  1. nice thread Naitrax, but I hope it doesn't happen lol.  They just got Tranzit all wrong.  The whole thing is really terrible, literally the whole thing.  I have to believe that if/when zombies continues, that the on-disk map will be really terriffic.  Now if they really wanted to make that large a map with many different unique locations, what would be the "no-brainer" way of traveling?   duh! teleport!  we've been teleporting in zombies since Der Reise!  but instead they made us ride a rickety bus, and even worse, wait for siad rickety bus.

Anyway, I really wish they would extend the DLC seasons for cod games since many either dont buy or don't play as much the IW installments,.  Borderlands 2 is such a great example of a game getting quality content even 18 months + after release.

To each there own. A perfect example of Sentence 2.

Yeah, but we have ActiWhores Inc. pressuring Treyarch.

  2. You have a cracked version of BO2? Or you're lacking the Revolution DLC.

I'll explain the audio files in short:

    They're categorized as:

    [mp/zmb/sp]  _  [gamemode]  _  [map] . [language or .all].

So for example;   zmb_classic_tranzit.all   [classic = story mode]

.all = the main audiofiles, these are the same in each version of BO2 no matter what language you're having selected. (all music, and sound effects are stored here)

.english = all the soundfiles that are exclusive to the english version of BO2. (quotes)

I've got a legit copy and the Revolution DLC, but I had someone extract them for me. They probably were categorised differently by them.

Thank you for the information though, good to know what the "."'s meant.

  3. Interesting idea. Let me share my knowledge.

"Nothing to see here, for now ..." when you enter Nacht (cut, never triggers, presumably programming error)

"It seems the new cargo is aboard and needs to be delivered" when you pick up the navcard. (cut, also never triggers, due to programming error)

I've looked through the audiofiles again, and inside zmb_returned_tranzit are all the soundfiles from Turned. (returned is just an alias for the gamemode Turned)

Sam's announcer quotes and the jingle you mentioned, are all inside zmb_highrise.english. (Die Rise)

    You mixed those up.

Hope this clears things up a bit.

    It says zmb_returned_tranzit.english.sabl on mine...

    Hmm

  4. An interesting idea. Maybe Treyarch will actually make Tranzit properly next ime. Y'know, without the horrendous fog, the lack of anything interesting, and get rid of that god damn fire.

Personally I think it's a bit of a long shot. Given it's the first map, it's probably nothing to do with any more Zombies we might get. Perhaps a scrapped idea that was never used again. But who knows? It's certainly better to be coming up with theories like this than to just give up on Zombies ever coming back.

    -Jolteon

Yeah, I know that it was kind of a long shot, but when this info clicked, I thought I may as well share it.

    Thanks for reading and responding!

  5. Maxis, returned_tranzit & Black Ops III

    - The Future of Zombies -

TranZit. The map you either love or hate. The map of first impressions and last words. A map which divided the community in a way rivalled only by that of the climactic end of the Black Ops 2 DLC season. But what is really behind this map, and, as Malukah once sung, "Where are we going from here?"

    Maxis' Cut Quotes

Maxis had some quotes from TranZit that never made it into the final game. There are two of these such quotes in this game which are very intriguing, vox_maxi_future_dlc_0 & vox_maxi_future_nav_0. These quotes have had no way to be triggered to our knowledge... People have tried to make sense of these for months... What secrets could they hold? vox_maxi_future_dlc_0 goes like this:

Nothing to see here, for now. Maybe down the road we will revisit this place. Such a lovely place...

Maxis is telling us that we are going to be seeing TranZit again, in some form. The way he says "Such as lovely place..." is with such wistfulness and longing, as if Maxis knew the place in it's true beauty, pre-Moon...

    vox_maxi_future_nav_0 goes like this:

It seems a new cargo is aboard and needs to be delivered.

It seems as if Maxis is giving instructions, toward a new goal. Possibly Easter Egg related, and definitely secret.

What does all this mean? It all points toward a TranZit "remaster"...

    zmb_returned_tranzit

There exists two folders (in the dumped audio files, extracted from the game) labelled "zmb_returned_tranzit". The first folder contains all the power up drops announced by Sam, INCLUDING the extended Fire ***** jingle. The second contains many grunts and screams and breaths by the N4, without any dialogue, to my knowledge. You might just pass this off as Turned, but remember, Turned is known to the game as Cleansed. This further supports the idea that there was intended to be a TranZit re-visit.

