  1. For reference, this is the hanford site we are talking about:

A few things I would like to point out, number 1. There are no cornfields, like there are in the trailer. No where really can this relate to what we saw except the buses. Does seem like an interesting location and would be exciting if that was there. But I don't think there is enough evidence to show that could be the new map.

    *coughleakedinformation48cough*

  2. I like it. I don't know about everybody else but I would enjoy playing a game mdoe like that. A zombiefied version of a zombie game i guess?? Anyways I think george would be a good person to be able to play as tactical wise. He'd be able to make the zombies run faster and could trap the non zombiefied players in a corner. great idea bro!

    Bacon for you!

I excluded George because he's just too powerful. I suppose it could work, IF his health were lowered drastically. He'd only be able to run if he were shot though. Another thing is, how would you calm him down? There are only a select number of maps with water to lead him into. Maybe George can only sprint for a limited time after he's shot? He'd definitely have to be modified a lot.

  3. I think a robot will be driving the bus. Only a machine could go on driving a bus in a specific route while not giving a care about the attacking zombies. Some people think that it's a zombie driving the bus, but do I even have to explain why that doesn't make sense?

If you look at the bus, the paint is all tore off, maybe an effect from the bomb shot from the moon. I doubt that a robot would be driving a bus back then.

Remember, though, this map is probably the Hanford site. Hanford did have a HUGE system of buses - more than the city of Chicago. Since it was basically all scientists living there, it would make sense that they might try to build a robotic bus driver. Maybe they were just beginning to test it with one unit, when the Earth got nuked.

  4. Kinda stupid to be posting this in the midst of getting a bunch of actual information, and the time for Treyarch to look at ideas from the community is long gone, but I just love coming up with these.

I got the name "Returned" FROM MY HEAD AS IT IS NOT A LEAK AT ALL.

Anyways, basically Returned is Infected with a zombies twist. Zombies and Infected just seem to go hand in hand. Here's how it works:

    Returned

    Up to 8 players

    Free-for-All gametype

Everyone would start at a random location (separate from each other) on the map (in which all doors would be opened). Players would start with 3000 points, and zombies would start coming immediately - probably about round 15 health and speed. The round would be endless.

Players would play as they normally would. They can buy perks, weapons, PaP, etc. If a player goes down, however, there is no one to pick them up, and so they would die immediately.

Of course, this is like Infected. Death isn't the end of it. You will come back. But not quite in the way you were before...

After the player dies, they can come back as a zombie as many times as they want to try to kill the surviving players. They have multiple zombie types to choose from a list that looks like the class selection in multiplayer. These types are:

Sprinter: A zombie whose speed surpasses that of the AI-controlled zombies.

Hellhound: This would be controlled from third-person view, much like the RC-XD. You know how it works, faster speed, less damage.

Space Monkey: Again, controlled from third person. These can attack players, but their main advantage is that they can attack a perk machine and steal said perk from all players. When you're a monkey and you go to attack a machine, a bar will start to fill up showing your progress, similar to when you revive, defuse a bomb, etc. Players will be notified when a perk is being stolen, so they have the choice of going on a dangerous "side-quest" to kill the monkey, or losing the perk.

Screecher: Exactly like the one on Shangri-La. Fast, impairs vision when screaming, slightly higher health. Good for players who wanna rush the survivors.

Napalm Zombie: Exactly like the one on Shangri-La. Slow, but explodes with a massive radius and leaves fire on the ground for a few seconds after. Used tactically, this can really screw survivors over.

Astronaut: Exactly like the one on Moon. VERY slow, but very high health. Grabs the player and teleports them, red-screens them, and steals a perk. Hard to catch a player with it, but if you do it can be devastating.

Anyone have some others to add that I forgot? I think the Thief would be unfair mid-round. This would be a good opportunity to introduce some new zombies as well.

