  • Just Cause 3 Hype

    Ryan R.

Let’s talk about the upcoming highly anticipated Just Cause 3 release.  The Just Cause franchise blew up in popularity upon the release of Just Cause 2.  I myself was addicted to playing countless hours on the timed beta that was released shortly before its launch date.  It led me to purchasing the game and enjoying countless hours zipping around with my grapple.  Attaching poor pedestrians to cars and tearing them through the city.  The story line for Just Cause 2 was so-so, it was lots of repetitive go here, blow this up, you win!  Which is great, but doing the same thing over and over gets to me.  Once I completed the game I became interested in the original.  I picked it up and started to enjoy the same game with downgraded, out of date graphics.  I can’t touch on Just Cause too much as I did not get to into it because of my initial dip into the 2nd game of the franchise.  Moving on, Just Cause 2 was missing something BIG to take the game to the next level.

Multiplayer. I always would play this game in a party full of my friends.  We would each describe the crazy things going on in our games.  The game was missing a key ingredient to today’s games.  Multiplayer is the way games nowadays last.  The fact that this is an open world free roam would keep the servers populated.  Look at the success of GTA IV the servers were very populated until the release of GTA V.  The ability to do what you wish, and still have several online modes to compete against one another keeps a game like this alive.  It was in great shock when a couple of PC modders showed off some videos of them playing together online!  The hype for the game came back alive, I remember reinstalling it and getting my feet wet with the controls.  I knew release of a multiplayer mod was soon.  Only to be gratefully disappointed, the project was rumored to be canceled.  Time passed and it eventually released.  I spent hours and hours in highly populated servers causing mayhem all over the land.  I have since moved on from Just Cause. I was ready for a new land.  A new map to explore, a new adventure.

Just Cause 3 was officially announced November 2014.  Fans of the series were very excited to see that one of the greatest open world games would be returning for another installment to their hit franchise.  Just Cause 3, from what has been released, looks along the lines of its 2nd release.  Tropical set environment, which I’m sure expands thru the lands of other terrain.  Avalanche studios has officially announced that no multiplayer will be included in the game.  A hard blow to us fans, but I’m sure with time the modding community will bring this to light.  I’m excited to see what is to come with this release.  Release is set for Q4 of 2015.  Soon we will have our first game play trailer of the new installment.  That is set to drop 4/28/2015.  One last note, Just Cause 2 was full of small DLC packs for extra guns, vehicles, skins.  Just Cause 3 has been confirmed to be a full game, micro transaction free.

Amidst the dark and eerie night
A choice to make – to run or fight?
      The undead horde approaches fast
Armed with weapons, till the very last
In Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies
The battle for survival never ceases
A test of skill, courage and wits
As waves of zombies just never quits
Blood-soaked grounds and a burning sky
The stakes are high, the danger nigh
But in this game, we rise above
To conquer the undead with brute, tough love
With finger on the trigger and heart in hand
We face the terror, and take a stand
For in this game, we live or die
With Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies, we must survive.

and later released worldwide on December 14, 2011.
The game features the same gameplay mechanics as its predecessor, with players fighting off waves of zombies as they try to survive for as long as possible. The game also includes a new storyline set in a Cold War-era Pentagon, with the characters from the original Zombies mode returning to fight off the undead.
The game allows for up to four players to play together via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and also includes a single-player mode with a new leaderboard system to track high scores.
Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies received mixed reviews upon release, with critics praising the game's addictive gameplay and multiplayer functionality, but criticizing the graphics and lack of content compared to the console versions of the game. Despite this, the game was a commercial success, with over a million downloads in its first week of release.

The games in this series are primarily first-person shooters that simulate real-world combat scenarios, with a heavy emphasis on multiplayer gameplay. Call of Duty has become one of the most successful and popular video game franchises in history, with millions of copies sold and numerous accolades and awards.
Each Call of Duty game typically has a different setting and storyline, ranging from World War II to present day and beyond. The games often incorporate real-world events and locations, as well as fictionalized versions of historical battles and conflicts. Single-player campaigns usually revolve around a central protagonist or group of protagonists, while multiplayer modes offer a range of gameplay options and customization features.
In addition to the video games, the Call of Duty franchise has expanded into other media, including books, comics, and a feature film. The games have also spawned a vibrant esports community, with professional players and teams competing in tournaments and leagues all over the world.

    • Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes has over a hundred characters that can join your fledgling force. One of them happens to be a mighty spellcaster who can turn the tide of battle. Here's our guide on how to recruit Isha in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. How to recruit Isha in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Isha was originally introduced in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, which served as a prequel to Hundred Heroes. In this particular game, you can recruit her once you've completed three of her tasks. Here's a quick summary: Isha can be found in Eltisweiss if you revisit it later in the campaign. Specifically, it's after you've defended the city of Hishahn from imperial forces. Return to Eltisweiss and go to the plaza with the fountain. There, you'll meet Isha. Isha's three tasks involve finding a lost cat, collecting a Cockatrice Egg, and delivering a package. Where to find the lost cat The first task if you want to recruit Isha in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes involves finding a black cat. Simply head to the southwestern corner of Eltisweiss to spot the furry feline. Go back to Isha so she can give you the next challenge. We all know that cats are awesome! How to get a Cockatrice Egg The second objective takes a bit more effort. You have to return to Mountain Path Homeward, the pass that leads to Nowa's village. Roam around the area until you get a random encounter against a Cockatrice. If you see a treasure chest behind it, use the Attack/Gimmick command to loot the container. This nets you the Cockatrice Egg. Time to catch before they hatch. How to deliver the package Finally, you have to go all the way back to Arenside, which is where you started the campaign. Thankfully, you don't have to make the trek on foot. Once you've unlocked the fast travel mechanic, you can teleport back to the initial village. Enter the item shop/inn and hand over the package to the woman to finish this task. Back where it all began. Isha's role in the game Once you're done with all three tasks, Isha will permanently join your forces. You'll soon realize that she's an invaluable asset, primarily because of her amazing stats. She has high speed, allowing her to get her turn earlier in a round. Even better, her magic stat is extremely high, making her a remarkable spellcaster. In fact, only a select few characters (i.e. Momo) can manage to trump her in this category. That's everything you need to know about how to recruit Isha in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. If you're keen in meeting more allies, you can check our guides on the Divination Parlor and all recruitable characters. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes takes you all across the lands of Allraan, where you bolster the resistance forces by allying with powerful combatants and growing your headquarters. • A new 8BitDo Ultimate controller is headed to Xbox, bringing a wealth of versatility and customization to Xbox at a very tempting price. Officially licensed by Xbox, the 8BitDo Ultimate launches on June 13 and is available to preorder for $70 from Amazon, but there's a notable catch here for Xbox users. On PC and mobile, the 8BitDo Ultimate Xbox controller should prove to be a great alternative to the official wireless Xbox controller. 8BitDo Ultimate Controller (Black) -- $70 8BitDo Ultimate Controller White -- $70 While this controller features the high build quality and platform flexibility of other 8BitDo Ultimate devices, the bad news here is that if you intend to use it specifically on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One, you can only do so in wired mode with the included detachable USB-C cable. That's certainly a disappointing revelation, especially since at first glance, you'd think it simply looks like an Xbox version of the fantastic 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth controller for Nintendo Switch and other platforms. Currently, the 8BitDo Ultimate doesn't offer a wireless mode for Xbox consoles. A firmware update could theoretically change that--Microsoft did open up its wireless protocol to allow third-party manufacturers to make wireless controllers for Xbox last year--but for now, this is strictly a wired affair on that platform, and we wouldn't recommend banking on post-launch wireless compatibility. What's particularly peculiar in this case is that 8BitDo has used Microsoft's wireless protocol already. The stellar 8BitDo Arcade Stick offers wireless connectivity via a 2.4GHz dongle. 8BitDo Ultimate Xbox ControllerAs mentioned, the 8BitDo Ultimate is compatible with platforms outside of the Xbox ecosystem. PC players can sync the controller using 2.4GHz wireless or Bluetooth. 8BitDo says Android is supported for mobile, but if it mirrors the existing 8BitDo Ultimate, you also shouldn't have a problem connecting via Bluetooth on iOS. PC and mobile players should keep in mind that you can get essentially the exact same controller at Amazon for $57 right now. The existing version of the Ultimate works wirelessly on not just PC and mobile, but also Nintendo Switch. However, using the Switch model on PC means you will have to get used to face buttons with the "wrong" layout. Switch controllers reverse A and B as well as X and Y, which can be frustrating when gaming on PC, especially if you've been using an Xbox controller for a long time. That's where the new Xbox model comes in. Outside of the wired connection on Xbox, the new 8BitDo Ultimate retains the most impactful features that made the 8BitDo Ultimate our favorite third-party Switch controller and our top pick in our best PC controllers roundup roundup. It has Hall Effect joysticks designed to mitigate the possibility of stick drift, a chunky D-pad, and a pair of remappable back buttons. There is an impressive amount of customization to take advantage of, and the controller comes with a compact charging dock in case you decide to use it on a non-Xbox platform. 8BitDo's proprietary Ultimate software for PC, Mac, Xbox, and mobile lets you quickly remap inputs, adjust trigger sensitivity, create dead zones, and save up to three custom profiles. There are a few differences in features between the two controllers as well. The Xbox edition comes with microswitch bumpers and a 3.5mm audio jack--this is another nice addition for PC players who are trying to decide between the two models. Meanwhile, the Switch version has gyro motion controls. Additionally, the listing for the Xbox controller makes no mention of rumble, while the Switch controller has adjustable rumble. PC users should also check out 8BitDo's retro-inspired keyboards for some great add-ons to your PC gaming setup, as the company offers Famicom- and NES-inspired designs, and a Commodore 64 edition with a detachable arcade stick releases next month.
