As of 1:30 here in Indiana there is no Escalation in the Playstation Store which is now up, of course Call of the Dead is what I'm concerned about. It was May 3rd for the 360 (which I played thoroughly on a borrowed 360), which was a Thursday, of course Treyarch's site is useless and I can't even find out if it actually released for PC. I assumed it would come out when the Store came back up but now it's up before the expected release date. Considering Treyarch is involved, doesn't even put monkey bombs, gerschs, or an alternative into Call of the Dead, but keeps the Matryoshka Dolls, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get it tomorrow, but that's just optimistic pessimism.

They never announced the date it came out for PSN, so don't go hating on treyarch or anything. Blame hackers instead..

Yeah I'd love a katana, but I do want to know how exactly he got captured by 935 also.

Also, I just would like to point out that Richtofen is most likely to die at the end of the story. He is trying to take over the world after all, and the rest of the crew will have to stop him.

I hope that Takio is dropped, I hate playing as him because his dialogue sucks compared to the other characters.

So... you hope he dies because his lines are bad? That is the worst reason to kill someone ever. Plus, he could be a badass. He also chopped the tails off of kittens! (If you couldn't tell, I hate cats)

Takeo is the best chracter for one reason only. The guy who voices him is Frank Oz who also voiced Yoda in Star Wars. HOW F*****G AWESOME IS THAT!!!

The poems are indeed from Verruckt according to the Terminal. The CoTD rados never talk about sending the entire group anywhere. It says they sent a spy somewhere, but never the original characters. All it says is that Richtofen has the original characters and are experimenting on them.

I should rephrase the sending thing, I mean't to say that the group was never at verruckt, and that they were all most likely sent to Der Riese from where they were captured.

Now, the OG gang was captured in verruckt, where they began the multitude of tests on them to turn them into data servants. There were also the four marines that dempsey went in with, including Smokey and John according to the terminal. John would later prove to be the soul survivor of the outbreak and live a normal life before being killed by the CIA during the dead drop. Once the russians began their march to Berlin, Richtofen knew that he need to get him experiments out of the city before the russians got to them, so he unleashed the zombies upon the asylum, causing a diversion so that he could free his experiments and alowed them to escape. The four would go seperate ways before the signel from the comms hut in Shi No Numa would drag them back together to save Richtofen after using his plan to draw Peter in and trap him, resulting in Richtofen himself being trapped in the doctor's hut.

NDT seems more complicated. It seems as if the mood is much darker then the others, added to by the song undone going off after shooting the barrels. Seeing as the opening page shows someone teleporting in, I'd say that the reason the OG maps have not been released yet is because the second NDT is supposted to be the gang's final stand in an attempt to go so back into the future that they could stop the outbreak before it even began.

You have alot of this wrong, no offence. The only one of the group ever at Verruckt was Dempsey, who was captured along with his surviving unit (John and one other, smokey died apparently). I think the CIA actually took those poems from Verruckt, they never killed John. I also don't think Richtofen signaled anyone, he was just at Shi no numa, looking for something. I have no clue about NDU at this point, but I doubt it's the groups last stand. Also, pretty sure the group were sent to Der Riese during the experiment, as they clearly say that there was a raid at Verruckt in the CotD radios, and that the survivors were being sent somewhere else. I don't think you've really heard the CotD radios, because there were a few errors there.

If it really does have to do with the story, I must say that it would be very stupid, and the story would just get too complicated. Its complicated enough as it is.

I asked Richtofen when I read this and he said that he remembered hearing a thumping noise back when we were at the cinema. Maybe someone was talking on LIVE at the time? Or you were listening to music at the time.

-Dempsey and the group don't belong

-modern weapons

-the thundergun and monkeys shouldn't be here!

Verruckt-

-sprinters are gone, thus making it less hard and not as fun

-again, the group shouldn't be here, except Dempsey

-modern weapons still suck

-why is the winter's howl here?

SNN-

-the Japanese zombies have the same faces as the Nazi and American zombies. Seems silly since the japanese look much different

-I still freakin hate the modern weapons

-Takeo didn't have a moustache then... why does he have one there now?

Der Riese-

-Except for the modern weapons, I like this map the best out of the improved maps. Good thing since I hate the WaW version of this map

-Bowie knife is a 1 hit kill to 9, not 11 like it was in the original.

I kinda think Groom lake or moon would seem a bit too sci-fi to me. Area 51 would seem a bit cliche, but as long as it doesn't have aliens I'll be alright with it. The moon though, well that's just silly. Why bother going to the moon anyways? The zombies can't go down to earth (monkeys are exceptions, but they're smarter than normal zombies ironically) so where's the threat?

I hope it isn't Paris.. I don't like France, but that isn't the only reason. It just doesnt feel like it fits in anywhere. I'd like another jungle type of map, simply because Shi no Numa's atmosphere made it seem better to me. England would be good too... but I just wonder, where it would be? The lighthouse was already used.

Advanced Warfare.. not sure I like it. Same reason I think Halo is overrated, it's the future. I don't want futuristic warfare, I want Modern Warfare or earlier.

Wait.. ascension occurs years after five, the phones don't mean anything. I'm sure Five is linked to the story, because of the phone calls, but I'm thinking they're just recordings.

not that much stuff tho, we can tell Dempsey is a badass i personally think Richtofens cool, i like Nikolia too but Takeo doesn't really stuff thats funny or stupid he just says "for the emporer", and stuff about honor. really your killing zombies who cares about honor, he isnt interesting enough too mention in most zombie conversastions. i cant be the only one who feels that way

He talks about honor because it's his heritage, and the way japanese acted back then. I think he could've been made funnier tbh, but as I said he could be a badass, and that is all that really matters. Nikolai, though awesome, is just a drunk and probably wont fight the greatest. We need a motion cap trailer with our 4 characters to really prove anything though. Also, killing someone off just because they arn't funny is kind of cruel isn't it?

So? How do we know Takeo isn't a badass or something? We can't really tell because we're playing as him, but he could actually be a big part of the group. And he has said things of meaning, such as the killing Richtofen line.

He was a torturer, unlike Takeo who was actually in the war. In saying that, if Richtofen had the DG-2 he would probably beat Takeo instantly.

If we kill off Takeo we would never get to see the Epic showdown of him killing Edward!

Some people say time travel. I say it's just for fun. I just dont think it fits with the story anyways. Besides, modern weapons come out of the box in nacht, which makes no sense.
