  1. It depends on which bow you're going for and how long you're playing the match. If you're aiming for higher rounds, then the Bows are worth the time and effort. Anything else outside the Easter Egg is pointless considering that this map was not designed for guns in mind (which says a lot to be honest).

You will NEED something to clear crowds out considering how narrow most of the map is with getting from one place to another.

  2. Welcome to the community, friendo! Glad to see you use Twitch - consider linking up with our CoDz profile when you have the chance.

Oh, and those rad blue guys summed up what was going to be said. But welcome and enjoy your stay!

  3. That's what you get for playing on PC.

Nah but seriously, that looks pretty intriguing. It's designed like any other snowflake in the distance, but considering each snow particle is moving in a different formation, perhaps this is "the odd one out"?

  4. As I keep repeating the Easter Egg, I get more disappointed with the monotonous steps that Treyarch as recycled to make the quest seem "fuller". How many times do we have to endure "kill X amount of zombies" steps during an EE? The Keeper charging step is one thing, but the upgrade your bows using the kill limit twice only to have it reappear again later on? It gets tiresome.

And the whole one-try-per-round step is quite infuriating. All it does is punish you for not being quick enough to complete a certain objective or for failing to do it correctly. C'mon, at least just reset the step and make us do it again - don't have us wait an ENTIRE round just to kick it back up resulting in an Easter Egg that'll make you finish at like Round 29. Incredulous.

Surely I can't be the only one getting irritated with this approach? I'm not even mad at the creativity behind the quests; just annoyed on the process of certain elements of progression.

  5. We may never know if it were a size issue. But the bridge IS shown in the intro cinematic with the crew walking underneath it. Judging from the rest of the bridge on the other side, it appears to lead nowhere (and is for perspective purposes).

I can't tell you how many times I've tried mashing the X button when first hopping into the map, in hopes that I could magically clear the debris like other areas. :Weary Face:

Perhaps there was something in the MPD before her. When Richthofen replaced Samantha in the Moon Pyramid Device, you could see Samanthas soal going out of it. Maybe, when Samantha went into the MPD, you could see an other thing leaving it, but no one knows. Only Samantha is witness of that event.

I agree completely. However, opening the MPD doesn't necessitate a soul leaving it. As we have seen in the Moon Easter Egg, you have to acquire the Vril Device filled with energy, collect enough souls to replace the souls, and hit a switch. I don't think that process even remotely happened when Sam first entered the pyramid.

But you are right that there was something before her. Richtofen accidentally touched the pyramid when he first teleported to the moon and got shocked, thus hearing voices and becoming insane later on. It would be wrong to say there isn't anything tied to the MPD, but the question is this: did touching the pyramid cause Richtofen to initiate contact with said voices, despite there being nothing within it? Possibly.

Good question, but no one knows an answer for sure. Some think its Maxis, some think its Samantha, and some think it is something else, something ancient and evil....

Yellow eyes normal means Samantha or Maxis, but in Origins, the zombies have also yellow eyes and there, it is inpossible for Samantha or Maxis to be in the MPD

Actually, in Origins, Samantha resided within Agartha and could have very well been in control of the zombies. Alongside that, the Ancient Evil still presided in Agartha at the very same time. I theorized long ago that the Evil was using Samantha as a scapegoat to let the NO4 help them escape their eternal prison in order to overtake the universes. Once freed, Samantha went back into her respective universe whereas the Evil was free to roam and bring destruction.

Being in the MPD doesn't necessarily mean that you're the controller indefinitely; it's just another channel for power in the ethereal realm. Think about it this way: who controlled the zombies prior to Samantha being in the MPD? We assume the Ancient Evil, yet we know no one was within the MPD when she took refuge in it. It all varies on where one could obtain ethereal power.

That being said, we're dealing with a multiverse, which means that Samantha can still very well be in control - although it's not the same Samantha we are trying to save. Different universes, different people. Hope that makes sense.

  8. I've been having a major bug that prevents me from ever finishing a game or even playing it through successfully - because of the Ragnarok buildable. It seems that every time I use it for the smash ability, I automatically get disconnected from the game entirely. It's happened ever since I downloaded the DLC [I have the Season Pass on Xbox One] and it's infuriating to the point where I have forced myself to no longer use it.

As far as I know, no one else has encountered this bug, and it's game breaking for me. I would like to think it's my internet acting up but oddly enough, I never get disconnected from any DE match I've had thus far unless I use the Ragnarok.

Hopefully someone could lead me in the right direction, or maybe someone has dealt with this on any given console yet and knows a good quickfix?

  9. Yeah, the game keeps tracks in your barracks but I believe it does so only if you're online.

If you can supply the post where you suggested in, then yes. But that would be for the PaP one (there's only one Contributor medal allowed per person anyways so you'd be okay).

The frames that show something exploding also shows some trees which kind of look like "The Frozen Forest"?

Are the characters dying & moving into the frozen forest?

Those look like shockwave effects mate; either that or I'm tree-blind, haha.

@MixMasterNut is right - they did this too with The Giant. It's as if Treyarch is constantly hinting this is not the work of 935 anymore...especially since one of the Giant radios tells us about the group disbanding and leaving Maxis/Richtofen/Samantha all alone (with possibly Dr. Monty, wherever the hell he is/was). We had very, very minor intel in the previous installments about Group 601 and this seems like the universe's new Group 935...if it ever gets down that path. I love it.

  11. Thought it was easy to collect one of each medal on CoDz thus far? If you thought you were done, you're gonna have a bad time.

With the upcoming release of Der Eisendrache as Black Ops 3's first DLC of the season, the staff decided to do a couple of mind games of our own with the community. In this case, brand new medals with prestigious new tiers to truly test your slaying abilities. Question is, how long can you survive the onslaught?
