Nacht der untoten Red antennae?

Does anyone know what this is there for? Is it on the MP map Airfield? I find the red light to be more bright on black ops than on WaW. If i spelt it wrong in the title, im talking about the pole on the roof of nacht der untoten with a red light on.

I've stuck it with crossbow grenades and launched rockets of it..

Anyone know if it does anything?

Shi No Numa has a high tower with a glowing red light over the comm room. I think it's for radio, as if the Nachters were trying to contact people.

Just been on Nacht on WaW and noticed a second antennae! Its probably already been found but i've never seen it, above the back window in the spawn room! I've never seen the Shi no numa one, then again i don't really play it and i very rarely go to the comm room unless jug/box is there. Or if i want to turn the music on.

I think that the bunker that we stay in in Nacht der Untoten is a Comms Bunker, that is my personal thoughts on why the antennae's are there.
