Don't forget they have another desire, death. As Nightmare referenced in his post, Shino Numa's song states their mental state, there has to be the slightest shred of humanity in there, but outweighed by the control of Samantha/Richtofen.

So yes, I still play around with the iOS version-especially the unpatched wall breach beside Speed Cola. When the game runs out of challenges...why not try to survive the game construction itself, instead of the zombies? 

But all that aside, back in the legal zone, I found the following-dunno if we've seen this before, though I would be shocked if we haven't, it's kinda right out in the open. Thoughts?

I am not a fan of the theory that Maxis is reconstructing the O4, or that WWII Group 935 is his reinvention of WWI Group 935, but this piqued my interest.

Late arrival on this post, but a point of observation:

Someone was arguing that Eddy is Samantha's brother or relation. Just want to mention that in the cutscene, he refers to Maxis as "your dad." Food for thought. "We better do what your dad says."

Also, someone mentioned briefly the comic book idea. I have never encountered it since, but once upon a time, while playing as Dempsey during a game of Origins, he said, as I ran under the bridge going to Speed Cola/Giant's footprint, "This looks familiar. Like I've seen it in a comic book." 

I am not an advocate of the idea that Weasle wrote the whole thing. Just more food for thought.

One more note-the siren (as y'all probably know) is the same as the one that constantly plays at Der Riese, during Nuketown, and in the Der Riese radio that @Dub Zee was discussing.

Enough off topic, however. I just finished reading this thread and wanted to make some clarifying/additionally perplexing observations.

I don't think more Element 115 has anymore harm to the zombies. But then again we don't know the creation process for Nova6 and Denizens zombies which all feature human like features.

 

 

 

We know that Samantha, Nikolai, Dempsey and Takeo were all been experiment by Richtofen. Maxis was always around Element 115 and already noticed side effects. Maybe Richtofen was able to create serium that allowed people to go trough the portals which he also gave to the Group 935 employs who sided with him on betrayal of Maxis and worked on The Griffin Station. Maxis didn't have that so he lost his body but because of Element 115 his soul/consciousness managed to stay intact into the Aether. Maybe?

But was Richtofen not affected in the long term? It may be true that his sanity declined following his initial contact with the MPD, but there is no mention of an antidote yet, if I'm not mistaken, and mental instability is a known side effect of 115, a trait which everyone from Maxis, Richtofen, Dempsey, etc, to even Samuel Stuhlinger displays. As @ pointed out in one of his threads, 115 reanimates dead and compromises living cells.

Personally, I think that's a great point.

Now, I disagree that we are travelling through the air near the speed of light and that's what's allowing us to time travel. Using the hourglass example above, I believe that the absolute zero point mentioned is us actually traveling through another dimension, which we all call Aether. The time travel is occurring because we are actually traveling through a wormhole. As far as evidence to back this up, one in particular is on Der Riese, where the words "Return Through Aether" in the image below is written on the wall. I believe this is referencing the teleporters and that we are going through Aether.

I like the analogy...though after writing this rant, I must disagree. It brings to mind the basic concept of a shortcut, in which an object can maintain speed, and technically, direction (perhaps, more precisely, especially in regards to space/time, destination), while utilizing an alternate terrain, or in this case, space/time plane, aka, the Aether. Now, I propose, that unlike Agartha, the Aether is not necessarily an alternate dimension, but rather an alternate plane. We begin to get the picture if we envision real space/time as a coil (which would better explain the rotating teleporter graphics and the electrical properties of a teleporter-I like how spellcheck doesn't recognize teleporter"), so yes, a coil, with this plane "the Aether" acting as a rotating axis, perhaps powering or "gravitating" space/time in this pattern like an electromagnetic pole. 

This theory neither breaks down cell structures, destroys or creates matter, yet maintains the teleported object's velocity without annihilating the object due to it exceeding the speed of light, one of these processes Maxis may have been attempting, as his attempts at teleportation were so far behind Richtofen's, who realized the concept of the Aether. 

As a note, I will argue against retrospective time travel. As someone on this forum once observed, (I would credit, but I don't recall-it may have been MysteryMachineX-the fullest extent of retrospective time travel is limited to the first use of said time travel, as a "timestamp" if you will, not unlike the time bomb from buried.

Hopefully this isn't too far off topic, but your suggestion brought to mind a question I've had in regards to Samantha's reign in conjunction with the map timeline. Do we currently have a date for the Original 4's timeat Der Riese, Shi No Numa and Verruckt? Is it not true that Samantha appears to be in power, between the announcer voice and the Der Riese easter eggs? This is of particular interest to me, because in September 1945, Samantha and Maxis were presumably still running around between Der Riese and Kino. Thoughts, anyone? And if this is too off topic, just confirm and I'll take it to another thread.

A few days late on Nacht, guys, but if you recall, Nacht was the airfield section of the campaign in WAW, if that tells us anything. I'll go back and play it and report back.

Not to jump ahead of the topic, but I want to ask y'all's thoughts on the timeline. Is it merely because of the re-release that the Black Ops Verruckt occurs in September of 1945 as well? Basically, what I'm wanting to call attention to is this:

September 2nd, 1945: (Japan surrenders, ending WWII) [FACT]

September 10, 1945: Marines trapped in Verruckt [FACT]

Just joined today, and looking through other recent introductions, saying howdy, and had to say, your list was spot on for me. Actually the married, one daughter part was right too, except my little one is still inbound.

I discovered CODZ on WAW iOS, oddly enough, and when Der Riese was no longer difficult, I left a crawler and began wandering around knifing and shooting objects....and stumbled across the radios. I've been a fanatic ever since, drawing theories, subscribed to Treyarch and Treyarch devs, and researching WWII, Nazi and Cold War tech and history, myths, legends, and not least of all, avidly reading CODZombies forums. I have (as would hopefully be expected) played on every CODZ map, with the exception of the DS release. ;-)

I look forward to interacting with y'all, presenting theories, thoughts, and receiving and offering feedback.
