How do I delete my own topics?

I was trying to delete a topic that I figured irrelevant after a while, and I cannot find out how to delete a whole topic, or even a single post.

The only way you can delete your own topic is if no one else has posted on it yet. If they do, only a mod can delete it. The same goes for your posts, you can delete them until someone has posted after it. What you can do, if you want it deleted, is ask a mod, but if a topic becomes irrelevant, usually it'll just stay there for a while.
