  1. The story is really what sealed the deal for me. When I first heard about how people figured out that the numbers on SNN apparently were coordinates for Area 51, then finding "Tunguska" written on a shack that's normally not seen without cheats, it really spiced up thew wonders of it all. But here's where even that has a line of its own;

I loved zombies more when it was more cryptic and the storyline was based on or at least referred to a lot of real historical myths and legends. Everything from WaW - Blops was very cryptic, very scattered and mysterious. I loved that. I remember getting excited every time I'd discover a new radio on my own, then skim the forums to see if I've found them all. Then after Blops 1, everything kinda took a left turn and it was all just handed to you. "Easter Eggs" became "Objectives" and the direction for the supposed storyline just got really complicated and farfetched IMO.

But, I digress. I think it's a comfortable mixture of both, but I'd like to see some more variety to really spice up the gameplay itself. Sure, in some maps the perks spawn randomly and the box moves, but more or less it's the same thing, over and over. I quickly lose enjoyment after I've completed the EE just because there's really no other point other than to break survival records afterwords. If they could go the extra mile and have more extensive randomness to the maps each playthrough, it would have a way higher replay value for me personally.

I agree. While BO2 went extremely well with new gameplay features - something I enjoyed, the story wasn't where it needed to be. It moved too slowly, wasn't cryptic with tons of mini-ee's, and like you said, no historical/conspiracy/myth stuff involved.

  2. Now you just need a "word that must not be said" affilation. All the special deals on the latest "Banned word" ware.

It would be so hilarious if CoDz got so broke that they needed to partner up with the k-i-t-(-h-3=n spammers lol, like having cabinet adds on the screen and deluxe fridge deals

  3.

And speedo, people have bigger things to worry about then the next game if they can't afford a 500$ device and 60$ game…

That may sound mean, but if they honestly can't get by after 3 years with no way to afford it, they don't NEED to be waisting money one a game…. Bit cruel but that's the way of capitalism: Get what you need, so you can then get what you want.

I get what you're saying, however, most of COD's players, at least from my experience, are either kids or teenagers. Many of them can't afford a One with their Christmas or Birthday budget, and sometimes jobs aren't even enough, if they are available for the kid.

  4. First off, I will reply to the fact that you said that BO2 was a bad game. It wasn't. The story, and lack of hidden things such as radios and general tiny EE's wasn't too great, but actual gameplay was fantastic. I really enjoyed it, and the gameplay is all a new console will really change.

I agree with the others, I think they'll probably still make 360/PS3 versions, because the market is too big. I know TONS of people not interested in getting a ONE/PS4 when they just got a 360 last year or the year before, plus many people just can't afford it. As one member said, it's also like 1K in some countries. I think those players will play the 360 version instead of forking over 1,060$ just to play a game. Activision LOVES $$$, and there's a LOT of that to be made in the 360 market, which let me remind you includes a large percentage of low-income players who can't afford a new console.

HOWEVER, I don't think this will hold the game back. As Advanced Warfare is said to be using an almost-completely new engine, I think the gameplay will be amazing. Plus, there is also the fact that another studio will most likely be porting it over, so 360/PS3 players can expect less features and overall not as good of an experience. Not saying a bad experience, but it'll be like the difference between PC and console Minecraft. Making it an incentive for fans to upgrade, but not ruining it for last-gen players either.

Maybe they'll be like GTA 5's upgraded version. Not all the DLC, less features, not as good graphics, you get the point.

I get the thing you mentioned about making players want to upgrade, I am upgrading this Christmas to finally play Dead Rising 3, but not everyone makes as much money as my family, or even wants to for one game.

  5. @
While I may not have stated it the best, I tend to not be too good at that lol, I am not a homophobe. As others above have said, there are just certain situations that I don't feel too comfortable during, but I'm still great friends with those people, and they understand it. Maybe it's that way with me because I (believe it or not) tend to be real shy about certain things, like speaking to adults for some odd reason. But don't think I'm some hateful person, I'm all for their rights and all that, I just don't feel comfortable in certain situations, but that's it.

