  1. I must comment here again.

Super Dimentio. I nearly beat this guy, but my 10-year old self couldn't handle the fact

that his super precious Count Bleck, or as I called him, Lumie, was not the final boss.

And Shroob. I really have nothing to say about her, except I can clearly remember the end of that game and finally beating her on an overcast Sunday afternoon at 4pm.

  2. What I never understood was why they never went back and buffed the Jet Gun. It takes like 15 minutes to build, "sucks" and can even explode it's parts outside the map (this is terrible because you now can't even build it again.

It could drop to the ground instead, and have to wait like 35 seconds for it to cool down before picking it back up. For anyone saying this is overpowered, has anyone seen the Paralyser lately? I understand the Jet Gun is a buildable, but that doesn't mean it has to bad. Just look at the Sliquifier.

  3. V4MP1R3 B4T

This is a weapon similar to the Maxis Drone. It has 3 parts and is a buildable, however, there is one trick. 2 of the 3 parts have to be found in the Box. The last/first piece (depending on when you get the Box pieces) is sitting next to the workbench with a special note on the wall with blueprints (similar to the notes in the spawn on Origins), reading:

"The other 2 pieces seem to be found randomly from the mystical crate."

It looks like a bat, and the three pieces you need are the Bat Head, which is exactly what it says it is, the Wing Set, which is the two wings, and the Central Core, the centre of the bat with a small piece of 115 within a small cradle on the underside of the bat. It also has tubes filled with blood running throughout the entire bat.

When built, it can be thrown with down on the DPAD. However, it will only draw the device into your hands. You now have 3 options: pressing the right trigger will release the bat, and it will act similar to the Maxis Drone. However, it can draw the energy from the killed Zombies to give it extra time in the air before falling to the ground. It can then be picked up and placed into it's charging cradle. It will take 5 minutes to recharge, however, killing zombies around the workbench will cause it to charge faster (15 zombies will completely charge it). You can also press B to lay it on the ground for a friend to pick up. It can also be taken to the PaP and turned into the DRACULATOR.

The Draculator is quite the same, however it's eyes now pulse red, similar to the Blundergat decals. It also takes on a more ancient look, and feels less mechanical and more... alive.

It lasts for twice as long and takes less Zombies to gain more time in the air. Once at charging, it takes 24 zombies to insta-charge. The blood that pulses through it's tubes is also less diluted. It now has a new function as well; it can revive players via a blood transfusion, also giving them a 15-second Zombie Blood effect (visual style and the invulnerability). In this mode, the player can now see the Zombies through walls, but their vision is very blurry.

    All for now.

    Let's keep the juices flowing.

Also no, I am not obsessed with blood.

  4. Gauntlet

Exactly what it says it is. This metal gauntlet fit's over your left hand. It has three coloured lights which are not lit up on the mid three knuckles. It is a one-hit melee in Charge Form until round 15, and a one hit in Prime Form (left DPAD will bring out Prime Form, putting away your gun, allowing for more force to be put into your punches) until Round 17. Taking the gun to the Pack-A-Punch will not do anything but Pack-a-Punch your primary weapon.. However, pulling out Prime Form while facing the Pack-a-Punch will trigger a special message.
"This weapon cannot be Pack-a-Punched... Yet (0/3)"

    The Upgrade: The Combo Breaker

Once you have visited the Pack-a-Punch once, each round, a special zombie will spawn with a shining light emanating from it's chest. Punching this zombie will cause one of the lights on the knuckles to light up. Once all three are lit, head back to the PaP and pull out the Prime Form. It will accept it, and you will perform an animation of placing your hand near the weapon slot, and the gauntlet will fly off your hand into the machine. After waiting a few seconds, the gauntlet will come back out, along with it's new friend (it has become dual-wield). It also now takes up a primary weapon slot. It looks the same, but now has a shiny metallic camo to it, and steampunk style wiring wrapping the wrist. There are now three small crystals on the knuckles where the lights used to be.

Pressing LT will punch with the left, and pressing RT will punch with the right. Holding both will perform a dual punch with twice the power. Small coats of blood will begin to form over the crystal as you kill Zombies with it. It will also slowly fill a bar on the bottom right of your screen, under the rounds. Pressing left on the DPAD will make the crystals glow under the blood. Pressing both triggers while this is active will make the crystals suddenly repulsive. The blood will fade into wisps of ethereal energy, and form an orb in the centre of your screen. Releasing the triggers will shoot it out. It moves as fast as a charged Kimat's Bite shot, and as soon as it makes contact with the first zombie, it arcs. It will kill an entire horde forever if it is chained well enough. It takes 27 zombies to completely fill the bar.

  5. Couldn't manage to find a group.

Did some exploring in theatre mode. I kept getting CG Spawn errors when trying to escape the Power.

    I found some interesting things.

First of all, the power lines (such as the floppy line at Diner) do not appear at all in theatre (tested multiple times)

Second, a few seconds after the game begins, the Tower is struck by a buttload of lightning.

There is also a weird board above a window in the Town area.

I thought these were quite interesting.

  6. OHMAGAWD MMX you went there.

    You brought Bonechill into this!

