  1. While many really didn't like a lot of the aspects of Advanced warfare's zombies, there was one particular aspect that REALLY intrigued me. That was the ability to get your tombstone after death no mater if you had the perk or not. In zombies, and particularly on the bigger maps, the main issue with death is getting back up. You go down in tranzit and It's almost guaranteed that you'll lose everything. And on round 15 or so, it's hard as BALLS trying to get back up, get a gun, get jug and continue fighting, especially if you don't have the points when you spawn in. With tombstone life was slightly easer, but no one ever bought it because it wasn't in a good area, you never spawned near enough to the drop and it took up a perk slot. With the automatic tombstone, one can find theirs and get their guns back instantly, which is a MASSIVE help, and due to it being instant, it doesn't take up a perk-slot. Likewise, while you lose your secondary, the primary weapon you had is still yours. Of course on small maps like Der Reise or Nuketown, there's no need for this feature, only with big maps like tranzit and moon, so it should be present, but only in BIG maps.
  2. I want to discuss the REALLY convincing leaked image of the whole "collector's edition, every zombies map to date" pic, but we don't allow that here.... Still... It's a bit far fetched. I don't think it's real, but then again I thought PS4 early access wasn't going to be a thing, as is the same with thinking I'd see some zombies at E3...Soooooo....

  3. Now... Just WHAT the HELL ... is that... A blood-smudge? Likely. It is a zombie given by the odd extension of the thumb. What's do is that this zombie doesn't appear to be wearing a uniform like in the teaser at the end of the reveal trailer (and thank god for no more hat) it appears to be wearing a smock like if it was a butcher or doctor. Then what is that thing under the word "Until": armor? Is he a blacksmith? Unlikely his apron would be black not white. It has dimension to it so I don't think it's ALL a blood stain or shadow....
  4. Wrong section first of all, but more importantly: YOU CAN create your own maps, you just need a PC (preferably windows, I can't get it to work on my Mac.) and a version of the game, and the know-how from somewhere on the internet. I recommend you start with a box map, producing something like "Labyrinthian" or "Cryogenic" is HARD and TIME CONSUMING.
  5. Ok, so my idea for the next CODZ game involves 3 main aspects for what I call progressive play: 1/2: Creation: On a related note, these progressive play rounds are actuallly created on the new App released which allows one to check stats in zombies and MP, as well as choose which maps to play and the over-all objective's goal. You can pick and choose a variety of goals to add to your playlist of games. 1: Planning- To start progressive play, you need a plan of attack. For example lets say: Multiplayer: Your goal is to locate, infiltrate, and destroy a prototype weapon from the opposing faction. You can choose this mission from your console, and it will start you and your team off on a specific map... 2: Execution- Now that you've been dropped into a match it's your team's job to perform the task, while the other team tries to stop you. It's important to perform the task asked of you, as only the WINNING team moves on to the next part of the mission. As a bonus, players who stay in the game get a 1.25 multiplyer on their score for staying in. Once eliminated the opposing team is replaced by another team with a better shot at the final prize, but no multiplier. 3: The rewards: As a reward for progressive play every player on the winning team gets a gift of either a customizable item for their gun-creator/painter, but, as well theres a bonus gift to the player that -Killed the most enemy players, -Completed the most objectives (like gained points in hard point), and the player that got the most assists. This gift is mainly about 1000 XP bonus or more I forget what's considered a reasonable amount of XP. -------- Zombies: Progressive play is also available in zombies, to begin take your app (to create), select a map, and set some goals. -Don't use the mystery box, -Don't exit the first room until round 5, Collect Jug by round 7, Ect. then enter the game and have fun. At the end of the match, should goals be met, each player will get a mystery box, inside can range from anything like XP to things like PAP camo variants and new attachments for your PAPed guns.
  6. Trayarch just keeps fucking over the people who weren't prepared don't they...
  7. This idea that little squeakers and nuisances will disappear with a DLC "exclusivity" swap in in vein. PS4 has it's own squad of morons to take the cake. Not to mention Biblical Reaper. The only good that will come from this is PS4 users will finally get their DLC early. Nothing else.
  8. I've not got the time to read this whole thread.... Has anyone noticed that DELIGHTFUL little blueprint? What IS that machine?
  9. The Middle finger that COD has made towards the Xbox community is sharp... So sharp my avatar regenerated into the appropriate doctor:
THE WAR DOCTOR. Which means expect more grump from me...

But not everything is bad... This is OPPORTUNITY! And from the middle finger shall rise the D.L.O.D.S.S.  Hail Misfortune!

