  1. we still don't know what exactly is happening

One of the big problems wrong with Exo-Zombies right there. It's a 4 part story, and we're getting the final part soon, and yet nothing important has happened.

Outbreak at an Atlas Facility, four people survive. Said people are taken by Atlas to a town. Then Sentinel take them aboard a ship after killing one of the characters, and the remaining three try to escape.

That's all that has happened. It lacks the mystery and intrigue that the Treyarch Zombies storyline holds.

Anyway, that's just my opinion on the story.

  2. He survived because Tranzit is in the 60s as well.

    TranZit is in the 2025s.

Die Rise has been proven to have been in that time frame. So unless you want to say that the Earth was already blown up by the time of Call of the Dead, and that the N4 had time traveled to get to Die Rise...

1 Poster proves it when 115 brings things through time? There is no backing for that claim whatsoever

Wait i got mixed up. Kino and CotD is 2011 i think i might be wrong but i know there not in the 60s but the moon and nuketown are. Why isnt the earth blown up in kino and CotD

Kino is actually in the 60's, however CotD is in 2011. CotD wasn't blown up, because the events of Moon hadn't actually taken place yet.

  3. Also someone who seriously looks like Marlton appears in the mural and loading screen on Ascension.

It's probably Gersch or Yuri, but whoever it is, it definitely isn't Marlton.

  4. I agree with most of what you said, but why would Raven intentionally make it shit? I mean, wouldn't they want to build up on what Treyarch has done and make the mode even better?

I think additions like the weapon upgrade system were added to keep players playing longer, and giving them more things to do, because as we all know, Zombies begins to get boring around round 20 or so. Obviously, people have reacted negatively to these additions, and Raven still include them, so it's definitely strange, with what they're doing with the mode.

I definitely don't think they are putting serious effort into this game-mode. They have not tried to make each map unique enough to warrant any love for their work. When you play a Treyarch map you have a wide choice of maps with different challenges so it gives the game-mode depth. With Exo-Zombies it's 3 maps so far that are all pretty much identical in features with only the location changing. You are using the same things against the same enemy on different terrain.

There is nothing to seperate the maps meaning there is little point in playing Outbreak or Infection because Carrier has all the same stuff plus a few new features. It really does leave the impression that they are not interested in community feedback and are just putting it out as they wish with the purpose to not outshine Treyarch. I am only guessing this though and I could be wide of the mark but I have invested time in Exo-Zombies and bought all the DLC. Infection was actually decent enough and the layout and look resembled a proper zombie map but Carrier is just horrible.

Yeah, there's very little to differentiate between the maps. Add to that with a lack of story, character development, an annoying upgrading system, and you get a very mediocre gamemode. I'm hoping DLC 4's Exo-Zombie map will be better than all the others, but at this point it won't even be worth purchasing when Black Ops 3 is right around the corner.

  5. Am I the only one who loves exo-zombies? It's a neat twist to the zombie mode and the story is actually pretty interesting, not going to lie. I'd be interested for it to come back to AW2.

I liked AWZ, it was nothing compared to treyarch but it was a lot better then extinction.

My problem with Exo-Zombies is that it has no unique differences between each map that you find with the Treyarch zombies maps. The literally took everything from Outbreak and put it in Infection with the addition of a large boss and mid round objectives making it a bit of a cluster fuck, only to then do the same with Carrier. Same boring dog rounds each map, same infection rounds each map, same EMP zombies, same Red zombies which we don't have a clue what they do, same trash reward for the EE's minus some short and unfulfilling sequences, same weapons, same perks etc.

Treyarch maps have a uniqueness to each or at least most maps. We have different challenges to each map we need to overcome while Exo-Zombies is just an absolute cluster of mess with no balance to it at all. It may be fun to play for some but it's pretty garbage when you look at it from a wider perspective.

I am still convinced Raven are intentionally making it shit because they were forced into making it and don't want to outshine Treyarch.

  6. Perks aren't even confirmed in the maps, it has a high chance of not being in the Giant and Shadows of Evil has those gumball machines that have different locations, it doesn't look like perks are even in that map.

I think Perks will more than likely will be in Black Ops 3. Those gumballs only seem to have temporary effects. I mean, they are including a Juggernog mini-fridge with the special edition, but then again that could just be the case since it's more recognizable than a gumball machine. I'm guessing something has changed about the Perks, but what I don't know.

About PHD, is it possible that there's no sliding in Zombies at all, and it's just dolphin-diving like usual? Or like BestOfAllTime mentioned, it could just come back as a 2.0 Perk with sliding abilities instead of dolphin-diving.

  7. The previous COD's have sold more on the 4, than the 1, and that was without marketing. Couple that with Sony saying over 50% of current PS4 owners did not own a PS3, and you have quite the migration.

