so when does kino take place?

this has confused me for so long. when does it take place? if there are nazi flags up, why is there a VW bus from the 60's and the Berlin wall outside? IMO the only explanation is that Edward changed the course of history somehow, most likely by teleporting Maxis and Sam.

well considering factors like the van, the berlin wall, and the unfinished television tower, which was finished in 1969, it can be assumed the kino takes place in 1968 in west berlin. im guessing that the theater has just been untouched for awhie, and that they are in normal reality

but howcome when you start playing it shows the comic strip and in the bottom left corner it shows the years 1975 and what not?

im guessing it just show random years like most cartoons and other things do when characters use a time machine

it did send them in time, just not to 1975
