  1. Why didn't I see this thread earlier?

I don't have too many particular memories. In particular, the "don't revive me," people. Man, glitchers were stupid. It was so fun hearing their screams as I revived them.

First time playing Nacht. I'm freakin out, because I'm scared of everything. I go to the far end of the bunker and stay at the window to the right. I hear noises, but I don't know what they are. Silence. I'm freaking out right now. I turn around to see a zombie staring at my face. I say "holy shit," knife it, and then immediately go to my menu and quit. Funny how much I've changed, haha.

Surviving with randoms in general. It was always a blast back in that game.

Sooooo many memories, I can't list em all. Many of them blend together, so it's hard to pick out my favorite moments.

  2. I remember back in the day me and MMX used to argue with each other. Like, really argue. To the degree where he kicked me off the credits to his zombie trilogy thread/video. Looking back, I don't remember really insulting him, more like stating I didn't agree, probably in a more aggressive way than I should have, and so the feud began. I think he probably overreacted a little, but I set him off more times than once and initially left a bad impression with him. Keep in mind we were both stubborn in our opinions, which made everything worse.

My point is, remember to keep a level head. You never know how someone might react to what you say, so it's best to think through what you say first. If they do misinterpret what you say, don't fuel the fires like I did. Just calm down, and explain what you mean. With luck, they'll understand. If not, don't be immature about it (like I was. Man, I didn't realize how much of a douche I was back in the day).

As for all out insults, that should be obvious. Don't do it.

  3. Title says it all. What are you looking forward to in 2015? This year looks to have a lot of promise. You can count things that aren't confirmed for 2015 as well.

As for me, there's so much.

Final Fantasy XV looks to have a lot of promise. Not confirmed for this year, but it's still a possibility.

Persona 5 looks awesome. Wasn't looking too forward to it... until today, when this video released

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kotF62s1NBA

    That's what I call style.

Star Wars: Battlefront. Loved the old games, and really want to see how this one turns out. Hope there's seamless transition from ground to space combat.

    Zelda U looks good. Too bad I don't have a Wii U.

And Uncharted 4. I just hope they get rid of the bullet sponge enemies.

I'm sure there's a lot of others I'm forgetting, but for now let's hear all of yours!

  4. So since I finished the game, I'm going to add to what I think. Haven't played Dead Kings yet, though (waiting for the download to finish.... in 10 hours).

+ Arno was a good character, and I liked his relationship with Elise

+ The weapon and costume you get for beating the game are very cool

+ Cutscenes were very well done minus some clipping (no missing faces for this guy). Probably some of the most beautiful I've seen.

    + Dat WWII mission

    - The French Revolution really only seems like a backdrop. I mean, even 3 at least kinda made it seem like there was a war going on. The history felt like it meant nothing here

    - Short missions, and very few of them at that. It also seems like the characters didn't develop very much, as compared to basically all of the other Assassin's Creeds.

    - The stupid companion app. A good idea in theory, but the fact that there's already so much to do in the game makes the stupid nomad missions in it irritating. It's also kind of confusing .

    - Once again: the collectibles. I was initially going to get all of them, but I found it to be in my best interest to stop. It was fun in Black Flag, but that had Beautiful landscapes to traverse through, unlike this.

I give it a 6.5/10. There's a lot to like, but I feel like the games are losing their focus. This Kotaku article kinda explains how I feel: http://kotaku.com/the-best-start-to-an-assassins-creed-game-1681820001

  5. Been playing Unity the past week or so, so here's some of my thoughts about the patched PS4 version up to about sequence 6.

+Graphics are gorgeous. No um... "face" issues, as of yet.

+Customization is cool. I love being decked out in all red. Never felt right to change my color in the past AC games (except Pirate's Creed, because lets face it, it's about pirates. No assassin's white necessary).

+Murder Mystery's were a cool concept. Also, love them Nostradamus puzzles, because you actually have to think about them

-Story is quite barebones by comparison to other AC games

-Missions don't really feel all too diverse

    -Minor framerate issues in crowds.

-Climbing is shit. When it looks like you can climb up, you can't always. Don't get me started with windows. When I want to go around it, I go through it. At least the have a button just for getting in the window, though.

-Combat is slower, not as nice. Shadow of Mordor did it better.

-Too many collectibles. I feel like it was okay in past games, but at this point there's already way too much to do in the world.

  6. I think the vast majority visit here on PCs, and only do mobile when they have to.

Honestly, it really just does make more sense to have it as a feature that's at default turned on. People are more likely to use it that way. If someone has performance issues (I never do on mobile), then they can switch it off. Easy peasy. There is no good reason for it to be at default off.

  7. World At War already has a sequel; it's called Black Ops.

    Silly slade.

Besides, Assassin's Creed II had 2 sequels before moving on to III.

With AW not even had 1st DLC yet I cannot see the Activision PR room going into the next gear for the next CoD yet. I think this could simply be a troll by them and Xbox tbh.

It could well be. Might be Wolfenstein as well, that's the only other game that kind of fits the color pallet.

  8. So a lot of you have heard the rumors, and seen this leaked poster that came out a couple days ago

*Look up World at War II posters if you want to see it. Sorry, I forgot about the no leaks rule.

Many of you think this is fake. Understandable enough. I agreed. Until today.

    This tweet came from Xbox.

    pause-720x405.jpg

    That morse code?

"Presented by Xbox, 10am PDT, 1pm EST, May 4th 2015" The same day as the other poster, and reveal date of advanced warfare last year. My friends, it's actually happening.

Be warned, though. This isn't confirmed, however given the circumstances it seems quite likely.

  9. Oh, it's a free download? I might have to get this to play it with my sister, too, haha.

I've seen let's plays of this, and to be honest it's very impressive. Gives me hope for Silent Hills. This, combined with the names attached to it's creation pretty much guarantee I'll buy Silent Hills. I just hope I'll be able to defend myself unlike in this and many other games in the survival horror genre.

  10. What I know: It'll be good

What I don't know: Whether I'll be able to get it or not

What doesn't really matter at this point: The timeline. Seriously, though, we know next to nothing about the game, and you're wondering about the timeline? They had robots in the first chronological game. Technology is all over the place, so there isn't a way to place it yet. If I were you I'd wait till new information is released.

  11. Kingdom Hearts 2.5 for providing me with over 100 hours of play (possibly 200 by the time I'm completely done). I've very much enjoyed the new coat of paint, redone music, and the extra final mix stuff. 11/10

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor for delivering a solid play experience and blowing away my expectations. I hope to see another Middle Earth game like it in the future. The nemesis system was very cool, and I love the little bits of Middle Earth lore scattered about the game. 9/10 (story could have been better)

  12. I think whole brains/post counts etc. as some sort of milestones that one would need to get to some group imo is not a good choice to put as artificial barriers to get into any group. There should be just one criteria that should be asked and that is:

    Is he/she worth it?

    This

Although, I think in the case of veteran, it's kind of implied in the name that you've been there awhile. Other than that, it should be based on who the staff thinks deserves it.

  13. Hm, so no color for being around for years? That might be a good one to add. Even though I've been on this account for only a year.

I have kind of had an idea regarding this. No new colors methinks, but instead a little symbol  next to post count that dictates how long you've been around. An old forum I used to browse as a little kid had something like this, and I thought it was kinda cool. Maybe I'll make a thread on it eventually.
