Having trouble doing solo (online)

Recommended Posts

First off, let me get this off my chest... I suck at zombies solo. But even though I do, sometimes I try to play solo. But on Black Ops 2, when I connect online and try to play solo to get on the leaderboards, I'm just waiting because it says "Creating Lobby". So, I wait... a long time. I don't know why, but I have to wait a long time, and it seems like I can't play solo, unless I play offline. Is this a bug or something? Any suggestions?

When you're stuck creating a Solo lobby, back out the main menu and dashboard to your console home. Then load up Black Ops II again, and jump into a Multiplayer lobby (only you). If you can get the the "Create a Class" screen, then back out and head into Zombies. You should be able to start a Solo match.

I can always get in a multiplayer lobby and access the Create a Class screen, so I have no idea why I can't play solo.

I'm not too sure, seeing as I don't own a PS3. :P

I'm assuming it hasn't evolved, but may have similar system properties to that of the Xbox 360 session glitches. Usually a good ol' "Clear System Cache" will cure any console's problems regarding something like this. It basically terminates running game sessions and then restarts it back up so there are no waiting screens of death anymore.
