  1. I don't think it's a bug or glitch of any kind, or else it would probably do that on more than one wall. Perhaps because you couldn't do it with the starting pistol it can only be done with a weapon that has a weapon kit, as in it does more when certain attachments are put on certain weapons possibly. As anyone tried looking for EE's using specific variations of weapons yet since we do have the new weapon kit feature?

  2. So yesterday, someone sent me a message over PSN asking about something he found in theater mode on The Giant and said he couldn't find anyone else talking about it online. I was skeptical and didn't think there was anything left of significance on the map but he sent me a link to a video showing this. I don't know if this has been found already and deemed as nothing more than a minor hidden Easter egg but it's placement on the map is interesting considering it can only be seen via theater mode. It is located in the spawn window between where the hidden perk is and the gumball machine next to it by the first room.

Here is an image of what he found, all credit goes to craig-d-82 on PSN for finding this and showing it to me.image.thumb.png.ea77f52e7dbff45a1169a3e1

The issue with this is that some perks could greatly effect the game. Like take the giant, it's camping spot up on the catwalk is OP now, but imagine it with tombstone and vultures' aid. Between those two, you could have all perks, and constantly sit in a pit of filth to avoid zombies.

Certain maps are better suited for certain perks. You couldn't have PHD on die rise, you can't have tombstone in a small map (again), and you shouldn't have stamin-up on a map that's focused on verticle motion.

That being said some perks you NEED to have access to at all times. You can't waist 10,000 at the wonderfizz trying to get jug.

Juggernog, and Quick revive would fallow this rule.

So, in the wonderfizz it could contain -Mule kick, -Electric Cherry, -Speed cola, -Double tap, and deadshot, on any given map. Other perks could serve to be an issue if augmented into the wrong maps.

I get what you're saying, what I'm wanting is just a little more variety when in comes to perks for maps. Origins had the most perks on one map if I recall correctly, and because of that (or wunderfizz directly) I could run a few different perk setups that all worked equally as well for me. I'm fine with some perks not being included on every map for reasons as you illustrated above, but most are still applicable to just about every map.

  4. I miss Electric Cherry and Phd Flopper so much. I wouldn't mind seeing them return in Der Wunderfizz if that's the only way they can. Honestly I think they should just have a set of standard perks (old and new) on the DLC maps and have Wunderfizz contain pretty much every other perk to date. Except Whos who, that one can stay in BO2.

Seriously guys this post is about your inferences on the Iron Dragon, please take this discussion to another post because it really really is going off topic. This isn't the WW thread that already exists.

I genuinely thought this was a different thread, I think I meant to post in a different one and somehow posted here. My apologies for that.

  6. I think we'll get one zombie map in the first 3, and then like Rezurection get 4 for the final one. My guess is it will include a remake or two, the "main" map, and another one-off (maybe finishing the N4's story?) or something besides a map for zombies. I too find it hard to believe with the hype they built for zombies this time around that we won't even get at least as many maps as BO1 had. Hell I'll even just take 2 maps in the final one, as long as we get more than one in at least one of the DLCs.

  7. @NaBrZHunter the science of the meatballs is they probably wanted to work in another enemy variant and in the essence of time used the coding for RAPS from multiplayer and slapped a new skin on them. In-game science? Because Cthulu that's why.

I must say though I actually prefer the meatballs over Hellhounds because Hellhounds are easy, and always have been. The Meatballs proved to be my demise for many of the first couple of matched in SoE, and I still come dangerously close to getting downed by them every now and then. Unlike Hellhounds which haven't downed me legitimately since I can't even remember when. Story wise I find Hellhounds to be more fascinating because I know the story behind them, but I always breath a sigh of relief when I see them because all they are to me now are just a delayed max ammo. Meatballs make me anxious, and the sight of them are a little more freaky than even an undead dog on fire. Also The Giant was a huge missed opportunity to not have Fluffy spawn in as a boss every now and then or as part of an EE.

I also agree with SMM in the above post in that there is story attached to these things in SoE. We just haven't found it yet, but also doesn't even exist in the same universe as the one we've been following and incrementally founding out about more of in each map. One in which Fluffy and her spawn exist and not the one SoE takes place in. We had no idea what the deal was with Hellhounds in SNN until Der Riese came out later. Though I doubt we'll get anymore maps in the world of SoE in my personal opinion.

