Can someone clarify this

I'm not sure what piece this is that I picked up in tranzit a couple days ago. I have built all 4 equipment, and am pretty sure this part is not used in the Easter egg. But it might, I have never done the Easter egg so sorry if it is.

Bt the piece that I picked up looked like a Black power box with 3 yellow rectangular buttons on the upper portion on the item. I don't really know how else to describe it, it was very simple. I just don't know what it is used for.