  6. I have a few gay friends, and I'm fine with them marrying because our nation IS NOT A THEOCRACY, however, I hate the media shoving it down our throats and treating people like their assholes because they don't agree with it. As long as people aren't bullying or otherwise doing shit like that, I don't see how them not agreeing with something makes them an ass.

Also, I don't feel comfortable using the same restroom or, say it was a Boy Scouts trip (I'm not in the Boy Scouts btw, just an example) I wouldn't feel comfortable sleeping in the same tent. Why? It's the same reason young girls don't sleep with young boys, someone could like someone, and that's sorta odd. I'm fine eating at resturarants, playing xbox, all other things with them though.

I also feel like with the sudden HUGE rise of gay people, not all of them are gay. Many celebrities see financial incentives behind it, and alas, say they're something for money. Also, while it is immature, I hate seeing gay people and the media freak out over using the words "fag" or "gay" to describe something negative. Look, people usually don't use them to describe gay people, at least in my culture. We use it for other purposes.

But I don't get why some people get so radical against gays. More men/women for you ;)

  7. Well, today I connected a 3-year old Gamestop trade-in card I found online, and decided to get 3$ credit on the Xbox marketplace.

    However,

I am torn between what to purchase with it.

The items I am torn between:

    • GTA V Shark Card: I am currently broke, and $100,000 would help out, however, it is only 100 K, and once it's used up, it's gone. It'd also use up all my money.
    • BO2 Extra Slots Pack: This would allow for 20 more emblems, 32 more films, and 40 more screenshots, plus I'd still have a dollar left. It also has 10 create-a-class extras, but I don't ever actually play MP anyways so it wouldn't help me there lol. But I love making emblems, films, and screenshots.
    • BO2 Afterlife Pack: I'd also keep a dollar in this one, and it is a cool zombies pack so I could make my calling card and gun look good. However, I only play MP to screw around, so...
    • BO2 Weaponized 115 Pack: Another zombies pack, same situation as above.
    • BO2 UK Punk Pack: This looked so good, but again, same situation as above.

Thanks, and if you help, you'll get brains ;)

  8. Cheers guys going to get moon asap. @ boring guy i never knew that they maps were on bo1 Will have to purchase them aswell thanks man.

Well actually, the Moon purchase includes the WAW maps is what he was saying, so it's only 1 purchase for 5 Zombs maps! Enjoy

  9. What a dissapointment.

COD has been doing terrible lately. First Ghosts, now this?

I don't know anyone with any real hype for AW, and I know some COD fanboys lol. If Treyarch doesn't have a quality release, COD may very well be over.

I personally am fine with this game sucking- I have other games to play, plus I wasn't exactly ready for Zombies yet lol

  10. Yes, I know that there is a thread for GTA V discussion and news, but I felt this deserved it's own thread for people to give their opinions on my idea, plus it would probably create a mix-up in that discussion anyways.

    Features:
--Online Weed And Meth Businesses: This is the best part (in my opinion) of this DLC package. Anyways, here's how it goes: Weed/Meth businesses require a crew of at least 2 to purchase. Each player in the crew is assigned a role in the business.

    Roles (Weed)

