Nacht Der Untoten

Grenade Room

2-4 Players

Do not open the couch to the grenade room

One player watches the window

1-3 players watch the single door the zombies come through

*Make sure the players shooting at the door are as close to the wall closest to the window to keep the zombies in a line.

Cabinet Ally

3-4 Players

1 players watches the window

2-3 players watch the ally

*The zombies should line up down the middle ally but try to keep in a tight group to avoid them spreading out.

Verruckt

MP40 Corridor

3-4 players

The bathroom door on the MP40 side must remain closed. The Thompson side must reach the power.

1 Player covers the window at the end of the hallway.

The remaining players cover the MP40 corridor on the other side of the electricity.

*Stay in a tight group to keep the zombies in a line.

*Use betties defensively at the end of the window hallway and MP40 corridor.

*If you get in trouble the electric barriers are easily accessible.

Shi No Numa

M1A1 Hut

4 Players

This is the room accessed in the spawn room through the gate but do not open it.

2 players cover both the windows

1 player stays at the bottom of the stairs with either the Browning or MG42

1 player stays at the top of the stairs with the Raygun

The player at the bottom of the stairs picks off zombies with his MG while the player at the top covers him with the raygun.

* Betties are important. Have them cover the top of the stairs as well as in front of the two windows.

* Perks are especially important in this strategy.

* Have the zipline ready to take you to doctors quarters in case sh*t hits the fan.

Der Riese

The Catwalk

2-4 Players

1-2 players in front crouching

1-2 players in back standing

Camp in the middle of the catwalk so you have room to back up and have the guy or guys in back have monkey bombs. You will need them.

* Monkey bombs are important since you have no place to escape to.

* Make a claymore/betty minefield at the end of the catwalk

M1A1 Ally

2-4 Players

Do not open the door to the M1A1 or the door to the trench gun.

1 player watches the window at the end of the ally. (Bowie knife recommended)

The rest of the players watch down the ally.

* Betties go in the space between the camping players and the window.

* If betties and monkey bombs fail then you can always open one of the doors and go to the catwalk. You will not be able to return to the ally though.

The Grenade Tunnel

3-4 Players

1 Player watches the window in the tunnel (Bowie knife recommended)

The rest camp to the left of the teleporter.

* Good idea to assign someone to pick off zombies from the catwalk stairs while the others pick them off from the main door.

* Betties go at the end of the tunnel and top of the tunnel stairs.

* Camp the catwalk during dog rounds so you can keep your betty minefield.

* Your escape will be the teleporter if you've run out of ammo but the end of the tunnel if your being overrun

This is just a compilation of the most widely used camping spots in the classic maps and here more for the noobs and not the vets who are probably familiar with these strats already. If you see a mistake or want me to add another strategy leave a comment. Keep in mind this isnt including any of the gauntlet/ circuit type strategies.

Post your highest round and what strategy you used!

Nice post.

Im really liking the classic maps. They feel new, fresh and updated. The old guns have new sounds too. Its awesome hitting the mystery box and getting new guns you have never seen before. Im glad they added attachments and dual wield for some guns too.

Another strategy to add for Nacht Der Untoten.

2-4 Players

Open the couch to the grenade room and go upstairs. Then open the door to go downstairs into the help room with the mystery box.

1-2 players can camp the stairs as the zombies come down in a nice line.

1-2 others can watch the windows and wall to stop zombies getting in.

I dont really understand your cabinet ally strategy. And do you mean alley not ally?

In Der Riese, the grenade alley is probably not the GREATEST spot, simply because there is no escape. I've found that the best technique for Der Riese (in later rounds) is "Teleporter hopping" at teleporter C. It's got me to round 40 (exactly) in WaW and i keep getting interrupted on Black Ops but from what I've played, I think I could get further. :P

its true about your idea and you might be able to go higher depending on how much points you still have. But he also forgot to add that if you and your team are camping in the granade alley, monkey bombs are a must due to once every one is cornerd in the alley you need to throw a monkey bomb fast throught the small window so the zombies could go outside and give you some limited space for your escape, 2-3 monkeys are recomended depending if one of your teammates got downed in the prosses. otherwise it might not be a recomended choice as a camping spot.
