Something that I find funny..

Recommended Posts

I find that a lot of people don't really like Ascension and their reason for not liking it is because they say the Lander thing is too easy to run trains on but at the same time these same people will say Der Reise is their favorite map. But if you play Der Reise there's two lander like trains you can make. One in below the catwalk and the other in front of the door that opens the catwalk. Plus monkeys are harder than dogs. So what gives?

I think it's that with Ascension, you end up using pretty much the same strategy every single time you play it, because it works so well. Also, many people find that monkeys are annoying/too complicated to defend against.

I find that people like Der Riese more because there are more ways of playing it - training, camping on catwalk or just going mental and camping at the mainframe. Whenever I play it with randoms, I'll just go to wherever I feel like going and try and survive there. There's more room for messing around on this map I find.

Just a matter of preference really, I suppose 8-)
