I like Sam saying "Bye Bye" When people leave and also I like the icon of the zombie in the post, it should be if you click that icon you can change sound levels. Finally as an added touch the leave button should have a Teddy Bear next to it

There won't be any new triggers implemented. Just modifications of the current sound cues. Although it is a cool concept for sure.

You spoke, we listened. We want to “zombie-up” the chat mod. The staff would like your input on identifying some non-intrusive sound effects for members joining and leaving the chat (ex. Teleporter, round start, mystery box move). Keep in mind the sound can always be disabled so don’t fret if you enjoy your peace and quiet. Please leave any suggestions below!

I would imagine that this would be an easy target for those tech savvy folks to crack into content early and ruin it for the rest.

Yes we disabled this along with many other features in hopes that the folks who are out there lurking will decide to join not only the forum, but to community as well.

Eventually this mass consumption of multi-media will stop because it's a monopoly. 

Not so much, for a number of reasons.

A) Amazon works through vendors so they don't make the product they are selling, therefore they are not the industry themselves. B)Based on their yearly business model of customer obsession, the focus is never to increase profits and it is reflected through a number of services provided to the customer. C)They don't increase cost based on S/D. D) They don't do anything to prevent any other businesses from entering the market.

I don't expect any changes, with the exception of the addition of streamlined sales. For example links to amazon for the video game you are viewing. Additionally links to songs for purchase. Essentially anything Amazon purchases is for a company wide gain. This will most likely increase the hurtin' already laid down on game stop by the zon!

Is it just me or does the pentagon theaf look like Russman (other than weight and beard)

I know it's 2014 and all and we are taught not to see color, but come one man Russman is black and the thief is white as paper. :p

I think it is pretty safe to say that there will be a new thread about what exactly has been discussed at the meeting.

So I am asking if we could get a list of the staff which has been a part of it?

Yeah @GRILL already has a running thread for the results of the staff meetings. We did a preliminary meeting last friday with @GRILL @Slade @InfestLithium @Hells Warrrior and myself to discuss a few topics that didn't require the full input of the staff also to get an agenda together for this weeks meeting. We will update you soon after

Just to reiterate, nothing posted in this thread is a staff decision. As stated in the OP, this is a place to post suggestions to be discussed at the next meeting. The staff members are welcome to their own personal opinions, but at the end of the day we as a team make the call. So every post by a staff member is not a “staff decision” unless otherwise stated. Let’s try and be constructive in this thread, and not simply break down other’s ideas if we don’t agree. We all have the same goal in mind. To have a totally kick-ass website!

I agree about the Adult Section. There have been things I've said, that while may be offensive to some members, are really just typical words used in Rap, or Adult-type jokes. That way, those who "opt out" or whatever don't have to see Adult-level posts, and those who do can curse in all the TAMB glory as they wish.

You misunderstand what she means. She wants a mature section, not somewhere to post offensive content.

What happens if a member Obtains all Medals?

Hey Folks, we are now just eight short days away from the one year anniversary of the last DLC drop for Black Ops II.
