Where on the globe is it?

When I type in Shangri-La on google translate it says Indonesian detected. Is this right?

And didn't someone say there are Japanese symbols on those turning things.

btw if you look out of the map on Shangri La on the bridge they use the same graphics at the bottom of the waterfall as there are on the Crash Site mission, where you see a waterfall with a little stream, but it can't be in Laos can it?

It's in the Himilaya Mountains.