Black Ops III & The Future of Zombies

All this points toward a scrapped TranZit remake. But, I believe it to be only scrapped for Black Ops II. I believe that we shall be seeing TranZit again, as either the/a base map in the next Zombies instalment, or as a DLC. TranZit's story is far from over.

  6. My internet was incapacitated the day before Mob of the Dead was to be released on Xbox. I had two friends coming over for a night of gaming to our mental capacities, and my heart broke when I saw my connection drop before my eyes as a semi barrelled down my street and right through the cord which may as well have been my life.

Luckily, we managed to download it off a mobile phone hotspot, but we had no connections to the outside world, and when we managed to escape the island the first time and that 75G achievement popped up, my house was full of absolute joy as we pranced around, believing we had just completed the Easter Egg. How damn wrong we were...

But anyway, obtaining all but 2 achievements within a 24 hour time period with no Internet is pretty respectable.

  7. I had this thread written out so perfectly about 2 months ago, but I left CoDz for a while. Now, it is time for the theories to return!

Sorry about lack of picture evidence. All my photos were destroyed/lost :(

There are 5 Robots on Origins. Most people only know of 4. However, the Robot which passes at the beginning is a separate being to the others. How? It's footpath is different to any others.

What are the chances of it being Thor? It never returns to that part, and it's not the downed one...

Here is a Skype convo with InfestLithium regarding this whole situation:

[12/09/2013 7:55:44 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: Origins has 5 Mechanical Giants (Robots)

[12/09/2013 7:56:07 pm] Danny [Lithium]: 5? I know of four.

[12/09/2013 7:56:34 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: But there is five

[12/09/2013 7:56:45 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Three roaming, one fallen.

[12/09/2013 7:57:09 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Unless there is another downed one.

[12/09/2013 7:57:40 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: Now bear with me, as I will be copying this from a conversation with someone here on Skype and I will delete the unessecary lines

[12/09/2013 7:58:08 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: [9/09/13 8:10:19 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: The Robot that passes over spawn at the very beginning? A completely different robot from all the tohers

[9/09/13 8:10:42 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: It's foot path is diferent to Thor

[9/09/13 8:11:02 PM] Kieran Lacey: Alright I'll take your word for that

[9/09/13 8:11:11 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: I'm just grabbing a pic now

[9/09/13 8:15:32 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: http://gyazo.com/d68834082c9d5eacafea2ef65f8ffdbb

Here is Thor's Prints. To the left of each Tesla Coil. You can see for yourself that they go in a straight path

[9/09/13 8:16:14 PM] Kieran Lacey: ok

[9/09/13 8:17:25 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: http://gyazo.com/1933fd04ec754d0cea4c847cb926fe78

Here is the path of the Robot from the Spawn

[9/09/13 8:17:45 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: It's right foot falls on the Tank Station, instead of Thor's left

[9/09/13 8:18:34 PM] Kieran Lacey: Yeah

[9/09/13 8:19:29 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: You can see it is not the Downed Robot because of the fact that it is already there, but also for the fact that the Downed couldnt have possibly fallen from there. Look at the way it fell:

    http://gyazo.com/eeb31bb0674832ae7a34ce20f4ef6bbd

[9/09/13 8:19:47 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: Notice the Trench of the Tank Path at the bottom

[9/09/13 8:20:26 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: It would have had to have deviated from it's path extremely to have fallen there

[9/09/13 8:23:54 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: It might have been Thor, just happening to deviate from his path slightly, but if so, why doesn't he ever go back there again? And why don't the other Robots do the same? It is because they are running on 115, and that power is being drawn from Agartha and/or the Crazy Place (which is the Gateway to Agartha). They have been running on this loop for centuries, if what Samantha says to Richtofen is true.

[9/09/13 8:24:12 PM] The Man With Golden Eyes: Also, the Robot's feet are solid.

[12/09/2013 7:58:14 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: Whoops

[12/09/2013 7:58:22 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: Forgot to delete shit

[12/09/2013 7:58:38 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: i will go in to more detail if it is required

[12/09/2013 8:00:52 pm] Danny [Lithium]: I honestly think it's just a mistake made. Taken into account the many things we also see in the trailer.

[12/09/2013 8:01:03 pm] Danny [Lithium]: But I do believe you about the fallen robot portion.

[12/09/2013 8:01:14 pm] Danny [Lithium]: They continuously run this loop until they cannot go any longer.

[12/09/2013 8:01:24 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: OR, they are destroyed

[12/09/2013 8:01:43 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Yes; but for the meanwhile, it looks incredibly difficult to wipe them out.

