  1. Yes. Any of the above. If you place the Egg before you begin the Rituals, do the Ritual before the Egg, or simply be there and have a Margwa Spawn (in Footlight District) and collect his heart. All of these will result in the Apothicon Servant being Kor-Maroth. I studied this for 3 weeks religiously, Back when SoE first released.
  2. So earlier today I was yet again searching on how to Upgrade this damn Apothicon Servant. At the time in the game I was Jackie "Fn" Vincent and I had the Kor-Maroth. Also I had gotten my *Ding*Ding*Ding*Ding* during my 4 Rituals. Eventually getting back to the point where the Gun is taken out of the box. So I had a crawler and walked the entire map, "Slowly" observing everything. When I got to the Canal District something began to catch my Eye. Something I hadn't seen anyone until now mention before. So I saw a bunch of these "Puddles" on the Ground in the Canal District. One of them caught my eye near the Arch-Ovum Circle. I immediately started looking for more. The first image is directly underneath of the RubyRabbit sign. Coincidentally everyone of these "Symbols"/"Puddles" I found were in the same exact spot as a Cocoon location. What do you guys think?!?!
  3. Just to elaborate a little on what @83457 was saying. As far as the names of the Apothicon Servant go, well it's rather complicated. See there are more than just one single variable that determines what the outcome of the name is going to be. Now the main factor is the District/Ritual. Depending on which Ritual you do first in your game will determine the outcome of the name. For example: Kor = Footlight Lor = Canals Mar = Waterfront Nar = Junction/Rift Now Another factor that goes into this is the Apothicon Egg. So depending on where you place the Egg first will determine the outcome of the Name. The "Egg" follows the same rule as the District/Rituals. The final factor in determining the outcome of the name is where you are when you kill & then pick-up the Margwa Heart. Once again the same rule applies here, which is the same as the "Egg" & "Ritual". Once you realize that K, L, M, & N are nothing more than Treyarchs way of saying A, B, C, & D or 1, 2, 3, & 4. You'll see that the answer was in the Opening Cinematic the whole time. Footlight, Canals, Waterfront, Junction/Rift. Hopefully this has helped clear up some of the lesser known things about the Apothicon Servant & where it gets its name from. TL;DR If you want to know how you got the name Mar-Astagua or Kor-Moroth then I have the answer you've been waiting for. It's simple, now that I've studied it as if it were an SAT. The answer lies within the Opening Cinematic. Kor = Footlight, Lor = Canals, Mar = Waterfront, & Nar = Junction/Rift.
  4. I stated over a month ago, with all the different variables that determine what the name ends up becoming. There was no doubt in my mind that there would be a separate Quest for each individual weapon. I'm right there with you. I definitely agree. Noice post!
  5. I do this on the XBone all the time. I've also been wondering once you acquire the Margwa Head, if the Traps did less damage to the player. Another thing that's weird, the other night I was messing around with the Traps in the mid 40s and they would chop off the Zombies Heads. However they didn't die, they kept on running after me until I killed them.
  6. @jross cway the *Ding is in reference to the Rituals. Which also happens to be linked to the Gateworms, the PaP wall, the PaP Room, and the PaP Ritual itself. Also I think there's a lot more prerequisites than just getting a couple audio quotes from the Apothicon Servant. @83457 Yea I can def agree with you about the Traps/Chains. Earlier I was listening and I didn't hear anything. Once I opened PaP I still didn't hear anything. Once I finally used the Trap in the PaP room now all of them are doing it. As for my thoughts on this. I believe what this may be, is an audio cue for when we need the Second heart for the second form of the Apothicon Servant. I don't believe that we will be able to upgrade the traps themselves, rather somehow kill/destroy one of the 8 hearts.
  7. I will try to snag a better image real fast.
  8. I'm not really sure. I just know that there are Times when I do the Rituals, once they started the Shadow Man would speak and that would be it. Now when I do them in a specific order he'll say something along the lines of "Here We Go" *Ding*. Now I'm not really sure the significance of it, but it would have to mean something. For him to go from "Your Sacrifice has been Chosen". To "Here We Go" *Ding*. Although I get that first quote with a *Ding* sometimes as well. You'll know it when you hear it. I also think the wall in PaP as well as the 4 Basins you place the Gateworms in to do the PaP Ritual. I think there's a specific order in which they must be placed determined in which order you picked them up in.