  10. What the hell. I mean honestly, what are they thinking! You can't just SWITCH the DLC "exclusivity" (Which is about the most improperly used term of the year) on the BIGGEST COD game of the next 3 years! What a dick move to Xbox users, LOYAL Xbox users, who, not all of but at least many of, went and got an Xbox one specifically for this game because that's what they typically play. Not to mention the pre-orders! I mean jesus, how many people now have to switch that or just forget about it entirely? I am legitly pissed about this. Fuck Fall out 4, Fuck backwards compatibility 2 years too late, Fuck your fancy controllers no average person will waste their money on. This E3 is a disappointment Xbox... I feel angry, and honestly I feel my balls have been yanked out from under me. I got an Xbox one last christmas, expecting to wait a year for BO3 and then be happy about it. Now not only am I getting DLC a month later, by which time a person who gets as excited about DLC as me is just too eager to look at his christmas presents. Now I don't get to join in any easter-egg hunts, or the discovery of basically anything? And don't pull that "Oh that's just what PS and PC has to deal with every year" bullshit with me, with little-to-no warning SO many Xbox fans are just getting their balls crushed. Call me a baby if you want, I'm not normally brought to my knees like this. In fact I'm at the point where I think I'm going to have to step away from Codz for a while. Congratulations Xbox,Vonderhaar, and God-Damn-Playstation 4, you've officially brought my hopes up to the PEAK of which I thought we were getting all around no "exclusivity", something I would have PREFERRED to Xbox "exclusivity", only to crush them over every playstation douchebag on the internet (biblical reaper included) who are rubbing it in us "Xbox Fan boy's" faces.
  11. CHILDREN SHUSH! If you want to fight you can do so if activision gives PS4 exclusivity over both consoles getting it, (by it not existing at all).
  12. Yeah, face it, EVERYONE plays COD more then they play an ACTUALLY good game like fall out. Battlefeild would be the main rival opponent, but at the end of the day, zombies tops all.
  13. Jurassic world is the greatest movie of all time. Period.

    1. Boom115

      Boom115

I mean I enjoyed it, but wouldn't go that far. The characters were pretty one dimensional and plot was meh. The overall scale of the action was amazing though. I also really enjoyed to nods to the original.

Shush! THE BIG DINOSAURS ATE THE LITTLE DINOSAURS! RAWR!

