Yes I quite like that idea. Especially with no HUD it would add a fair bit of challenge. [brains]

Infinite Ward aren't even half the team they were back when they made COD4 and MW2. So many have left from IW that I just don't see them having any real potential to do anything good with the COD series. They probably will end up making another COD game however, because I am sure Activision will want as much money they can possibly get.

Eight player zombies is something I have wanted since World At War. I am really looking forward to seeing what kind of modes they have come up with.

I would like Treyarch to go a little further with the whole zombie idea instead of just a couple of new maps with a few new weapons or something. Maybe the normal maps where you have to try and survive as long as you can but also have maps with other objectives perhaps? Maybe a zombie campaign or something similar?

Yep I pre ordered the hardened edition today.

The DLC thing is instead of getting around 5 maps or whatever it is at one time they give it to you gradually and without charge if you have elite. If you plan on getting this game and all of the DLC I strongly recommend the elite because it actually ends out $10 cheaper (according to Robert Bowling) and you get it earlier, so why not?

I hate it when people praise WaW and black ops but spit all over cod4 and mw2. WaW wouldn't be what it is now if it weren't for cod4 because Treyarch took the game engine from cod4 and just changed it a bit.

What Johnson is saying is so right. Support for the game in IW after the game is out has been TERRIBLE in the past. Black ops tries to fix as many problems as possible and makes heaps of patches to do so. I like this.

Even though they don't have very good support and they have had some balancing issues I still think you are an ass hole if you hate on IW.

And when put with danger close, one man army was extremely over powered and made me throw the controller numerous times.

For me its semtex. The semtex sticking to walls and the frag rolling are both good in different situations. However I find when i am in a tough situation and i need to chuck an explosive the semtex is quicker because it doesn't need to cook so i have more chance of surviving.

But look at this, They are two different games and each attracts it's own crowd.

As far as how balanced I think this game will be, it should be much better than mw2 as far as balancing is concerned.

I will definitely be using the support point streaks. I always have enjoyed using UAV, counter UAV and predator (Or black bird in black ops) because it helps everyone in the team do better. And the fact that they don't reset when you die will make me far less angry when dyeing!

The only thing I am not sure about out of all that I have seen, is the assassin perk... Is this just another ghost? I hope not. Hopefully blast shield and hard line will stop it from being regularly used.

The reason I am concerned about assassin is I am a UAV guy. Love using them. But when I earn it and sometimes see NO orange dots on my radar I feel like it was a waste and whats the point in trying to be a team player?

They will both be good. If you don't like call of duty i suggest you get off of this call of duty forum and go to a battle field forum so you don't annoy people like me with stupid threads like this. Trying to tell people how bad mw3 will be and move them on the BF.

I want stacks of gun, kill streak and perk customisation. I don't give a damn about how my character looks or face paints or any of that garbage.

I own a ps3 however you should probably get it on xbox if you can because it will ave more players online, map packs earlier and most likely better support.

PS3 so rarely gets better support on games than xbox. Stupid...

I have played it a few times on co-op with Johnson and twice on solo. My highest was round 19 on solo.

Eh. They will both be good for different reasons.