I for one, find all those weapons to be relatively believable. The staves have focused crystals on the inside that power them, oddly enough this isn't the strangest kind of artifact we've seen throughout the games.

For those who've seen "The Librarian" You'll love the floating sword that fights beside you.

The blundergat was the most believable wonder weapon ever. It was just a really powerful shotgun. Where as the acid gat was also quite believable when you put into context that there's a grand evil controlling the world that makes the rules.

Now, I'm not say we should never see some of these weapons again, after all, I'd kill to see the wave-gun again. But we JUST saw the wonder waffe. The best thing to do, IMO, would be to do what COTD did again, multiple wonder weapons, one of which is an older returning one unlocked via easter egg.

This is what I would prefer. A new WW available via box or crafting, doesn't really matter which, and a classic one received after completing either the EE or some sort of side quest (i.e. killing George in CotD).

I stopped taking believability into account a long time ago when hellhounds came running, toxic crawlers teleported, monkeys fell from the sky and we kicked ass on the Moon. I love that they're embracing the more fantastical elements of zombies imo.

  9. For the past several years everything has dropped on the PSN store on Tuesdays around 4pm EST, with the exception of most game releases of course. In previous cod games DLC always dropped on Tuesday. Even though the game launched on a Friday I see no reason for them to release the new DLC on a Friday as well. Plus I have always kind of assumed DLC digital distribution for PS content has been up to Sony who's always done the same thing. It's not impossible I guess but I find it to be rather unlikely.

What about the Sparrow? Castles were usually armed with soldiers wielding bows and crossbows, so the Sparrow would fit in well.

I can't believe I didn't think of this. The medieval theme of the map and a bow goes hand in hand. I'm willing to bet my firstborn that the Sparrow will see it's way into the next zombies map now. I would like to see some sort of elemental power up integrated into it for zombies though, like fire or ice.

That railgun thing was awesome, that or something like it in zombies would be pretty insane. You are right about C4 too, I have always wanted it in zombies because it seems like it would work so well.

Considering how I always wanted a tomahawk in zombies but wasn't sure how they could incorporate it in and they then proceeded to do so in a way that is now one of my favorite zombie weapons ever, I would love to see what they could do with C4. I imagine it as being similar to Matryshka dolls (I doubt I spelled that right) but obviously with the ability to manually detonate it.

  12. Dire wolves? HELL YES! I wouldn't even care that they would probably just be a re-skin of hell hounds, that would just be amazing.

And your point about the rocket base is interesting, because that seemed like a long ways away to hike by foot. I bet it will be like the Golden Gate bridge from MotD, which also appeared faintly in the background of the little thumbnail for MotD in the DLC poster if I recall correctly. I would prefer a teleporter because that just seems like it would fit the zombies setting here for this map but some other form of transportation could be cool too. As long as it's not a bus.

  13. If there is a dragon, I would imagine it to be a mechanical one given that it's called The Iron Dragon. I would love to see a dragon in a zombies map for an epic boss fight, but Die Rise crushed that hope for me. If they did finally include one though then I would love to see it as a massive beast that has an insane amount of health but doesn't actually come back after killing it, and instead grants access to the WW somehow or something like that. Judging by the picture the map looks to be fairly huge so I think it could certainly support the inclusion of one.

But since I'm skeptical about their being one at all I would postulate that it's actually some sort of ancient machine or weapon buried deep within the castle that we discover/go looking for. That or it's the name of that rocket hidden in the back there. It sounds like the name of a weapon to me, like some kind of war machine.

  14. I feel like this could've been a better map to have a sword in personally, just fits a little better. I would say that judging by what appears to be the theme of the map it will either be a fire based weapon or an ice one, but both of the previous special weapons for the game so far don't really "fit" into their respective maps themewise. Swords kind of but if you compare it to the WW, the WW fits the theme of SoE much better. So for this map, all I can guess is that it will be based off of one of the specialist weapons and I really really hope it's the scythe.