    I love you (no homo)

When I was 10 I rented Super Paper Mario 3D for the Wii from a video shop in my town every single week until someone else borrowed it and never returned it. Then, I went to buy it. It was $80...

I should look into getting it again.

  7. Decided to try some things the other day, however host ended game on last step because he "was afraid of getting downs" as we made the rounds waiting for a Max Ammo.

I had this idea, probably been tried before but it can't hurt to try.

In some code i was reading the other day, there was a piece which read:

    zmb_powerup_grabbed turbine_on ladder_attached catcher_attached hatch_attached flag distancequared isonbus _a534 _k534 player get_players players should_say_upgrade

Maybe, if we complete our ToB side, grab the powerup, then have everyone on the bus and place their turbines it would do something?

I have a maxed bank, and if no one has tried this by this weekend I shall be attempting this for both sides.

  8. Okay, that title could be taken a few different ways...

Basically, I'd like to know if you guys all remember where every part is on each map. I do, and I'd like to be tested on this.

Name a part and a map, and I can give the possible spawn location/s. (Only counts for BO2 maps, all of you who instantly thought the Wire from Moon...)

I feel strange for this, as I seem to be the only one who can actually remember this. I've seen multiple people ask where a part is, when they've picked it up from it's current location in a previous match. Is there something different about me?

I wrote this thread as a huge, long post originally, but then my laptop froze so I lost it.

This is kinda like a survey!

  9. I've got some corrections to make:

"Perhaps you will be the first to finish, how it started, so long ago"

It is actually "Perhaps you will be the first to finish what was started so long ago." or "Perhaps you will be the first to finish that which was started so long ago."

I can't remember which one it was, but I know it is one of those two.

    Also:

"Defile my will at your own risk" is "Defy my will at your own risk!"

  10. Thank you very much Naitrax, MonkeyBomb, and sh3baproject.

I've added Rosalina to the main post : D

Um... When did I get here? :P

Anyway, great job MMX and I will be very much looking forward to the finished content.

  11. Nai turned to the scientist. "Do you know if the security code for the Hatch has been changed since I was last here?"

"It has. The new code is Yellow, Blue, Red, Orange." he replied, pointing them toward the door. "Good luck. You'll need it." he said as he ushered the group out.

  12. Do you think it would be possible for this to be "announced" so to speak (like kind of advertised in every forum, like I saw something the other day was) because I've seen a few certain posts which really don't deserve Brains being awarded them.
I'm not trying to single anyone out, but here are a few examples.

Why do any of those deserve Brains? Brains are supposed to be for Zombies-related/well-thought out posts, not things that make you laugh.

    To quote a great man:

These are just some examples and not necessarily a definative list, but use of the brains system is for given brains, the clue is in the name. Brains are supplied for hard work, well thought out, informative topics and posts. If you think it's worthy of brains and falls into that catergory then it probably deserves brains, if it doesn't and you have to ask yourself twice, then it probably doesn't deserve brains.

  13.

Cleanse the Tablet by obtaining melee kills first in the Church with the Tablet in the holy water, then make your way to the Tank Station without touching the mud and place the Tablet where it was first picked up. Proceed to earn more melee kills inside the Tank Station to receive your Beacons.

    Is that okay?

Might want to add the steps prior too.

    • Fill all 4 Chests & collect 'One Inch Punch' from Challenge Chest

    • Collect Runestone from table inside Tank Station

    • Place Runestone in Holy Water Fountain inside the Church

    • Melee Zombies inside Church using 'One Inch Punch' to cleanse Runestone (or is this step any Melee attack too?)

    • Take Runestone back to the table inside Tank Station

    • Use any Melee attack to kill Zombies inside Tank Station

    • Collect Airstrike Beacon from Table

Bit of a process, but that's the short of it.

Any melee can be used for both, and that's why it is incorrect.

  15. The Beacons incorrectly list the method of obtaining as using the One-Inch-Punch to clean the tablets in two locations. You need not use the One-Inch-Punch. It can be any melee; Upgraded Staves, Zombie Shield, or even your normal knife if you so choose.

Also, a better wording would be perhaps
"Obtain melee kills to cleanse the Fist Tablets in the two locations."?

  16. Was playing Origins last night and going about my business as usual. Decide to go see one of the other players over near the MP40 on the Excavation Site. As I get there, he kills the last zombie and I fall straight through the map and to my death.

I have no clue how it happened, but I then respawned and got set back up, only to get disconnected from the BO2 servers minutes later.

    Good job Treyarch.

  17. As Proji drew his Remington on a scientist, Nai crept up behind him, needle in hand. He drove the syringe into his neck and Proji went lack and begun convulsing on the floor. "Shouldn't we help him?" Festo asked. Nai answered, "He'll be fine. He just has to let the serum reach his heart, then he'll be fine."

As if on cue, Proji stopped shaking and lay there.

  18. This makes me all warm inside, because I agree with most of what you said, and it reminded me of something which happened last Thursday.

My friend had recently gotten Black Ops 2 + DLCs and no one wanted to play with him because he wasn't very good. Anyway, we loaded up some Mob of the Dead, and I taught him the map. His first game we hot Round 34, could have gone further but I was host and I had to go. By the end, he was safely running the cafeteria and Acid Gatting his way out of corners like a pro. I was so proud.
