I've given my reasons why I know he worked at the Pentagon... If you don't want to read them or understand them, it's not my problem... And thank you for finally proving why the thief is NOT Clarke. The Thief has even more equations than Clarke! So what if they have the same ones on their faces! What's easier making an entire pattern of equations from scratch or building off an already made one... Why the hell would you write that many equations on his cloak if he already has some on his arm...

Honestly this is the reason I think they look so similar. Treyarch used the same exact number texture for both the Thief and Clarke. But only the numbers. The facial structure is obviously different and they definitely not the same person at all. They probably used those number patterns to emphasize that this man was obsessed with numbers and possibly a bit insane... Yuri and Richtofen anyone? Hehe... Anyways if they were going to emphasize it, making a compleeeettteeely different pattern with different equations would be extremely redundant and time consuming. This option was a lot easier...

Alright... So lets brainstorm a sec can we... We know the Germans probably knew about Aether because they were near experts on teleporters and the chalk writing says Return Through Aether. So perhaps the Americans was also aware of the Aether and I apologize for getting technical here... I usually like to embrace the "general" idea of things unlike other people. But lets get technical for this one sec. Maybe the Americans knew that to teleport you must travel "through" the Aether. This Aether they knew was dangerous and contained certain entities and so they designed their machines to avoid it. Hence they must "contain" it. Thats just my two cents of course.

Oh sorry for the late response to that. I kind of missed that. They say breach detected because there is someone coming "from" the actual teleporter. If somebody used one of the teleporters to get to another teleporter like we use them in Five, it's not a breach. The Thief though came from an outside source...*cough* *Aether* *cough*. Thats why it's a breach.

Don't put down that last point. That is completely unsupported. If anything we know he DOES work in the Pentagon.

Take me a picture of when Dr.Clarke got shot, and the picture of the Thief's dark patch and I'll reconsider Clarke being the thief. And where do you see the resemblance between Clarke and Steiner. They have completely different hair and faces... Now come on and try to at least put some thought to this. Dr.Maxis mentioned an American Operative in the U.S. It's been 30 years since then, and obviously the spy must have aged a bit. Perhaps, for all of these years he has been working with 115, maybe, Maxis or Sam spoke to him similar to Yuri. Maybe he is taking these guns to the Aether for some reason... DISCUSS.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. He obviously worked at the PENTAGON. They wouldn't call him the "PENTAGON" Thief if he didn't have some sort of relation to the "PENTAGON". Obviously he would come out of the teleporter or teleport! Do you think he is just going to sit in his office waiting for you??? I'm pretty sure Treyarch at one point made a mistake somewhere and labeled the thief as the "Pentagon Technician". I'll try to find the source, I know I saw it somewhere. If I am wrong, just use logic. He is obviously a Technician. He has those monocles on which are used by Technicians... He has a lab coat on... Finally there is a testing area with lab coats and a winters howl. If I remember there is a Winters Howl on his back isn't there?

Maxis's death is unconfirmed which means he is somewhat likely. Clarke on the other hand is the leaaaassst likely. He got shot in the head right in front of us. If the shot didn't kill him, then the fall definitely did. Why does everyone think this thief has to be a known and seen character? I know somebody else mentioned this, and I'm not claiming this idea as my own, but I do like it. Perhaps this thief is one of the "American Operatives" Maxis spoke of. Obviously he wouldn't send in an old guy like this thief, but this was roughly 30 years ago. So he fits the age requirement I suppose. I won't do all the discussing so.... I COMMAND ALL OF YOU TO DISCUSS.

Yes, I also see your point, but Treyarch can't make a map taking place in the entire world. If there was a map without 115, there would be no wonder weapons, and Samantha wouldn't care...

Zombies are coming from "outside" of Kino which means they have taken Berlin. And like the televisions show on the zombies screen, Nova Gas Crawlers are on the street too. "The Countdown to the Zombie Apocalypse has begun". All of this foreshadows, dum dum, Zombie Apocalypse. Apocalypses don't happen in isolated areas do they...

Contained? Really? It's spread to the god damn Pentagon and Russia for gods sake. It's not contained at all.

Er... you have to think of this from both sides... From programming and Treyarchs side and from storyline perspective... I'm near positive Treyarch used nearly the same character model as Dr.Clarke and then spiced it up a bit to look like a scientist. They did the same thing with the ordinary zombie characters. Nikolai looks like Chernov. Tank looks like Polonsky. And Takeo looks like a Japanese Officer. See, just the same model, definitely not the same character. Though not so sure about my last one... Takeo probably was a Japanese officer... Also Clarke's body was in Kowloon, China... China wasn't an axis power... Not to mention if he was alive, why would he grow hair at the same time shave his beard? Use logic next time.

Well if Berlin Fell, we wouldn't technically be able to fight in Berlin Wall would we? And I know its based on real life events, but Obviously the TV Tower wouldn't finish construction in this time line... And if Treyarch wishes to make a sequel to Black Ops, they wouldn't be able to because because of the "Zombie Apocalypse". So no matter what you think there is going to be a distinction.

Hm... I'm interested... Do you care to expand on that theory of yours? And yeah, the guns have absolutely no effect on this time line. Never use it to pinpoint the time in Call of Duty storyline since its extremely inaccurate. Now, I think that we should have to gain some understanding of the time line of this "zombie line". Obviously, the Black Ops Campaign will be completely different now from the Zombie line. So, lets try to think outside of the box more often. Yes, the TV Tower was starting to be built in 1965. But obviously it has stopped construction as seen in Kino. Now I don't think it will resume anytime soon because of the Zack Attacks. My point is I don't think making a Zombie Time Line will be entirely accurate because your including real life events that could not happen.

My bad, I deserve a slap, it does take place in 1945... And since those phones are at Ascension, I believe "Five" and "Ascension" take place at the same time...