    • Farmer: To start this business, your crew will need to purchase either a farm, or at level 50 Weed Crew ranking, a compound. If you want to have a small business, you can also run it with just a closet in an apartment, but drug busts are much more frequent this way. Anyways, using a plot of land in the mountains, you buy fertilizer, plant new crops, customize your farm, hire farm security, protect the farm from gangs/other crews/police, and can even unlock specialized strains of weed as you level up in this class.
    • Distributor: You are responsible for delivering the weed to customers around San Andreas. Sometimes, you'll sell to a whole business. Sometimes, it'll only be a bag that leaves your hands. Either way, you're making money. You can purchase an optional envoy each time for protection, and it is recommended to bring weapons with you regardless, as you could always walk into a gang attack when you thought you were making sales. You also have to watch for undercover cops, enemy crews trying to steal your product, and people who try not to pay for the weed. Since you are a distributor, you unlock a 2-vehicle garage at the farm, upon which you can store vehicles used for distributing the marijuanna. On special missions, you may also use a helicopter. You unlock special security options for your vehicles in this class.
    • Muscle-Man: It's exactly as it sounds: You kill people. You go after enemy crews, try to steal their product. You also try to steal your's back when a crew steals it. You may be found protecting the farm, or riding with the distributors. You may also fight off cops in a bust. You unlock exclusive weapon camos in this class, as well as raising a respect level as you protect your crew. You fuck up, it goes down. The higher it is, the more likely your crew won't have to deal with undercover cops, gang attacks, all that stuff. Now it can still happen, but it will definitely be less frequently.

As your crew ranks up, you unlock weed emblems, junkie outfits, more customers, corrupt cop contacts (They influence the police to not snoop in a certain area, or to stop going after you), NPC security contacts, and much more. Also, a player can play more than one role, but it is extremely hard to manage 2 roles, and multiple players can also play 1 role.

    Roles (Meth)

    • Chemist: To start the business, you'll need to purchase either an RV, a broke-down home, or, once you reach Level 50 Meth Crew ranking, a super-lab. Anyways, this player(s) will go to their meth-lab, and cook. The way this function works is a combination of buttons, and the faster the speed, and less the mistakes, the higher purity. Higher purity warrants higher prices, as does special strains of weed. This player can customize the RV/broke-down home/super-lab. They can also hire security at their lab, and with an RV, purchase a NPC driver from the taxi company.
    • THE OTHER 2 OPTIONS WORK THE SAME WAY AS BEFORE.

I feel that this new feature would definitely increase the function of the crew feature, as well as add new unlockables, and jobs that affect gameplay more than just cash. Plus, you get extra garage space, perks, and of course money. Oh, and you can always test your product out, or buy from other crews/gangs.

--Online Car Show feature: Now, upon visiting LSCarShows.com on the in-game phone's internet function, one can rate fellow player's vehicles, as done with the RateMyRide feature in Midnight Club: LA! You can sell your car (minimum price is slightly higher than original car price automatically to avoid cheating, but the maximum can be whatever), trade your vehicle, rate fellow player's rides, and buy other player's emblems for use on your vehicle! You can also add decals to vehicles now, as done on Midnight Club, to add an extra level of creativity to every design!

--Movable Waypoints: Hate setting a waypoint just for your target to move? Well now, you just follow the waypoint, and no matter where the target goes, you'll be on their lead.

--New low-rider type vehicles, with weed-leaf rims, LED custom options, and more.

--Junkie/ghetto clothing options, including saggy pants, snapbacks, drug paraphenilia based clothing such as graphic weed tees, Breaking Bad-inspired clothing, and more.

    --Flamethrower weapon

--Ability to purchase different designs of bongs, as well as silver and gold rolling papers, or to roll up a joint with money.

I will expand onto this idea later, but this is it for now for the Crew Update DLC.

  11. @ If you pre-order you get a bonus $1m GTA$.

$500k for Michael/Trevor/Franklin and $500k for your GTA: O character.

I don't know if it's split between the 3 ($160k each) or if every character gets $500k.

Also, people who are coming over from X360/PS3 will have some "bonus" cars too. :D

I guess it's a "Thank you" for playing the "beta" of GTA V.

One thing I'm wondering, will the achievements (reach level 25/50/100) unlock the second I start Online? Or will I have to create a new character to unlock them?

They probably will. I don't see why not lol.

I'm so happy there will be new stuff on the radios :)

  12. I can't wait! When I get my One this Christmas, I'll definitely have to purchase this.

I hope SP Dlc comes soon, and I wish you could transfer SP progress over as well, but at least we can still transfer our online.

I've also heard there will be new Strangers and Freaks and Random Events.