  14. The year is 2032, and we've long sense discovered the technology needed for the replication of cells and creation of genes. Logically, this means the first thing we did was replicated dinosaurs and use them for military purposes. Enter project 800: Dinosaur training program, where a dinosaur has recently been BRED with genes that allow a main central computer (RCDH) which controls every raptor, rex, and stegosaurus created. All seems fine... Until (cliche I know) the new pet walks in: The hydronosaurus. The first dinosaur that's become 40% metal. Naturally... It didn't take long for it to escape.... Now you and your 3 friends are left to defend the compound from all hostiles.... HAVE FUN!-RCDH Characters: -Marcus Eytze (Eye-zss): The head of security down here, naturally he's called in when the dinosaurs begin to break loose. Older gentleman, extensive knowledge of dinosaurs and how they work. -Sara Testla: Head of research and development, or so she thought.... Female, mid-to-late 30s. Knows the science at work here like the back of her hand. Oswind Yuri: Intern here, doesn't know much about this place, or anything for that matter. He's about 21 and is scared for his life. Scrawny, pale, and keeps checking his wrist-phone. Project-12: An escaped test subject. With the mind of a human, but scaly-skin of a prehistoric lizard of some sorts. He gains no extra benefits from his predicaments, yet works with you to get out of here alive. Likes to be called Ellis. Yurvano Demori: Bad guy, comes into play later, not playable... yet. Gameplay: The game progresses in rounds much like zombies. You're given a starting pistol: A revolver. Now, unlike zombies there are no points here. You survive, and you progress based on how you survive. Drops: -Scavenger: This allows you to pick up bullets left behind for the rest of the round. This replaces max amos. -Electric-death: Kills most dinos on contact with your suit. -Security: Does what it does in exo-zombies. -Restock: Re-fills all the weapons lockers on the map. -Drone: This gives you a random drone to help detect where you are and shoot dinosaurs and what-not. -Cleanliness: Sprays the entire factory in toxins that kill dinosaurs, don't worry, ellis is immune. Types of Dinosaurs: -Mutt: The basic cross-breed dinosaur, your protective suit will keep you safe from bites as long as you're given time to heal. -Raptors: fast, and deadly, they hit for slightly less then the basic mutt, but are faster then you. They're also smart and won't be distracted easily. They're basically dogs. -Pterodactyl: Comes on a special round. They attempt to bring you to their nest where you'll be feed to the babies. They can fly of course, and fall damage is an issue until you pick up the exo-boots, then the nest is all you have to worry about. -Viscous Triceratops: Historically known for being plant eaters... Not here... Lots of defense and hits hard, but is really slow. -Micro-raptor: Smaller raptors: Hard to shoot, and very fast. Shotguns are useful. -Acidosaur: Acid-spewing dinos.... Nothing to screw around with. Boss Dino: Each map is given a specific Boss dinosaur that comes on a certain round. However, unlike regular dinosaurs, this one you CAN'T kill without doing the easter egg. It's best to instead, just hide from it until it clears off. If it does spot you, RUN into SMALL areas where it can't reach and PRAY. You can make it lose interest in you by shooting it a bunch, but it will never kill it. For instance, the dinosaur in this map is the newest one: The Hydronosaurus. Basically a T-Rex in a cyborg outfit. How one progresses: Now like I said there's no points in this game mode, so killing dinos is always in your best interest. From the first room you simply have to kill a dinosaur that has digested a key ring. Lots of security guards have these keys, and dinos have eaten a lot of security guards. However, look sharp. You can only use each key once. So, open a new room, open the weapon's locker, or maybe the upgrade chest, maybe save it until a better point? Helpful things: Weapons lockers: There's typically a locker in each room that works as the wall weapon. Once you use a key on it, it stays open forever for everyone. So get your guns and get them now. Weapon pull: The "box" of this map: A glitchy weapons dispenser that's pulling weapons from outside the norm. Experimental amo: This converts your amo so it's designed to hit harder and better, but as with all amo runs out when you hit zero. Remember this CONVERTS your amo. It does NOT give you MORE and requires a key to activate each time. After converting 5 sets of amo for the same weapon, it gets stronger. Doors: Doors in this mode are color coded- meaning some keys can open some doors, but not all of them: Red keys open red doors, Yellow opens yellow, blue opens blue. But all 3 can open any weapon locker or blank door, or upgrade chest. Upgrade chests: Perks of this game; Quick-Repair: Repairs your protective suit faster. Essentially jug. Amo-Flash: Faster reload time. Exo-boots: Allow you to withstand falls from any height, and walk on acid without taking damage. Speed-jump: Quickly thrust out of the way before you get hit! Printing: Constantly prints new amo for you, but slow. Big-bomb: Equips you with a big hulking bomb for big explosions. Good for distracting or spooking dinosaurs. You get one per round and can hold up to 3. Gravity shot: When hip firing, allows bullets to gravitate towards desired targets, as opposed to random firing within one's hit marker. Pick-me-UP: Quick revive basically. Note: You can only have 5 of these at a time. Now, as for mechanics: A blue key will always drop at the end of a round. A red key will drop randomly. A yellow key will always drop randomly during a special round. I'll be back later for how the game plays out. Also yes... I have seen jurassic world today...
  15. I thought the banner did have Xbox on it? Edit: No wait sorry, I'm wrong, Xbox is not on the banners. Still doesn't mean anything.
  16. To me it actually has been becoming LESS plausible, sense about 2 weeks ago, I've been legit worried PS4 would get the DLC first. But now I'm not worried in the slightest.
  17. No it is. I assume everyone here who started this discussion before the game was announced for last-gen is getting the game for current-gen. Last-gen gets the game late.
  18. Moon is what got me into zombies, but that's black ops 1... Origins is NOT a good choice: Too hard (to start with) Buried is good but it's a bit goofy, make that your second map. Tranzit is shit, don't bother. Die rise is Ok but won't do the trick. Nuketown isn't gonna work either. Yeah, MOTD is your best bet: -Epic cinematic -Isolated storyline -MAP ENDING -Epic wonder weapon(s) -Easy but looks like it should be hard -Creepy atmosphere.
  19. Nothing is confirmed yet, but that's putting my mind at ease now... Here's what I hope for: - We ALL get DLC early, last gen gets DLC late. -Xbox one gets DLC early, last gen gets no DLC -Wii U gets DLC exclusively.
  20. Here's an idea: PS4, PC, and XB1 get the DLC early, and Old-gen consoles get it a month later?

    1. Lenne

      Lenne

      Who would benefit from that?

    2. Stop Mocking Me0

      Stop Mocking Me0

Everyone with a current-gen console. Plus it would increase PS4's and PC's DLC sales now that EVERYONE has the ability to explore JUST as much as EVERYONE else.

  21. Week 2: June 12th: E3 Predictions: So, E3 starts in 2 days (almost midnight here), and of course we're going to see a glimpse of this year's COD. Now, why I'm NOT going into a discussion of it, we can finally get to the end of "PS4 gets DLC first": If it's Xbox early, everyones pretty neutral, if it's PS4 early there's going to be a LOT of pissed gamers who switch their Pre-orders to the other console, or cancel them, but if it's both everyone is hype for the next COD as we get to go easter egg hunting with our PS and PC brethren FINALY.
