Call of Duty: Mobile Battle Royale map revealed

The Call of Duty: Mobile game beta testing continues on Android in select regions only as Activision gears up to bring Call of Duty to Mobile as a free to play title on iOS and Android this year.

As we mentioned last week, the Mobile game will feature three modes — Multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Royale.

Today, some users are reporting that Activision has opened up some testing of the Battle Royale mode in the Mobile game and now we have our first look at the map for the mode — which is different than Blackout. This map actually combines Modern Warfare and Black Ops locations into one Battle Royale mode for the Call of Duty: Mobile game, including areas like Crash, Estate, Standoff, and more.

    Here’s the map:

Some users are reporting that the Battle Royale is still in an early developmental state experiencing some issues while playing, but that is expected with the beta version of this game as it gears up for launch later this year.

The Call of Duty: Mobile game is developed by Tencent’s TIMI studio and published by Activision. It will be available later this year for free on iOS and Android.

Amidst the dark and eerie night
A choice to make – to run or fight?
      The undead horde approaches fast
Armed with weapons, till the very last
In Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies
The battle for survival never ceases
A test of skill, courage and wits
As waves of zombies just never quits
Blood-soaked grounds and a burning sky
The stakes are high, the danger nigh
But in this game, we rise above
To conquer the undead with brute, tough love
With finger on the trigger and heart in hand
We face the terror, and take a stand
For in this game, we live or die
With Call of Duty: World at War - Zombies, we must survive.

and later released worldwide on December 14, 2011.
The game features the same gameplay mechanics as its predecessor, with players fighting off waves of zombies as they try to survive for as long as possible. The game also includes a new storyline set in a Cold War-era Pentagon, with the characters from the original Zombies mode returning to fight off the undead.
The game allows for up to four players to play together via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and also includes a single-player mode with a new leaderboard system to track high scores.
Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies received mixed reviews upon release, with critics praising the game's addictive gameplay and multiplayer functionality, but criticizing the graphics and lack of content compared to the console versions of the game. Despite this, the game was a commercial success, with over a million downloads in its first week of release.

    • Bloober Team has two unannounced projects in the works: "Project C", a brand-new IP being developed in partnership with Take-Two Interactive, and "Project R", a 2025 release based on a Skybound Entertainment IP, the entertainment company owned by The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman. Right now, Bloober is keeping the details close to its chest, but its recent annual report – as translated by @pl_evil – reveals just a little of the studio's plans as it wraps up the development of Silent Hill 2 Remake. "Project C, which we are working on together with Private Division (Take-Two Interactive), is currently well advanced, and we are very pleased with the current progress," Bloober said in its annual report. • WWE 2K24 has unbanned modder WhatsTheStatus following complaints from its community. WhatsTheStatus - who was banned last week for "violation of terms" - revealed on Twitter/X that, after speaking with 2K and the WWE team, they had "come to an agreement, and a fair one at that". Originally, 2K and/or developer Visual Concepts was unhappy with WhatsTheStatus' mods, saying that as they "negatively impact the game experience for other players", the modder was banned in order to ensure there is a "positive WWE 2K24 experience for all players".