  9. Alright so I'm currently in the middle of another game. I just started Round 10 or the Elemental Round. Where you have nothing spawning in except for the Meatballs. As soon as the Round began, I immediately started placing the "Gateworms" in there basins. Once I had placed all 4 I went ahead and activated the Apothicon Rift Stone. So as I was kiting the Meatballs and Keepers around the entrance to PaP, I noticed that the Meatballs weren't really coming for me. I also kept hearing the "Screech" of a dying Keeper. As I turned around I shit you not the Meatball was attacking the Keepers. Almost as if one of its many mouths ate it. I''ve never heard anyone mention anything about this before. This is also the first time I've ever witnessed it myself. Now it could just be nothing but I'm not really sure what to think. I have done a few things differently this game compared to most. They are as follows. Bought Stamin-Up Round 2. Bought Jugg Round 3. Rode Tram Round 4 & got 3 Symbols. Round 5 collected all parts for Shield, Fuse Box, & Rituals. Round 6 "Parasite" Round, began Rituals in Canals *Ding* left Worm entered the "Rift" for the first time. Bought Widows Wine. Round 7 Footlight Ritual *Ding* left Worm. Round 8 Rift/Junction Ritual *Ding* left Worm. Round 9 Waterfront Ritual *Ding* Collected worms in reverse order. I never used a Rift while collecting the 4 Worms. Also I Collected the Apothicon Egg before I ended the Round. Round 10 "Elemental" Round. Placed Gateworms in basins starting on the Left then the 2 across the gap from left-right (when facing from entrance). Finally the one on the right. I figured this may help if anyone wanted to try and recreate this. If this is already known my apologies, as I've never seen any mention of it before. Do you think this is anything or; I just found it odd as I've also had "Parasites" kill the last zombie or 2 if I'm running around with them. TL;DR So basically as soon as Round 10 started it was the usual "Elemental" (Meatball) Round. Immediately I began placing the Gateworms to start the PaP Ritual. Once I activated the Apothicon Rift Stone. Instead of the Elementals attacking me and trying to kill me. They completely ignored me and were Attacking and killing the Keepers. Almost as if they were Eating/Consuming them with one of there many Mouths.
  10. So I'm in the middle of a game right now and I'm riding the Tram to get my Symbols and I buy the Bootlegger. Well I was standing there looking at it after I bought it & I noticed something peculiar. The initials R.K. on the slot where the magazine goes. I've never seen any mention of this before and I damn sure hadn't seen it myself, until now. My question to you guys is who is R.K. or more importantly, do you think this is even important. I know other weapons have there names and such on them but R.K. doesn't go with Bootlegger or Ein Stein.

  12. Ok guys so I just ran another game. This time I was Jackie "Fucking" Vincent once again. When I first started up the game I did my thing and headed to Footlight to get Jugg. I hit the box once while in the process and got the RayGun. Round 3. I proceeded to ride the Tram & get my 3 Symbols. I noted these and stopped in the Waterfront District. I opened everything here while leaving the Junction & Beast stairs closed. While here I decided, I'm going to go do this new "Noire" E.E. Now my screen is permanently Black & White. Round 4. I left the Waterfront and headed towards the Canal District. Here I collected my 3rd Fuse as well as my 3rd Shield part. Built my shield at this workbench. Headed towards the Rift. Now by this time I've gotten all the parts for the Rituals as well as the Fuse Box. The following Round was a Parasite Round. So Instead of just killing them all immediately, I turned into the "Beast" and consumed a few. Opened up the rest of the Rift area excluding the Sword Chamber. Then I decided I'm going to go ahead and do the Rituals. So I did. However I didn't pick up any of the Worms. I left them. I also completed all 4. Went back to the Rift and ended the Round. Now I just ran through the next few Rounds until the "Elemental" Round. Once this Round occurred I Turned into the "Beast" consumed a few, and opened the Sword Chamber. Grabbed the Egg and held onto it. The next phase of Rounds I summoned the Civil Protector in every District getting kills there the entire Round. Once this was completed, I went back into the Rift for the 3rd "Elemental" Round. This is the one where the Margwa Spawns in. This is when I began to collect the parts for the Apothicon Servant. I collected the Heart from this Margwa. I then started opening all the Pods to acquire the "Margwa Tail". I hadn't touched a Pod until this point. I also collected all the Worms and placed them in the Pedestals. I did not activate PaP. I gathered the Worms In this particular order. The same in which I completed the "Rituals" where I got the *Ding* all 4x, Footlight, Junction/Rift, Canals, & Waterfront. I finally got the Xenomatter and built the Apohicon Servant on Round 24-25. Beginning of a Parasite/Elemental Round. This is when I activated PaP. The following Round Filled the Apothicon Egg. I also activated the Civil Protector in each district once again. Once completed I traded out the A.S. for the Vesper. I placed the Egg & grabbed my Sword. I immediately killed with it. I ran some more Rounds, doing Various differentt things. Not of any importance. Anyhow I had accumulated around 150,000pts. Well I spent roughly 120,000 on the box and never did get it back. Unfortunately I ended up dying, and didnt get to test some things. I'm about to start up another game, except this time I'm leaving it in color. I dont suggest playing with it in B&W for very long. TL;DR A summary of the game I just played. This is now the second time I've spent well over 100,000pts, and didn't get the A.S. back. We're getting close boyyyys were getting close.
