I'm pretty sure we've all already agreed upon this? The point is that they may have left the coding for Lander 2 in the map information (like all of the unused dialogue that's been found). We simply want to see if it is possible to access and if so, where the lander station would have been. Also, you guys should really stop trying to tie this with the node puzzle easter egg. Thats what I meant: There almost certainly is no "would have been", it would just be one of the places that are already in place. There might have just been a glitch or error that was easier to rewrite than fix, with all of the locations unchanged Ah, I understand what you're saying now. They just renamed one of the already existing lander stations right? However, I honestly doubt that they messed up something as simple as path finding so bad that they needed to rewrite it all together. I mean it's between two static points. It's no where near as complicated as the zombie path finding, which has to take into account the players location and the constraints of the map. If anything, I think they designed the map with more in mind, and then realized that they simply didn't work, either for a technical reason or just gameplay wise. I wouldn't be surprised if it just leads to the non functioning lander that has been left on the map.

Graphic that shows how strong the zombies get on Ascension

You realize that all of this has been calculated before, right? That's a document over on GameFAQs with all of the zombie health and number multipliers, and data for all of the weapon damage. -
You realize that there are Kino specific files though, right? The point is that we were trying to look for any potentially missed easter eggs, which Opticomfgwtf has done a good job of pointing out.

The sixth lander is a given, much like how there had to be more teleporters for the team to get into Der Riese. I didn't mean to imply that your thread was a worthless theory. Sorry about that. I was referring to those people that insist the node puzzle easter egg will continue via some outlandish action, such as shooting certain parts of the map. That easter egg is clearly finished, and while this isn't an actual easter egg, it is far more interesting and plausible. It doesn't mean that there aren't other easter eggs on Acension, though. Now that the PC version of the map is out, we really need some one to post all of the games textures for us to comb through. There's a noclipper on the Five board that has brought up a lot of good information that connects Kino and Five (several shared diagrams, the same desk, etc.)

Bump because more people need to read this rather then throwing out random theories or thinking that they've come up with new info that we've really already covered in the classic maps.

I don't know about two missing landers, but there were originally 5. If you go look at the code, they are labeled 1,3,4,5. The question is where is 2? Check out baltostar's posts concerning the coding. As a fellow programmer, I can vouch that he knows his stuff (more so than the people on here just throwing out random theories).

"Knowing money hungry people as they are..." Talking about a Facebook petition. Lol, your opinion is invalid. As a business, Activision and Treyarch will continue to produce maps as long as they are profitable, but have you ever seen a video with the employees at Treyarch? They actually get excited (hiding easter eggs in XBL videos) and have taken the time to craft a story in a minigame where they didn't need to. In fact, most people don't care, but the employees are aware that some people do. What more do you expect? This is already a huge leap as far as Nazi Zombies is concerned. We got to interact with a being other than Samantha. Besides, the map starts with him asking to be freed, which we do, and are rewarded for. Seems pretty complete to me.

Can't find everything in the code. Oh, you. Where else would it be?

You totally missed the point of my post. Also, Activision is not an assbag; it's a business (a successful one at that). Learn to stop taking it personally.

Bumping this because more people need to read it.

I just made an account to say that this is the most childish logic I've seen. Activision has no control over the creative aspects of the map, if they did then MW2 never would have been released with the Russian massacre level, and I doubt they'd care about one small easter egg anyway. If anything, the PS3 and PC will get unique variations of the easter egg. After all, the code is the same up until it comes to spelling a word with the lunar lander. PS3/PC users may have to spell out "HITSAM" or "HYENA" and they might get double points/nukes/carpenters, etc.
