Need Help! (easter egg glitch?)

so i am on moon right now with a friend. we are doing big bang theory and we are at the step where you put the golden rod inbetween the plates. i am rictofen and i have the golden rod. i hold x on the plates but he wont put the rod in. (yes we have the cable connected). anyone have any ideas?

Do you have the Ensemble Cast Achievment and Time Travel Will Tell Achievment?

If I'm not mistaken the player who's controlling Richtofen needs to have completed the Call of the Dead and Shangri-La Easter eggs to be able to complete this task. Do you see the golden rod/focusing stone icon on the bottom of the screen?

well. i only have the call of the dead easter egg complete and yes the golden rod was on the bottom of my screen. so maybe not doing the shangri la easter egg was my problem?

I've heard you need both achievements, and I've heard you don't need either..

The other night I was playing with a guy who spawned in as Richtofen, he had the Rod, and was able to put it between the plates, but he also told me he didn't have the achievements. I looked, and he didn't.. so I dunno what to say. Have you tried doing it again since this happened?
