What is so good about this gun. I used it and ether the zombie hit me (even though i had Jug) and i shot and i died. Second chance didnt revive me and yeah, i still died. FML

Are you sure you weren't using the regular Winter's Howl? It's still a good gun, but it stops killing zombies between rounds 10-15 (don't know exact round) and it just slows them down. Although, i don't really understand very clearly what happened. You're saying a zombie hit you once, you shot the Winter's Fury at it, and you went down while second chance didn't revive you (I'm assuming you were doing solo)

Unless you can help clarify for me, sounds like a glitch?

its like the wunderwaffle nd ray gun, if u shoot a zombie thats tooclose it hits and hurts you, so if u got whacked and then shot a zombie right in front of you ur gunna go down.

If you camp in the PAP room, one on each window then you have someone with an LMG being the main gunner in the corridor being assisted by someone with the Winter's Howl.

Winter's fury is more of a tactical gun, helps give you time to revive someone etc..

I was using Winter's Fury today for the first time. It was really good until like Round 12. Then the zombies came out of their frozen state pretty quickly.

I just played a match where one of my teammates got it. It was great for keeping the scientist away and was great for helping hold down the door to the Pack-a-Punch room where we were camping. He would occasionally, spray the mob of zombies when me and another guy were holding them off with Pack-a-Punched LMGs and a PaP'd ray gun. We got to round 18 till one guy, who was holding one of the windows in the room, had his controller die.

winter's fury has a bigger clip, higher resserve ammo, and larger 'freeze' radius. the frozen zombies can be shattered when shot, so make sure someone with a decent gun is near you when your freezing.