Anyways, you could play this a few ways. Final ranking could be judged by score, kills, or last man standing. What do you guys think? :D

  5. It's so close now guys, I know how badly we all wanted a trailer, but don't you think that Treyarch may have intended to tease it this much just to get us this anxious to see anything zombies related?

But that's just the thing, I'm NOT anxious to see anything zombies related. The teasers they released today. Those were the first zombies "videos" they've officially released. I bet they were expecting everyone to get so incredibly psyched. They just made me angry that they weren't something more. Everyone else felt the same. They've overdone the teasing. It was fun at first, but now they're just beating a dead horse. The hype for zombies is gone, it's just plain expected at this point. They're kinda blowing it.

  6. Easy fix: they should just make it so that if you switch your class, you will no longer respawn at your tactical insertion. There. That was easy.

Even so, who's to say you won't pick up an enemy's gun with 3 attachments?

If you do, then you do. You'd have to be pretty lucky to find an enemy's gun that's your particular weapon of choice that also has your best three attachments.

  7. Although, something no one's thought of, could they be achievement pictures?

Good thought, but I don't think so. Achievements for CoD games usually tend to all have the same color scheme - WaW was grey and red, MW2 was silver and gold, BO was blue, and MW3 was green and silver. I feel like BO2 will have a similar style.

  8. I dont get how people can think these are anything OTHER then prestige emblems, NOTHING in Blops (icon wise) had this amount of detail, except for the prestige icons. Not accolades, not perks, not anything. I know it's a different game but they aren't going to overhaul a system. Accolades are on your screen for about 2 seconds, so they wouldn't have that much detail. IF there is a zombies CaC, normal CaC doesn't have logos per tier, except for the perks, but then again, no perk emblems have that amount of detail. If you think they're Zombie perk's (deadshot etc) just no. Obviously they posted this one today to say that they're keeping the design of perks the same.

I'm done talking about these perk things, I may be coming off a tad arrogant but i mean come on, some of you guys are in a fantasy world for some reason.

^ This is why brains need to be brought back.

  9. I like this. It reminds me of the gun game challenge I do in Black Ops now. If they could actually integrate that into the game itself, it would be all the more amazing.

This would not only work great for free-for-all, but also for co-op survival. Every round (or every few rounds) everyone gets two (three with Mule Kick) random weapons, and have to survive with those weapons.

Also, the idea about the colored eyes: genius. I'd give you brains for that if I could [brains]

  10. Alright, I've posted this like 3 times but I will post it over and over again if I need to.

Nuketown and area 51 are both in Roswell, new Mexico. Couldn't the four heroes have just walked to the nearest "town"? The zombies would follow them, and there you go! Zombies AND the heroes have an excuse for being there. Idk about where they hope to get guns and perks, but If you think about it WHY ARE GUNS AND FREAKING MAGIC SODA MACHINES EVERYWERE ON A MOVIE SET, IN A LOST JUNGLE, OR ON THE FREAKING MOON!? it makes as much sense as any of those.

And I've posted THIS several times: I don't think the heroes will be in Nuketown, because for those who don't get the Nuketown map (the ones who order the standard edition) there will be continuity issues between the other maps that come with the game and the first map pack. I think it'll be like "Five", linked to the story, taking place at the same time as one of the main maps, but not crucial to the story.

  11. It's funny this should come up. Just earlier today, I was in a game with randoms on Call of the Dead. This one guy was trying to do a glitch I had never seen before. At the end of the ship, by Mule Kick, he would do a glitch where he would get on top of the crates and be unreachable by zombies. The other two would go down right beneath him and he would do nothing, leaving only me to revive them. At the end of each round, he would leave a crawler so that he could go buy ammo, perks, etc. I retaliated by killing the crawlers before he could get back into the glitch, which finally caused him to rage quit at round 16.

I don't tolerate cheating. Taking a break using that glitch on "Five", sure, that's alright. But cheating simply to get to a higher round, that's where I draw the line.
