  1. I'm curious about those red powerups floating above the monkies and why they were cycling (first it was a nuke, then carpenter, then double points).

What do you think the significance of the red powerups is?

  2. I'd like one as well, but I feel that the main crew wouldn't work so smooth in a scripted scene. I think sticking to one-liners might work the best...

    This.

I'd hate to hear Dempsey speak for more than one line.

I would however like to see an action sequence, maybe.

  3. I can't really see the orange, I think it's most likely Deadshot. Unfortunately. :|

Deadshot has a daiquiri glass on top of it. I don't think that's deadshot.

It looks like it might not even be a perk machine, but rather some piece of he temple. If I did have to guess though, I'd say jugg.

  4. In one of the radios on CotD, Richtofen says that he thinks he killed the "specimen from Mexico".

    Mexico, you say?

That would explain the writing in Spanish part, but what exactly does that writing mean? (I mean a legit translation, not an internet translation of sentence fragments) Who was this person, and where do they fit in to the story, if at all?

As for the map itself, I read in another thread that the map is of Mayan Origin? Possibly another Central/South American nation? This could be a clue to our jungle map, or perhaps it in some way outlines the location of the map, similar to the boards in Der Riese.

Also, when trying to translate it, keep in mind some of the torn pieces are actually the pieces of paper around the map with the numbers on them. For example, the purple paper has a 6 and fits back into the poster in a way that the writing will then say

"Cuando los 6 -something illegible- juntos poder sera de nosotros."

"When the 6 -somethings- are together". That's all I know off the top of my head.

Last thought, could this "specimen from Mexico" perhaps be the person in the blanked out portrait?

  5. From what I had heard they were planning to make more packs than any other Call of Duty. Making the total map packs 4+ since World at War had three.

Though this is just by word of mouth and I cannot provide a source.

I think Josh Olin said that, but I can't provide a source, either.

  6. I didn't like him until today. Once I killed him and got a dg-2 and double tap, it was all worth it.

This was on top of jugg, flopper, deadshot, and speed cola with a pap'ed HK-21 and Hyena. The waffle got me through rounds 21 and 22. The max ammo I got somewhere in there + newly acquired double tap got me through 23 until I died in 24.

I'm going to be killing him a lot more often, now, too.

  7. It takes A LOT to kill him, but I assure you that it can be done.

I did it today in solo, and it took a full waffle, a whole death machine, a full v-r11 (not upped), most of a Hyena Infra-Dead, 3 or 4 full scavengers, plus other random damage from throughout the game. I got another death machine which finally put him down. He starts to spark orange instead of blue when you're getting close, and drops a waffle once you kill him. You also get a free perk, but it's not a pick-up, it just gives it to you.

He does return after like 2 rounds, though. This, however, does make it possible to get all seven perks.

  8. There's another radio on the ship. It's a little hard to describe where, but it's in the front half of the ship in the room/area with the flare. Go down the stairs and you'll see it in the water.

It's a recording of Richtofen and Dempsey.

will have a look for it now, thanks mate, ive found another radio on the deck of the ship, however it wont activate yet for some reason, maybe i have to find all the others first

There's one in the hero's room that won't activate, either. It's on a cabinet below the stairs.

I also really want to know what those metal objects by the water do. They make a fog horn sound when you press x.

  9. Whilst the power is on, when the screen flashes the pack-a-punch changes position.

The flares seems to be radios.

Also, the lighthouse light shows you where the machine is.

Flares are not radios. I thought the same thing about the one on the ship, but go down the stairs and you'll see a radio in the water.

  10. I've found one so far:

Go down the ice slide to speed cola, go outside, and it's basically straight ahead on a rock. It's a recording of Richtofen talking about the dg-2 and some experiment ( I couldn't listen too closely because George and a crawler were on me).

    Post any others you find!
