Tower in Buried?

Isn't there a tower at the start of the map? After doing the EE does it light up like the others or does the indications on which side you pick are basically a red tint for maxis and him being the announcer and for Richtofen Samuel having blue flickering eyes?

Also do you have to put the nav card from Die rise in buried table and then take buried's to green run and link it all before beginning eithe side of the egg or after finishing?
