  • Is Sony Working On The PS4K?

    Hells Warrrior

The Rumour mill has it that Sony is working on a 4K- version of the PS4 with increased GPU to give in game visuals a boost and will also help the PS VR

Known as the "PS4.5" or "PS4K", developers told Kotaku that the device would feature an improved graphical processing unit (GPU), which would give in-game visuals a boost.

The increased processing power would also let it display games at 4K resolution.

It's worth taking this with a pinch of salt at the moment and it's unlikely to be released this year "if at all" with sources saying it's "exploratory" according to Kotaku.  Sony certainly isn't talking about it publicly, although there's murmurs of hush hush meetings.

Amidst the dark and eerie night
A choice to make – to run or fight?
      The undead horde approaches fast
Armed with weapons, till the very last
In Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies
The battle for survival never ceases
A test of skill, courage and wits
As waves of zombies just never quits
Blood-soaked grounds and a burning sky
The stakes are high, the danger nigh
But in this game, we rise above
To conquer the undead with brute, tough love
With finger on the trigger and heart in hand
We face the terror, and take a stand
For in this game, we live or die
With Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies, we must survive.

The game features the same gameplay mechanics as its predecessor, with players fighting off waves of zombies as they try to survive for as long as possible. The game also includes a new storyline set in a Cold War-era Pentagon, with the characters from the original Zombies mode returning to fight off the undead.
The game allows for up to four players to play together via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and also includes a single-player mode with a new leaderboard system to track high scores.
Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies received mixed reviews upon release, with critics praising the game's addictive gameplay and multiplayer functionality, but criticizing the graphics and lack of content compared to the console versions of the game. Despite this, the game was a commercial success, with over a million downloads in its first week of release.

    • Bandai Namco has just dropped story details for its third-person action game, Sand Land, based on Akira Toriyama's manga from 2000. Bandai Namco revealed the third-person action game back at Summer Games Fest, but this new trailer gives us a little more detail, including our first glimpse of a new original character. Check it out below: "Dive into a desert world where both humans and demons suffer from an extreme water shortage," teases Bandai Namco, as translated by Gematsu. "Play as and watch the Fiend Prince, Beelzebub, Sheriff Rao and demon Thief set off on an adventure in search of a Legendary Spring hidden in the desert. Read more View the full article
    • Resident Evil Village is coming to Apple-flavoured smart devices just in time for Halloween on 30th October, 2023. As spotted by the fine folks at Gematsu, whilst the action horror game is free to download and lets anyone try out the opening sequences for free, you'll need ¥4990 – that's around £27 – to unlock the full game, and another ¥2000 (£11) to experience the "Winters' Expansion" DLC. And yes, the Resident Evil 4 Remake iDevice port is also still on track, too, although Capcom will only commit to a vague "2023" release. Unlike the older Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake will set you back ¥7990 (£44) and the newly-released DLC, Separate Ways, ¥1000 (£5.50). Again, you can download the game for free and give it a try before you buy. Read more View the full article
