zachjdx Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Say I'm doing split screen online and the two other random players quit the game leaving just me and my brother. If we get a high round, will it still save to the leader board? And will it put the high score under Player 1 or 2? Thanks.
Chopper Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 As soon as they quit the game will end I'm afraid. And the scores will not update as the match has to be completed to enable it to update.
zachjdx Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 The game kept going after the two people quit because we were host. It was just me (player 1) and my brother (player 2) We died and the game ended like normal but I don't think it saves your score or does it?
Chopper Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Something doesn't make sense here. You and your brother are on the same PS3 in split screen. You host a game with 2 randoms. If the randoms both leave there is no-one left for you to host and the game will end with the message not enough players to continue.
zachjdx Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 No, as long as there is two people in the game it keeps going. lol XD If I was host by myself and 3 randoms left the game then it would end saying Not enough players blah blah
way2g00d Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I heard cases where Split screener's scores counts but your rounds don't if the third player leaves the lobby.
Superhands Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 The same has happened when playing split-screen with my mate on his PS3 - we were hosting, both randoms left and the game still continued with just us. There are still 2 players in the game so the game will continue, though I'm 99% sure it won't count on the leaderboards as the game will be taken offline.
shirtlesservice Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 It doesnt, me and my brother did the same thing and made it to like 30 before having to kill ourselves (dinner time) and the score didnt count. ticked me off :x
