Irritating glitch...

I was playing with a few randomers the other day, guarding the barrier up the stairs next to phd and firing down, I saw a powerup, so I jumped down with jugs, and instead of hurting me, downing me or something, it killed me. It just went straight to spectating. Any reason for this?

Yeah that same thing has happened to me! Not sure why though . . .

Must be a random bug/glitch. They fixed few things in ascension especially a lander glitch that does the same thing when you attempt it, it basically kills you and places you in spectating mode.
