~Mob of the Dead: WHO IS IN CONTROL?~

Recommended Posts

Watching the trailers, I'm sure everyone has noticed the mystery box light and the zombies' eyes are red. When the crew picks up the Max Ammo, the demonic announcer says it like Samantha, not Richtofen. It would make sense, this map was announced to take place in the 1930's, before Richtofen had a chance to enter the aether, bringing us to our new crew from Tranzit in the 21st century.

Then why are the zombies' eyes red and not yellow like in WaW, Black Ops 1 and Nuketown Zombies when Samantha was in control? My theory is, this map takes place before Samantha even entered the Aether, and whoever's controlling the zombies are before Samantha or Richtofen. May be a stretch, but I can see it being possible that whoever could be in control of the zombies in 1930 could also be the Greater Force that are the "the voices". Again, just a stretch, but I do think whoever could be in control of the zombies is before Samantha (correct me if I'm wrong so I can make an edit, but in 1943 learned from the Nacht der Untoten loading screen in BO1?) and Richtofen who gained control after Samantha.

Any thoughts?

I'd have to agree, this seems about right. One thing I'd like to point out here is that the Water Tower seen on Alcatraz in the Behind the Scenes trailer was built in 1941, so obviously our map takes place sometime after that.

All in all this seems solid.
