  1. Yep! Alex has flashbacks throughout the campaign in the same style as he talks to Hudson.
  2. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that we may be presuming the full emblem-there just appear to be no ties (and I can't imagine why there would be) to Watermans Applied Science; and obviously, a Trademarked logo would probably be avoided as much as possible. I stole-and all creds to @LiamFTWinter's-remake of the emblem for an example modification. I'm thinking there's something in the space below the trident that they aren't ready for us to see, hence, the placement being right behind the tree, effectively blocking that whole area. Maybe I'm wrong. I just think Waterman is a red herring, though @blackfire561 did a great job of identifying the design so quickly.
  3. Hm. I was thinking it looked like a satellite shot of a warehouse district. Though that wouldn't have anything to do with anything else we've seen.
  4. Agreed. I was just saying I think it's probably likely that they will. Personally, I really wanna see what happens to Samantha and the remaining O4.
  5. Oooookay. Still working on it. Not sure what I did, but suddenly this popped out.
  6. I dunno. Maybe for one more map with the N4 to clarify some of the story; but yeah, I'm with you, @Nightmare Voyager. I feel like they kinda ran their course, did their thing. Obviously, the O4 have to return. All four of them. Zombies revolves around that buncha ragamuffins. It will be interesting to see whether they return as the Origins 4 (likely) or the Original 4.
  7. But seriously, that tree is an Hokkaido landmark, the terrain is the same-the hill to the left, the dip to the right, and the mountain range in the distance, right side. Treyarch put it in the video. Why? I don't know. Could it be meaningless? For scenic purposes only? I would not be surprised. But while we're investigating, I figgered we'd figger out if there is anything historically significant about the island.
  8. From the Hokkaido government website (http://www.pref.hokkaido.lg.jp/sm/hrt/hp-en/hist-en.htm): The Northern Territories issue began in September 1945 when the Soviet Army illegally occupied the islands of Etorofu, Kunashiri, Shikotan and Habomai, which were inherent Japanese territories. As the difference of positions of the two countries did not provide any prospect to reach an agreement on the territorial issue except with regard to Habomai and Shikotan during the negotiation process, on 19 October 1956 Japan and the Soviet Union signed the Japan-Soviet Joint Declaration to end the state of war and to restore diplomatic and consular relations between the two countries, having agreed to continue negotiations for the conclusion of a peace treaty which should included the territorial issue, after the restoration of normal diplomatic relations between Japan and the Soviet Union. In Article 9 of the Declaration, the two countries agreed to continue negotiations for the conclusion of a peace treaty and the Soviet Union agreed to hand over Habomai and Shikotan to Japan after the conclusion of a peace treaty. The Tokyo Declaration signed by Prime Minister Morihiro Hosokawa and President Boris Yeltsin in 1993 mentioned each of the Four Islands of the Northern Territories by name and defined the territorial issue as an issue of which country these islands belong to. The Declaration set out clear negotiation guidelines; Japan and Russia should conclude a peace treaty by resolving the territorial issue (i) on the basis of historical and legal facts, (ii) based on the documents to which both parties agreed, and (iii) on the principles of law and justice. And from the World War 2 Database (http://ww2db.com/battle_spec.php?battle_id=167) The Japanese northern-most home island of Hokkaido was in the invasion plans, (Soviet Manchurian Strategic Offensive Operation: 9 August, 1945 - 2 September, 1945) but Japan surrendered before Soviet forces were ready to mount such an invasion. During the Allied occupation of Japan, the Soviet Union repeatedly demanded Hokkaido be occupied by Soviet forces without answering to the Supreme Commander of Allied Personnel, but General Douglas MacArthur sternly opposed the idea, and threatened the Soviet representative General Kuzma Derevyanko with military action should Soviet forces set foot on the island. Derevyanko, knowing well that MacArthur was not bluffing, advised Moscow to halt any plans for Hokkaido. And that's all there really is to Hokkaido.
  9. Actually, fellas, are we *sure* @Schrödinger wasn't onto something here? I'm gonna do a bit more research...but just take a look at this. These are eerily alike. Mid-Research Findings: It would appear that someone *ahem*Jimmy*ahem* has been travelling for Treyarch to capture a lot of this footage that they are using. This is a famous tree called the Christmas Tree in Hokkaido, Japan. You know what...I dunno what it's all about yet, but Brains to you @Schrödinger. Good find.
  10. @Shrodinger close! So close! I can't, but I almost wanna give you brains just for the effort!
  11. Yeah, that 'program' was rather resemblant of these teases. Thinking MK-Ultra/brainwashing is a safe suggestion.
  12. Oh, right. That's more likely, knowing Treyarch. Like MarkL said at DICE, Treyarch has always liked to delve into the darker side of war.
  13. It's very fast. And I think....we're building up to something. Definitely a hypnosis.
  14. Has anyone heard from the devs today? Seems like they're just letting the hype train roll now. lol! Prolly having a good chuckle.
  15. Did we confirm the account was actually associated with a Dr. Salim? Edit: just saw @Stop mocking me0 's post. So it shows up at Dr. Salim if you add CoD from the QR code. Very interesting...
  16. We're listening, Treyarch!

  17. Treyarch has a history with MK-Ultra, etc. That would not surprise me at all. Anyone ever see Manchurian Candidate? Manchurian Candidate (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0368008/ I've never seen the original 1962 production, so I can't vouch for it, though it's very worth looking into now. However, 2004 was phenomenal. Better yet, though, would probably to read the original 1959 novel by Richard Condon. Gonna have to add it to my bookshelf soonish here...
  18. Interesting...... @ do you mean 1895? Cause the dates are incontinuous. Very good Intel, though.... On the other hand...Operation Desert Storm ended 11/30/1995 or November 30, 1995. New timeframe, landing between BO1 and BO2?
  19. I hate hopping on the hype train...I'm an adult, I should act like one, right? Hahaha! Yeah...prolly. This may be nothing, but researching that phrase brought me to a movie that I had come across a couple years ago. Treyarch puts deep stuff into their hints alotta times. But sometimes, it's just a riddle, or a simple message. Any association may be a real stretch, but the synopsis was oddly coincidental. The Sound of My Voice (2011) http://m.imdb.com/title/tt1748207/
