Hey guys, SUbmitted a few leaderboards for solo. Can the leaderboards Mods please take a  look at it.

Welp now I'm out 120 bucks. This looks really promising! I have not been excited for a new game in quite some time. I'm hoping this will help to fill the void treyarch has left in my heart.

Normally glitches in the last DLCs go unpatched after a month or two from release. I would say it is a legitimate as it is strategically planned and are not breaking the game. However I have seen a lot of high round players freeze the cosmonaut in the dome by launching as he spawns in. I see that as an exploit and not a strategy. To me that is on the same level as sitting in the elevator with the sliquifier in Die Rise for the entire round. It's not glitching the game per say, but it is abusing an unintended funtion.

@Tac we can look at doing all of this however we want to wait until Craig merges all the posts to the corresponding users accounts. We dont want to move the guest posts until that happens. He has his hands full at the moment so I will bookmark this thread and revist your suggestions in a bit. I'm definitely behind you on the need to organize and consolidate.

Pinnaz they weren't actually threads just empty pages. Still need to go through the threads and remove the duplicates. I'll tackle that some time this week.

Are you referring to the duplicate General Zombie Discussion threads? If so, I hope you're deleting the ones inside the vB GZD and not the currently-active CoDz GZD threads.

I always assumed that they were not teleporting, but replicating. As we all are aware from the Der Riese radios fluffy was said to have been pregnant with ze puppies.

So all of hellhounds that we encounter are actually the spawn of the original. They exist around the same belief that there are a seemingly infinite amount of zombie corpses in the maps area. If they really possessed the power of teleportation I would assume that they would reflect the movements of the nova crawlers on moon.

If you put up the idea for Veterans to be inducted into the user group just by "it feels right" then you have the same problem we originally had with the Legends/HoF group where there's a grey area in what actually makes them apart of that usergroup.

 

To keep things simple, I think it would be easy to make it so Hall of Fame takes place once a year, and those inducted into this group is because it was a unanimous Staff decision.

 

Then for Veterans, have it automatically kick in on its own once a member has reached their 4th year mark. Otherwise, it's granted if they decide to retire from staff. Whichever comes first.

I'm with you except for the automatic switch. I think it should be requested like an award. We would end up with several thousand "Veterans" with ten posts. That way we end up with only the truly dedicated folks.

 The staff itself is relatively new. Only couple of people from the staff are actually from early Bo days not to mention the W@W days from this site. So that right there is also one problem. There is no doubt to be more bias towards more recent contribution.

Undoubtedly that is how it will play out. The site has changed, the people have changed, and most certainly the recognition has changed.  Will the inactive folks from 2008-2011 be made legends? No probably not. Will I get a custom carbonfibah userbar? Nope. Do I care? No sir. Do they care? Probably not

However if you do have a nomination for one of the Ancient ones and can link us to some of their work. I and the rest of the staff would be more than happy to take it into consideration. Let us know!

Why not make a UOTY (User of the Year)? Nominations from the pool of winners from the past 12 months. Sounds legit to me, and something of a cool prize. Although you'll have to find a color for that... perhaps something along the lines of this? Or this? Or this? Or at least this. It would be your choice.

 

I think that just seems like overkill. This forum and its most frequent posters change like the tides. UOTM is plenty prestigious on it's own and I feel as though a month long snapshot is far more accurate than looking at an entire year. HoF is a totally different category all together.

Hall of Fame is and should be the absolute most prestigious title CoDz has to offer. People who've made their mark on CoDz in numerous ways in their time spent as a whole thus far and have been recognized by staff unanimously for their efforts.

Yep, exactly as stated above. We don't want to turn the group into a UOTY. Have the additional input would force our hand and we don't want to add people in for the sake of adding people. Also it is very possible some of those users of the month may be eligible.

@Lenne I'll get to work on that for you. Odd request, but one douche user group coming right up.

 

Perhaps staff may consider doing a huddle for new people to be added to the "Hall of Fame" group annually? I think it would be a nice, fun little event to have some year-end awards (which I still need to do...) and wrap the year up with some kind of crowning of CoDz latest additions to HoF. 

 

We award UOTM each month, perhaps we could just save HoF promotions for the grand finale?

As long as it's kept prestigious enough that not too many people are being added, that's the only thing I can stress about Hall of Fame.

@MegaAfroMan All are defined. Legend or Hall of Fame as it is now called is staff appointed. We have a continuous discussion about additions to the group,but don't hand it out without a unanimous decision.

- Carbonfibah is the only person in this category. He founded CODZ back in 2008(?), and checks in when he can. Carbon worked as a Zombies QA at Treyarch on Call of Duty: Black Ops II.- Admin are more "long term"; every new feature, or change to the site has to be checked and cleared by them beforehand. The admin are usually more behind the scenes, but can be found around the forums. - Moderators operate with the "day to day"; keeping the community positive, dealing with spammers/problem users, and generally participating frequently across the forum & chat. If you have a question, comment or concern - then you'll want to direct it towards your friendly neighborhood moderator."Technical Support" - (didn't see the image) Technical support are our AI companions in staffing duties. They do automated tasks like welcoming new members with important information to dig into the forum, and conduct beta tests for new features & cool stuff. - When you see a "Hall of Famer", you are seeing an exceptional user who has added to CODZ in monumental ways. Each individual is different, and it's quite hard to sum it up in once sentence - but basically anyone with this title has brought excellence & progress to CODZ in the form of content, back end work, overall presence, and knowledge.- Veteran's have seen it all, been through their tour. They broke through to the other side, and often have stories to tell. Hm, so no color for being around for years? That might be a good one to add. Even though I've been on this account for only a year.

You could make yourself blue;) No current plans to recognize for time joined alone and personally don't see it happening at all. You could make legend status, but that would take some doing.

Honestly what I look forward to most is just discovering the secrets of the maps with friends. I even look back on Tranzit fondly as I had such an amazing time hunting for the ever allusive easter egg "continuation".
