Undeadwolfy Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Need I say more? "@JD_2020 #AskJD is the PS3 version a port of the 360 or was there a specific Playstation team used to take advantage of PS3 horsepower? @brandonNaustin There is a specific PS3 team that makes that version of the game. It's not a "port" - that's just a myth in the community." ~ Josh Olin, Community Manager
gordogg24p Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Well it's not wrong. You can't use Xbox Live party chat on PS3 EVER. If you are able to, you probably shouldn't be allowed to play.

Legend Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 If it was not ported, then there would not be so many problems, and the main problem I see with most of the issues(both consoles) seems to come from the useless 3D.
Undeadwolfy Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 looks more like the circle button.
Phillips455 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 well... i thinks its a xbox button.... go wolfy! :D
Undeadwolfy Posted January 27, 2011 Author Posted January 27, 2011 *sigh*, what console is it played on? Notice the XMB? and look at what the text says...
Scoffington Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Either they fixed it really quickly or this is fake. I just checked and it does not say that. However, I can agree that the PS3 version of Black Ops is more obviously a port than MW2 was. I think they downright lied when they said the PS3 version had its own development team. Absolutely disgusting.
Undeadwolfy Posted January 27, 2011 Author Posted January 27, 2011 Yeh. It may not say that for everyone though. It might have been under specific circumstances. However, if this is true, the words "XBOX LIVE" should not even be anywhere near the disk of a game that was supposed to be made individually for the PS3 version.
thehoodedman Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Well it's not wrong. You can't use Xbox Live party chat on PS3 EVER. If you are able to, you probably shouldn't be allowed to play. But I can't wait for steam to come to the ps3 and then we shall have our cross game chat.