[12/09/2013 8:02:12 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: The Downed Robot has both it's feet hatches open, so it can be assumed it was destroyed from the inside.

    How? By removing the 115.

[12/09/2013 8:02:22 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Also, 115 is already used to power them. They have been on autopilot since the controlling agents died off.

[12/09/2013 8:02:47 pm] Danny [Lithium]: They were programmed to control and loop according to Richtofen.

[12/09/2013 8:04:47 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: Inside the each Robot's head, there are tubes full of 115.

The 115 was removed from Agartha (the Crazy Place being the Lobby, not fully in, but definately not out) and used to power the Machines in this map. Every machine was excavated from Agartha

[12/09/2013 8:04:53 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: Kind of

[12/09/2013 8:04:58 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: You know what I mean

[12/09/2013 8:05:23 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Well, you mean everry machine taps into the Crazy Place.

[12/09/2013 8:05:44 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Since that seems to be where most of the 115 is held. Or at least underground below the surface for that matter.

[12/09/2013 8:06:26 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Also, the robot that lands on the tank station in the trailer IS Thor by the way.

[12/09/2013 8:06:45 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Just a minor discrepency you pointed out because Treyarch isn't too consisted in their trailers.

[12/09/2013 8:07:16 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Because when you begin the match, note that the robot's foot lifts off the spawn location.

[12/09/2013 8:07:22 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Wrong footing, yes.

[12/09/2013 8:07:25 pm] Danny [Lithium]: But same robot.

[12/09/2013 8:07:48 pm] Danny [Lithium]: And we know that what happened at the end of the trailer immediately continues once we spawn.

[12/09/2013 8:08:25 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Why doesn't Nikolai have his Olympia? Why doesn't Tank have a Remington New Model Army? It's the same reason why the footing is different for the robots, I'm afraid.

[12/09/2013 8:14:16 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: In the Soundtrack, there is a track called Machines of Agartha. When this is played, the ticking noise that everyone wants to know more about plays, and then the sound of the Agarthan Guardians attacking the generators. The Guardians do not approve of their technology being used to power machinery. I believe that throughout the millions of years Origins has been on loop, the Guardians have developed higher senses, as they do not exist in this realm. They are not part of the loop. Originally, they would have tried to attack the Robots, as they are what ran off this technology originally. Then, after they realised it was fruitless, they began to attack the other machines. However, one group of Guardians continued to attack the Robots. They managed to fell two of them; the one that passes spawn (shortly after it leaves the map on it's final run) and the Downed.

[12/09/2013 8:15:13 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Hm, that's a good view to look from.

[12/09/2013 8:15:23 pm] Danny [Lithium]: But you need to validfy your proof of a 5th robot still.

[12/09/2013 8:15:45 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Using a choppy scene in the opening cutscene doesn't relaly prove anything when it is contradicted.

[12/09/2013 8:16:12 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: It's nto from the Opening scene. It actually hapens ingame

[12/09/2013 8:16:24 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Also, the machines were not built from Agartha. Maxis has a radio log saying that Group 935 built the conversion generators.

[12/09/2013 8:16:46 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: They used Agarthan Technology

[12/09/2013 8:17:07 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: Like seriously. Conversion generators in 1917? I think not

[12/09/2013 8:17:19 pm] Danny [Lithium]: I can say the same for giant robots.

[12/09/2013 8:17:40 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Conversion generators only extract element 115 and alter their form of matter.

[12/09/2013 8:18:54 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Still, you need that proof for the 5th robot haha. You're creating a scenario that has no backtrack or evidence supporting it. I understand that a robot outside the map (not near tank station) could be taken down but there needs to be something that proves it was taken down and it was taken down by Agarthan zombies or something to that extent.

[12/09/2013 8:20:19 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: "The Giant Robots were the greatest feat ever accomplished, made possible only by use of Element 115"

    - Richtofen

Now I see where you are coming from, don't get me wrong. I assume Group 935 got help using the powers of Element 115 to tear the fabric of space and time (creating a Rift ;) ) and pull the pices for the Generators and Robots to them

[12/09/2013 8:25:26 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: Proof? Most of this is theory. But, my little evidence to support the Agarthan Guardians' involvement is that they head for things powered by 115. They don't attack the player (unless SUMMONED as an effect of powering a Generator) so therefore they head for the 115. Why they do not go for the Zombies, I do not understand as of yet. But they are nto after the player. They are after the 115. Their 115. I assume they would have entered a robot and attacked it from the inside to power it down. The reason this is not instantaneous is the fact that the Robot would require MASSIVE amounts of 115 to power beasts of that size on an eternal loop. Why do they not stay inside the Robot? Because of the Auto-Purge. That's why it was installed.

