Possible theory as to why the theif takes your weapons...

First of all, Hello all. I'm new to the forums however, I've been lurking around for some time. I decided to become a member and participate in the discussions.

On to the reason for my post...After reading a few of the ideas being tossed around I had an idea of my own.

Could the pentagon thief be stealing your weapons to add to the goodie box? When killed he becomes very upset and states that he has failed. He has failed to acquire your weapon to add to the goodie box, thus failing to supply any means for Tank and guys to accomplish their quest.

If he is Dr. Maxis then it could be that he is just playing games with Tank and the guys. Thus failing to supply the goodie box with fresh weapons means that his fun will not last very long.

What are your thoughts?

Well, if it was indeed Tank and the gang who were on this map, then this would be a little more interesting. Also, what would be the point of taking your weapon and putting it in the box? The box already chooses a random weapon, it wouldn't make sense to have stolen weapons come up unless the weapons stolen were PaP'd, otherwise it would make no difference.

The thief probably failed as in failed to weaken your defenses, thus leaving you open to attack and finally death. He's very malevolent... And a douche...

Also, welcome to the forums! :D
