  1. I cant see twitter here, but there are "achievements" posted now, that may or may not be legit.

this one got me to thinking though....

in tranzit we have the bus or fog.

in die rise will we have the elevators or stairs (with some PITA feature)?

  2. all I know it's with her newest update it really wrecked my solo game, faster/ better tracking zombies are doing me in!

See, the fact that they seem faster and seem to swipe faster doesn't bother me. That's a legitimate added challenge. TranZit Green Run is the easiest Zombies map ever... at least for me. You can run trains in front of Farm for days without even trying too hard. Something that adds legitimate difficulty is fine with me. I can adapt. The whole "dying zombies ending the round" thing wasn't making it more difficult in any way... it just made the game more tedious and boring because it takes even longer to get around the map now. And you're pushed into riding the bus around, which means standing around forever waiting for it, then getting on and standing at a window with a zombie on it, repairing it for 5 minutes. That's not difficult, it's just slow, boring, and tedious.

On tranzit it's not really a problem, yes training at farm i can do blindfolded and it's my favorite spot. i was more talking about solo depot, farm, town, it just seems harder to me, im not a pro though either :(

  3. i was playing solo survial on depot and got a ray gun, which i hate. but i noticed something though. on survival there is no spawn at all if you buy your 750 door and walk left toward the box then back on the side (where the navcard is in tranzit).

if you sit there with a ray gun and a decent secondary you can last a bunch of rounds cause they all come around the corner and walk over the lava, set themselves on fire, and with the ray gun and explosion splash damage it just decimates them. i screwed up trying to test the RPD a round later and went down with the slow reload, but the ray gun is fast enough to reload and spam fire and kill a horde for a few good rounds.

eta: also with NO perks at all, i was still able to hop over the lava to the side and escape and live.

  4. lol this is true, we had a 4p match going in tranzit and my friend had that m12 pap'd and all of a sudden he yells "guy come here watch this!" and he shoots a zombie and it just explodes down in the pap room, it was awesome.

  5. I really really like double tap II, it's usually always me second perk after Jugg, especially on Farm survival.

also in tranzit i had a pap'd remington shotgun with DTII and it was doing serious damage ripping zombies till round 22 or so....i know round 22 is weaksauce but i was impressed with the shotgun regardless.

  6. He's right; you can see very vividly through objects and walls. No hide and seek games here, friendo.

makes sense really. the games AI "knows" where you are all the time. although it seems improbable or very hard, a human could possibly get on a good break and duck in a corner where you as the zombies would have a hard time finding them.

  7. Anyone have ideas for a good town 4 player strategy?

A friend and I played last night on town, 4 player, survival. The 2 randoms had mic's and were actually pretty good and no-one quit out.

We made it to round 23 pretty easy, then made some mistakes and died out. Not to mention my wife and kids had just got home so it was a good time to stop anyway lol...

ANYWAY, does anyone have some tips or good strategys for running town survival in 4 players?

We were thinking the 2 better players with the best guns run big trains, one in the back toward the small bank door, and one in front of jug on the ground there (my spot). Have the other 2 people "float" and maybe make small trains if needed but also pick off zombies from our big trains.

I guess with a 4 player round, if going for high rounds we should have a medic with PAP'd knives?

    Thoughts, suggestions, bring it!

  8. I thought the same thing, i have asked before and never got an answer. Has anyone tried to sneak up on them, in 4 player, and knife all 4 at the same time before they wake up?

i asked that before and someone said there are more then 4, but i dont think that is right. i would have tried this myself but no one ever listens...lol

i doubt it's anything and has been tried, just a thought though.

  9. I usually only play Hard-Core. In HC I use almost exclusively the Type 25 with red dot and stock. It is powerful enough to take someone out with a short burst, even from range, and maneuvers nice.

Also in HC the FAL is a monster. You have to have good aim, but it is really good.

  10. i do pretty much what you guys are saying. in re: to the PAP room on tranzit. this is a great spot especially if you have a team of 4 good people with PAP'd weapons.

    1. person with best (biggest ammo) gun sits up top looking down the hallway toward the points withdrawal/deposit. should be able to hold that till round 25+ easy.

    2. person with weakest gun holds the first window once you get down there.

    3. person with 2nd best gun holds the long hallway pointing toward PAP machine.

    4. 4th person is a floater, looks both ways, stands in corner with PAP hall person, taking out zombies if someone gets heavy. also can take out avodgrado if he spawns down there

if you are ok on ammo and drops needed. you can kill the zombies in the window and board back up, this is a great strategy in high rounds IF you are good on ammo/drops. you get metal planks quick this way too which gives you more time.

if you run out of ammo you should have a jillion points, keep a crawler in a round when the bus comes, grab the br23 there and pap it. you are now the floater. OR go down and die on purpose, start the round with the m1911 and pap for mustang sally.

last round was getting hairy? keep a crawler and deposit your money. OR keep a crawler and have everyone go box wherever it is, come back and pap, then go to a better training spot. around round 20 or so we start thinking about leaving pap, getting setup, and going to our individual training spots.

  11. But honorable mention to outside Farm though. The PaP'd Remington owns there, especially with Double Tap 2. Your also making more money than your spending it on it's ammo which is good.

big +1 there, i keep a PAP'd remington in the fridge at all times. If i want to hold out it's at the farm with that weapon and double tap, it is a great combo plus unlimited ammo.

a friend and i held off in town last night till round 16 just sitting in back alley where the box spawns and shooting the zombies as they come. i did have a sldg hammr though...lol he had a ray gun.

i like farm and diner the most, at diner in early rounds if you have the mp5 and the shield on your back you can go 20+ rounds at the diner with no perks.

  12. or a mechanic very VERY much like the campaign mechanic where you can control the groups of soldiers, the little helicopter deals, the little agr's and all that

i thought it was annoying, but with zombies it could be wicked.

edit, damnit, i didnt realize they were called strike force missions.

so basically, i said what Flammenwerfer said above...like a newbasauruss

  13. production quality assistant or assurance. basically (i think) they test the games, find problems, bugs, glitches, report them to the devs and the devs fix them.

    i think.

eta: if you remember the movie "grandma's boy" i think those guys were basically production qa guys. they tested each level or map as it was made and reported their findings to the coder guy.
