God destroyed the tower and changed everyone's language so they couldn't communicate to build it again. I don't see that happening here.

well the tower or that HAARP project that the bus driver talks about, is supposed to be the communication to the aether where Richthofen controls the zombies from. So maybe we eventually do have to destroy the tower or any other communication way.
