  1. You may be hanging up the green robes ol' friendo, but you'll always have the love from each and every one of us that has had the honor of being your friend. I remember our late-night Zombie sessions, whether it be Easter Eggs or just screwing around to get some rounds in before work.

Don't be such a stranger; you will stay here, FOREVER.

  2. Ah, my bad @Nightmare Voyager - it looked like the signature area to me. :P

If you open up the same user menu and click Account Settings, you should be able to click the "Signature" tab and see this:

Just wait a couple seconds for it to load and you should be good to edit. I know when we upgraded the forum to IPB, we allowed an option to enable/disable signatures. In that same Signature page should be a checkbox to view signatures.

  3. I don't believe they'll work a 1st person view into it; if that were the case, what would distinguish it from any other map excluding story content? DOA was made popular because of its old-school style playability, and I believe they'd want to keep it that way but with refreshed graphics and mechanics.

Also, I just want them to truly go all out this time. A crazy boss for each environment (if it still works like that). More weapons, more absurdity, more exploding cows with goodies inside, I need more insanity. If they're going to do a sequel to DOA, then they need to go all in.

Boss rounds in the original were absolutely amazing! They gave pretty damn good rewards and offered a challenge besides running little trains in such tight spots. Let's just hope that they make the bonus perk room not so far into the rounds like they did last time.

  4. I agree with that Slade. Its surprising that they only just announced this happening so it was obviously a case of whoever is porting it being like "this can't work" and then they will say the same about DLC. Could people preorder the game before this anyways on last gen? If so this is pretty much a rip off for them.

Pretty sure they could, and did. Hence why a few people may want to cancel said preorders. While the Campaign being removed is not a huge deal breaker, you still lose the intrinsic value of the game (believe me, I wouldn't pay $60 for a missing mode even if I don't play it after one run-through).

They learned last time what happens when you claim a promise but end up going back on it, hurting your credibility (I'm looking at you, Nuketown).

  5. @Boom @MixMasterNut I am totes down to do a get-together, haha.

@Nightmare Voyager The font isn't the same because Six Flags wants to keep it showing "the ride" despite how ugly it looks. In general, the font for Apocalypse is terrible anyhow. And fun fact: the only reason it's called that is because they couldn't get the rights to keep using Terminator, so they slapped on "Apocalypse" and removed any reference to the Terminator movies in the ride.

  6. i hate nuketown.  RIP map voting

Hey hey...I rig the votes by getting a party of 5. Nuketown all day until the map is no longer an option. ;)

Since Nuketown is the running theme for everything MP remakes, I could easily foresee another Firing Range map. Treyarch was wise to listen to their fans when they added Studio, and it's still one of the most-favorited maps of all time. Personally, I would absolutely die for a remake of it again.

(It totally has nothing to do with it being the only map I can actually do good on.)

  7. Frankly, as much as I hate for any diehards to have missed this, I'm hoping they can stick to it being truly limited. That was one of the biggest things that made it worth the money. Sure, you could price list, but regardless, $200 is a hunk for a game and a refrigerator you don't *need*, when you're financially challenged like I was.

I disagree; you're spending $60 on the game alone, and then another $60 for all the DLCs (or $50 if you nab the Season Pass). That's rough;y $110-$120 for those things, meaning the remaining $80 or $90 is with all the collectibles. I don't know about you, but a mini-fridge alone is generally $80 anyways so having a special one that is customized for us Zombies lovers is a damn good deal.

If you can't afford it (not you specifically, just generalized), then that's not their problem. Because there will always be someone to take that offer immediately and get a pretty good ROI down the line. Of course, I agree that it should be very limited...but at least in spurts, y'know? Hope they make another drop next month. I know my wallet it ready.

  8. Did anyone figure out what the Origins one was? Campbell? Jessica? Three Face? To be honest they could be linked to something but I always thought the conditions you do the jumpscare in mattered, thats why I think its Maxis not Nero. I don't know what a church has to do with though but all I know is that the Origins one has a moon in its eye so it could mean something.

? It was a girl's face but with skeletal features, as if undead.

I can definitely see the Moon in its eye, though; the dark part being space and the bottom being part of Griffin Station.

  9. I honestly thought it was more or less a depiction of God. Y'know, with MotD being in a satanic environment and all.

There are a few similarities, but the goofy eyes are really throwing me off. Plus, yeah the nose looks a bit different compared to Nero's.

I wouldn't count it out, though; Treyarch claimed these were linked in some fashion (as we have theorized many aspects on why it's connected) so there's a pretty damn good chance this jumpscare wasn't for nothing. I mean, look how connected Origins' jumpscare image was to the theme.

  10. If anyone is curious, @Hells Warrrior's channel description is Latin for an evil voodoo ritual which will turn you into nothing but dust instantly if you dare try to shamelessly self-advertise your channel within the forum itself. This means making a topic just to boost your "internet popularity".