  13. I've got to agree with @The Clay Bird on this one. I mean really Treyarch your better than that. Making up some fake ass language you knew we wouldn't be able to solve/figure out. Just to acquire a core gameplay mechanic. This is something they should have done for the Main Side Quest/Easter Egg. Yea it's great they gave us a "Hint/Key" that pertain to certain words, but they didn't give us all of them. Even if we can figure out what the other symbols mean in "Apothicon" Language. Were still not going to have the English translation of said words. Honestly just look up the video for Battlefields Illuminati Easter Egg that was just solved. That thing is absolutely crazy. They all had to work together as a "Community" to try and figure it out. I believe that's what Treyarch were aiming for with this one. Only problem they didn't foresee was everyone worrying about their own personal gain from being the "First" to solve something. Because that's where this "Community" (none of you guys in here so don't take this personally) is at now, it's all about Me and nothing about what We can accomplish together. Everyone's on a massive Ego-Trip wanting to be the "First". When in all honesty no one really actually gives a shit. The very same day this is finally solved there will be over 1000 tutorials on YouTube. While barely any of us will remember who solved it first, or even care for that matter. Sorry for the Rant. Had to get it off my chest, and I'm a lot more comfortable talking to you guys than anywhere else. Don't mind me and my ramblings of a Mad-Man. Please no-one take any of this personally! TL;DR: Treyarch should have never made up a language to keep us from figuring out how to Upgrade the W.W. A core mechanic in zombies gameplay. I fell as if we were to work together as a Community, how Treyarch intended with this one. As opposed to us being only worried about ourselves than we probably could've solved this thing by now.
  14. I have not done the Easter Egg. This is why I believe it has something to do with upgrading the A.S. because you can get them w/out even starting the E.E./Side Quest. I've only just begun filling the Apothicon Eg to get the Lightning Sword. A lot of people including myself, believe the Easter Egg/Side Quest shouldn't have to be completed in order to Upgrade the W.W. Glad someone else can confirm them. I can assure you this is no lighting glitch.
  15. Yes, they are Red right now in the game I'm playing. Round 21. A.S. built = Kor-Maroth. I've got these perks. Stamin-Up, Jugg, Widows Wine, in that same order. I just started filling the Apothicon Egg & I'm Playing as Jackie "Fucking" Vincent. I completed the Rituals in this order, Footlight, Rift/Junction, Canals, Waterfront. Got the *Ding* on all 4 rituals. Placed the Worms on Round 15 after I had summoned the Civil Protector in every District. With the "Beast" I've eaten a Webbed Zombie, Parasite (LightningBug), Elemental (Meatball). While they were all Zapped. Tried the C.P. didn't work. I didn't harvest a single Pod, until they were all Purple. Once this occurred I opened every Pod in a single Round. I believe it was 12/13. I'm really starting to feel like you've got to get the Parasite "Lightning Bug" to Bomb Dive on the Red Spider drop. I keep hearing those damn "Coins" or "Chains" rattling. Here's why I say that. http://news.sciencemag.org/biology/2015/08/wasps-force-zombie-spiders-weave-cocoon-webs
  16. Well I know for a fact through coding the meatballs in the game are referred to as "Elemental". However it could also be pertaining to the elemental effect of the lightning sword, or the different elemental effects we get through double PaP. EDIT: Ok so looking at this guys, we've already done everything we were supposed tto up until his point. We've all gotten the "Ready to Upgrade Quote". Now here's the important part. ARBGWAOTH = POWER-UP. In the files the coding referees to the grenades From Widows Wine as Cocoons. However the "Power-Up Drops" are the Cocoons. There is something we must do with the "Spider Power-Up" that drops. I've had them go from Blue-Red. I honestly believe this is what were missing. Let's not try and make it anymore complicated.
  17. Whats the difference between an anagram & an aerogram.

I believe an aerogram is a lightweight paper message sent via air.

  18. Yea I know I was just saying. Treyarchs made us do some crazy things in the past. I wouldn't put anything past them.
  19. Do you not remember Die Rise. Didn't someone have to go down in the upside down room & be revived with the upgraded Ballistic Knife. Or am I just tripping.