[12/09/2013 8:26:12 pm] Danny [Lithium]: They attack players in the Crazy Place.

[12/09/2013 8:26:26 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Make this into a thread so I can better reply to it - right now we're scrambling around haha.

[12/09/2013 8:26:39 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: The players are invading their territory.

[12/09/2013 8:26:44 pm] Danny [Lithium]: G'night friendo - I definitely need some shut eye. I better wake up to a good thread tomorrow. ;)

[12/09/2013 8:26:59 pm] Danny [Lithium]: Side note: That juxtaposes your theory about them going after 115.

[12/09/2013 8:27:16 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: Maybe… I might have to go to bed soon.

[12/09/2013 8:28:22 pm] The Man With G̶o̶l̶d̶e̶n̶ Black Eyes: Not really. They leave their own dimension to attack their technology being used to power machines of the Mortals. If your home was being attacked (or so they think) wouldn't you try to defend it?

Completely copy/pasted so excuse some random bits.

    DISCUSS.

  8. When running the trailer's title through Google Translate, it comes up with Dead Rising. So I guess the "next" Zombies map to be released will be called Dead Rising...

    Nacht Der Chinesischen anyone??

That's Night of the Chinese FYI :)

    or maybe Nacht der Chinesisch-exklusiv?

Read between the lines on that one...

Also, all the Zombies appear to be under Richtofen's control, however, there is one SINGLE Zombie who has yellow eyes... Maybe freeing Samantha in Origins turned her into a man and zombiefied her?

  9. YOTE was, no, is my favourite YouTuber EVER. PERIOD. He was the greatest person. He could make me smile even on my worst days. I, like DBZ, had the privilege of playing with him once. It was amazing.

R.I.P to one of the greatest members of the Zombie Community we'll ever see.

My heart goes out to everyone who knew him personally (ie. his family and friends) and the family and friends of the other 2 people killed in the accident.

  10. Assuming that I'm not confusing something: normally the sv waits for you to hit x to reload it (no animation, the ammo simply moves from reserve to chamber). But last night i had electric cherry and after i fired, it would give me the electric effect, wait 1 second, then move ammo into the chamber on its own, i never needed to hit x

It doesn't need Electric Cherry to do that. That is what it has always done. Leave it for 3-4 seconds, it will reload.

  11. Take the muzzles off, Nai here with real shit

Flow like a river, spit like the rain,

Take it all away all you gonna feel is pain

Guns-a-blazing come in like a thunderbolt,

Strength unrivalled blow up like an upgraded Colt.

Living legend, set your rhymes ablaze

Don't be too sad when I say I'm unfazed.

    XD

Terrible. But that was my first ever time.

  12. Foreword

Hello CoDz, Nai here with the first of a few theories I'll be going into over the first few weeks of Off-Time. I'll be titling these similar to the title of this one, so be on the look-out! These theories will be about how the mechanics of the games work.

This theory will be on the inner workings of the Pack-a-Punch, a machine we all think we know so well, but do not at all!

    The Pack-a-Punch Machine

The Pack-a-Punch machine. A machine of different designs, which somehow infuses our weapons with Element 115 to give them that extra punch we need to mow down a horde of the undead. We are all familiar with it, but do we know how it really works?

In Origins, it is revealed that using Element 115, a hole can be torn in the fabric of space and time and allow objects to move freely through. I believe this to be how the Pack-a-Punch works. When we place our weapon inside the machine, it is sent back to it's original place, until it is called upon again (say by receiving it again from the Mystery Box). This would explain the reason we can seem to have an unlimited amount of the same weapon.

When the weapon is placed in the machine, a rift opens and the weapon is sent back to it's point of origin, while the upgraded version (from a place where the items began that way) are sent in to replace it.

The concentration of 115 in the PaP allows the weapon to be "upgraded" but it never is. The weapon is simply replaced with a stronger version.

    End

Thanks very much for taking the time to read this, and please let me know what you think of this theory!

    ~Naitrax

  13. Guys, the Sekhmet's Vigour is an instakill weapon forever. It has no penetration/chaining whatsoever, but it can be used to 2 shot a Panzer.

I hate how overlooked this weapon is. I made a video about it and it got 1000 views, but no-one knew what it was or what it did until they watched it.

But seriously. It will ALWAYS kill a zombie if it hits.