And how exactly would they know this? These type of statistics are based on Sony asking maybe 100 people who were purchasing a PS4 if they ever previously owned a PS3 and base it on that. They don't take into account that some of these people asked are children buying their first ever console and not that they switched sides. They do not reflect the numbers they claim to. Not even close.

His posts have at least been consistent in their lack of validity.

I do have an honest question though for any PS4 owners.  Is there any specific reason you chose a PS4 over an xbox one other than just console loyalty?  maybe someone who bought one that previously only owned an xbox?  They seem identical to me.  except for the controller and the interfaces.

I did have a 360 before the current-gen consoles, mainly because that was where most of my friends were. So, when the next console gen came around I choose the PS4 because, once again, that was where my friends were.

  8. They said they weren't planned on doing any more "revisited" maps.

They said they weren't planned on doing any more "revisited" maps.

If they were, they wouldn't admit it right there and then.

No they flatout said that on the agenda there is little to no hope of another remade map for black ops 3. Why would they? There's only going to be a single zombies map after the giant released with DLCs 1,2, and 3 at the LEAST. Possibly/Probably DLC 4 as well. Why would they piss people off with a "Sorry mate, we weren't original enough to bring you a new map, so.. HERE'S KINO AGAIN!

Treyarch know they can make lots of money with Zombies. Look at the special edition for Black Ops 3. It's mainly Zombies-orientated. I'm not saying that any of the map packs will have remade Zombie maps instead of new ones, but nothing's stopping them from releasing old maps as micro-transactions, and if they think they can make money from them, they'll do it.

  9. Where in the comic is it the incorrect order in BO2? How does 1915 even relate to Origins?

I think he meant the correct order in terms of chronology.

Also, 1915 is only three years off when Origins takes place, so it isn't out of the question, that the loading screen might be foreshadowing that map.

  10. Charlie Intel just posted that the beta will be exclusive to PS4 from August 19th to August 23rd.

A lot shorter than what I thought it'd be :/ I was hoping it'd at least be 7 days, possibly even 2 weeks.

Xbox will probably get the beta from the 23rd to the 27th then.

Why would you want it to be two weeks?

  11. This reality's sam is a guy maybe?

Well... There's also the chance that the anouncer just has yellow eyes too. I mean theoretically speaking everyone could become the announcer at one point, and if that's the case at least a few of them are going to be yellow eyed controllers.

But from a design standpoint, Treyarch have only ever done four colour's. There's so many colour's to pick besides yellow.

  12. Still upset they haven't released this trailer yet since this is the one that might give us more insight to the story. But there are some phone recordings of it from the convention. It's pretty much how LILNIG described it. The trailer starts as Richtofen just finishes teleporting Maxis. Then the clock stops and the Origins Dempsey, Nikolai, and Takeo show up.

They sound like they know about the events that happen from Der Reise on.  Then Nikolai says a "great evil approaches. There is a chain of events that must be set in motion."

Takeo then says they "must awaken the test subjects." (meaning them perhaps) Then the zombies start to storm the place. Richtofen tries to open the teleporter to maybe escape. The others warn him that he doesn't want to release whats in there. When he does, Origins Richtofen steps out and shoots the other Rich in the head.

Thats the end of the video I saw.

We won't see the trailer soon. Call of Duty's Twitter tweeted out a Periscope video (if that's even the term to use) in which Jason Blundell says The Giant cutscene was exclusive to SDCC.

  13. Map looks great to me. It's nicely designed, looks quite big too. That three-headed monster, the flying monsters, and the power-up that apparently turns the player into a monster makes me hesitate. Besides from that though, it does look pretty good. The characters seem to have pretty interesting backgrounds, and are pretty funny too. I swear, if we're getting the Type 100 back, we better get the Tommy Gun back too.

  14. According to Treyarch we still haven't found all the Easter Eggs in the current zombie maps.... So there are things we are still missing that might help us understand more.

Did they say anything about which maps still have Easter eggs? I mean, all the maps have been searched thoroughly again and again, so it's surprising to hear we've missed something.

  15. Why does every "mysterious" game I like involve time travel?

Anyway, I hope it'll be a "huge" Der Riese, not just a remake. If you know what I mean.

If it is a remake, it's kind of a let down, as nearly every zombies fan knows Der Riese.

A remake is building it from the ground up. I think everyone's thinking of a remaster lol.

    Hidden Content

Yeah, I saw that, but do we know that they were actually there?

  16. Ok so character run-down:

    -Boxing champion

    -Harlet

    - Good but Dirty Detective it seems

    -Mad man circus professor.

    Oh, and Cathulu.

Also anyone else think its a bit self-absorbed to build a continuation onto BOTH of the maps Jason Blunder was a part of?

Not really. I think most people would agree with me in saying we wanted to know what happens after Origins, and we wanted to know how mob fit into the storyline.