  20. Markhor: Animal species. Nero does this look familiar.

    Mar - Snake

    K(h)or - Eater

  21. Wait so your invisible to zombies right now. Not sure I understand. Like there just not attacking you or what. Do you have the shield upgraded or no. Did you hoard them and the kill them while in the circle.
  22. @Cunambula No we didn't JUST discover this. I've talked about this over 3 weeks ago. To answer your question, Yes I've killed all 7 Margwa inside the Illuminated Circles, using nothing but the Sword. Nothing is changed. As far as "Steps" & "Purple" Keepers are concerned, none of this is proven to be a "Step" of any sort. I believe what's actually happening is nothing more than when you failed to "Capture" the Shadow Man on the first attempt during a Parasite Round. The Shadow Man gains control of the 4 Keepers who are now in a state of latency due to failing. THIS community is more driven by the Overall Story & Lore that is Zombies. Not everyone here is even remotely worried about how to Upgrade the A.S. must loan spending hours in end chasing their tail. If you actually took the time to read through some of the posts made by various people in no specific order. I can name quite a few without even having to think about it. @PINNAZ @MixMasterNut @Tac @Nightmare Voyager @Chopper @LiamFTWinter @MrRoflWaffles @Stop Mocking Me0 @DeathBringerZen @MysteryMachineX
  23. Ok fellas let's get back on track here. I know at the end of a Round after a certain point Nero always says the same quote "I must've achieved something today". This has got to mean we are on the right path. The characters never say the exact same quote at the end of every round and so specifically. @DrVonstool & Everyone else reading for that matter. Where do you stand in wether or not this can be failed to the point of no return. You & a vast majority of the regular guys/gals here. Seem to have a really good grasp on the storyline, E.E./Game Mechanics, as well as the game in general. Now I know they've never done this before, but with Jason Blundell overseeing everything now. More specifically the video he made where he said he was going to make an E.E. "Hard as Fuck" for lack of a better word. How do you feel? Could this be the reason no progress has been made? @83457 I'm like you I start analysing everything, which in return always seems to make me Over Analyze everything. But if you've gotta hunch, go for it. Prove yourself wrong, or prove us wrong (which would be awesome btw)! I just want to get this figured out. At the end of the day that's all that really matters right. My fears are with DLC Season fast approaching, are many players' focus is going to shift over to Der Eisendrache. Making SoE become irrelevant, especially now knowing the NO4 are going to be the playable characters (I assume), and we all know what happens when you start to assume.
  24. I believe it's by design. However with that being said, I also believe that's what caused the "Glitches" for us to be able to PaP the A.S. and to be able and make the Margwa stop spawning. Another thing I need to know. To anyone who read this I'm playing as Jessica (mind you I only use her & Nero). Anyway I just got this quote, "Give my regards to the Worms". Funny thing is, I haven't even messed with them yet. I've also never heard her say this before, EVER. Have any of you ever heard her say this quote?
  25. Ok so I'm going to throw my 2¢ in here. First and foremost, I believe (this is just my honest opinion) that this is the first time where we can actually fail at some point making it irreversible. My main reasoning for this is the "6 Margwa Hearts". Once we've shot those and acquired the "Margwa Head" we can no longer pick up items within the game. Also in the coding it has blah.. blah.. blah.. p7_zm_zod_margwa_ heart blah.. Margwa_shiny blah.. M_H. Now what I believe this is saying is once we do this if we haven't gotten to the point where we need it, then we're awarded the Margwa Head, instead of the Margwa Heart. I believe we'll actually need to do this once we're ready to build the second form of the Apothicon Servant. In order to acquire the 2nd Heart, will result in us Destroying the Margwa Hearts there-fore making it no longer spawn. Thus the reason we could "Glitch" it before it got patched, much like the A.S. @83457 I had made mention of this quite some time ago. In regards to being in the circle then it cutting off, once PaP was opened. Even if you had not already started the Sword Quest. What I did differently than you, was as follows. I went into my characters ritual site and got kills around the alter. Then i proceeded to the ring outside. However while I was playing I strictly used the A.S. no other weapon. Unfortunately I never got to test out every site because much like you I was in the 30+ area, late at night, and had probably been up for some time playing. @DrVonstool I can confirm everything you said about the Ring Glowing and recharging your Sword (I thought I mentioned it here but maybe not). Either way I've spent a lot of time in these makeshift ritual sites. I've stood in them long enough to make the "Sound" stop, except nothing changed. This very "Ring" wether activated or not is another reason I believe this may be the first time Treyarch have introduced a Side Quest/E.E. where we the player can actually fail. I don't understand why it would "Glow" the way it does even when we keep the Sword Chamber Closed. Must loan the way it "Illuminates" as you described. Which would make sense why there has been no further discovery in solving this F*****G "Unsolvable Puzzle".
