The link between Garden of earthly delights and MC Escher

A quick search showed no sign of this specific link between the two paintings, however it seems there must be some significance to this. Obviously I am new and feel free to flame for first post but I have read around for a long time since w@w.

Anyway both paintings contain the same woman on close enough look.
