I think your right, today i was playing and i only had one crawler left and i threw the gersch device to do the kassimir mechanism, and after it sucked it up i heard another sound from the black hole and a zombie had come out of nowhere

Dempsey is confirmed to have been to verruckt, the computer has alot of stuff about the zombies storyline. But dempsey nikolai and takeo were probably experimented on, at der riese maybe, to see what 115 would do on a living person. Also in the computer i'm almost positive it says the three were part of a super soldier program