  11. Ah, I didn't take that into consideration. But when something usually has a "founded back in 19xx" date, it would only appear briefly on a typical commercial, no? Repeating it back and forth makes it seem as if 1983 was the year. But I really hope that it's true and we can finally be relieved about the year. Very plausible. :D

I'm confused on your second point. You said that the Spring Suits were banned in 1983 and thus are not shown in FNaF 2. But that game also takes place in 1987. If the mini-games do show the Spring Suits, then that means they either 1) are happening in 1983 or 2) malfunctioned immediately after the bite incident? If that's the case, we know the spring suits were being utilized while the kid was visiting the restaurant which also means they haven't malfunctioned yet. So you're saying that the incident could have happened in 1987 yet the spring suits weren't supposed to be there? The mini-games contradict that.

(Note: I have a strange guess that Golden Freddy chomping down on the kid IS WHY the spring suits were finally classified as dangerous. The animatronic(s) didn't purposefully do it; they just malfunctioned as a result of the loaded spring which would give enough force for Golden Freddy's jaw to viciously chomp down on the kid's frontal lobe. Aside from the employees knowing how difficult it was to operate those dangerous suits, this would act as the final straw. Makes sense to me.)

Well, the kids were probably in a craze about everything Fredbear's. Seemed like the popular trend. But we know that the kid actually liked the place since he had plushes of all the original animatronics. It looked more as if he was terrified of the golden animatronics more. And judging how his brother and friends constantly leave him behind, they love going to the restaurant more than the kid. So as part of their amusement, they bring him there and taunt him about the animatronics before leaving the poor kid by himself. All that for the big brother to scare him shitless when he got back home. That's why I feel Purple Guy isn't exactly justified to be the father solely on them going all the time (in-game, the kid only goes for like 3/4 days actually, right?). But hey - that's just my view on it. If he actually is/was, then your theory makes 110% sense. :D

  12. I think we can all agree on one thing:

    the storytelling went to Shitsville.

They had so much potential in Outbreak and it opened up for various plots, and Infection made it a tad more interesting. But now we're at the final DLC of Exo-Zombies and what do we have in the story? Zilch, nada, nothing. It's just Oz this and Oz that. Way to build for an anti-climactic story, devs. We literally went nowhere in the middle of Infection and beyond. What a shame.

  13. Welcome to the family, friendo! You know it's a crime to have never played THE GREATEST MAP IN ALL OF ZOMBIE EXISTENCE (Moon), right? Well, that's just an opinion but still - get on it. ;)

Enjoy your stay and happy slayin'!

  14. So looking at FNaF4, I'm seeing lots of juicy info from the cutscenes/mini-games. That being said, I'm mostly intrigued on the scene where Purple Guy is helping another staff member into the Springtrap (formerly known as Golden Bonnie) suit.

I distrust all YouTube comments since they're full of children repeating the same irrelevant garbage but one thing came to mind: why show us this scene? Is it to let us know that PG has been here the whole time? I mean, we could've guessed that but at the same time, it doesn't necessarily change anything.

    Some things to note, though:

    • The Bite of '83 =/= The Bite of '87. We see in the TV displaying 1983 for the restaurant. That means the year in that timeframe is indeed 1983 and would also mean a different bite incident.
    • There are none of the original mascots as animatronics (Freddy, Chica, Foxy, Bonnie) in the mini-games, only Springtrap and Golden Freddy. We DO see masks and plush toys but there is no evidence [at least that I can't remember] of their animatronic counterparts. What's up with that?
    • Everyone has noticed the interchanging IV bag/medicine pills/flowers on the bedside dresser in the kid's room. I'm fairly certain that this is a hint to the child being in a nightmare - something not occurring. Reason being? Game Theorists made a solid point about the frontal lobe of the human brain to be connected with fear. With that part of the lobe removed, a person would have no fear. This child obviously is ridden with fear, so much as to hallucinate his beloved plushes into nightmare creatures trying to kill him. It doesn't add up. We know this game takes place afterwards anyways because of how fearsome Golden Freddy is compared to the rest of the Nightmares (excluding Nightmare himself).
    • Purple Guy is not the kid's father. Don't listen to YT comments; why would PG kill the kids - one of whom is the older brother which would still be his son - over his son's death? It seems easy to fool people, but don't fall into that trap.
    • The kid was hallucinating the whole time. In every cutscene, we see his Golden Freddy plush following his every move, even so much as to help him "escape" the restaurant when he was scared. It's ironic, considering the kid already had an irrational fear of the golden animatronics. Hence why the voice tells him that he needs to be brave and get past "them". Who's them? It's Golden Freddy and Bonnie (Springtrap). Every time a worker comes dressed as Golden Freddy, the kid cries. And this is after the voice tells the child that his brother & his friends left him alone, mind you.

This game is just one messed up quest. And with Scott planning add-ons in the future, it'll only make it that much more intense. People have already modded the game to jump to Night 9 and have found very little.
