These people need to know what is bullshit and what isn't so try to explain to any kid, teenager, or adult out there that they shouldn't waste their time on stuff like the golden boots. Here is a quote one that I just heard from a random "so all you have to do is dig in every spot 5 times then you will be teleported to a room below staff chamber, a switch will be sitting against the wall in this dark room, go and hit it and the golden boots icon will pop up on the left side of your name, not the right! make sure you do this kid! you need to do it correct and in order!".....People these days I tell you. It's trollers like this that cause problems, kind of creative though I will hand it too them . Anyway another guy in the game argued with me about something that didn't seem to make sense so if anyone could also shed some light on this subject that would be great. He told me that to get the golden shovel you dig in every spot on the map, then told me that to get a glowing dig site for the free empty perk bottle you must have all the dig sites up otherwise they don't show up anywhere because a glowing dig site can't show up without a normal one next to it. He then went on to explain how bad a player I was at zombies and insulted me for being a random. Anyone mind breaking this myth?

no its dig 30-50 times in the map and ull get a golden shovel. use it when u got zombie blood and find an empty perk bottle thatll give u a fifth perk. ive seen it done utube it

I did watch the whole thing. And admittedly, I don't know what to make of it. Suggesting that it'll continue with Eddies turn, which would be the N4, seems a bit rubbish now that we know none of it is real. And I think that their games were about to come true, is extremely far fetched and doesn't make any sense tbh.

Eddie being Richofens son baffles me the most. That's just desperate thinking to be honest

And I'm not meaning to say everyone is. I personally would love to see it continue, and I pray daily for them to surmise me, but they solved all plot holes and all stuff like that with the ending we have. So it all makes sense

i wouldnt say im clawing for any hope its facts. secondly nobody is saying he IS richtofin or hes the son, im just saying they are probly the same person since it is a game. yes it was all a game boohoo but make more levels and carry on the story.

we all have seen the ending scene. few things i want to point out that really stuck out.

eddie, we all know hes a liar...we all know he resembles richtofen thats why his name is eddie. funny hes holding the richtofen doll. also just to note the bed they are next to has eddie with a score and sam with a score. how many times they gain control and win?

sam goes on to listen to her dad which is very important info. why would they need to close the windows? someone gonna bomb them or is it the zombie outbreak?

eddie goes on to say "do as your dad says." which i find funny because richtofen was maxises friend and didnt like sam from the radios in der riese makes sense hed side with him.

looking at the room their in you know youve been to a room like it. but did anyone notice the teddy that looked blood stained? or the gargoyle head that just happened to be in the shape of what reminded me of hell hounds in MOTD?

what about the fact that the charactors action figures are all BLOPS1 form?

or did you notice one of the zombies looks like its got a cowboy hat on...buried?

does eddie look like huckleberry from buried too?

but the biggest part that sticks out is,

"i didnt get to make my turn." "tomorrow eddie, youll get to make the rules." i think this may be a foreshadowing of the next maps or game if there will be one. my logic says this is the end but my heart and soul scream

So we remember how the first intro for Origins had an older Samantha, and the real intro had a young Sam right?

Well in the map the announcer is an older woman is it possible there are two Samanthas?

This is kinda out there and It would involve some moving between realities, but whatever.

Uh *edit*, while powering a generator as Richtofen, he shouts "Are you behind this Samantha?"

Or group 601 is who were seeing get killed and they started but died with what happened hence der riese being where the symbole shows up plus group 601 dissappearing

That doesn't really make sense...we know 935 was the group shown in the trailer considering their insignia (complete with "935" in the center) is shown in the trailer twice. As for the Der Riese stuff you mentioned...I refer you to the link above.

Hello there everyone. Today we saw the very amazing intro scene for Origins, however, this leaves me with a few questions, and I may have answered them. The only question I have yet to answer is "Where is Maxis?" but we'll get to that later.

Firstly, I want to talk about Richtofen in the video, as this is something that nobody seems to be talking about. In the scene where he is introduced, we see that he is finishing up surgery on some unlucky person/zombie. The identity of who this is NOT relevant in this theory. What IS relevant is that after his face shot with his name, he slowly brings his hands up to the face, and looks at them with a very confused look. Shortly after, we zoom out to see our heroes preparing to take on the zombie threat. But Richtofen is doing nothing. He's standing there, looking around, and looking very confused. But why?

Because this Richtofen is not the one that belongs there. He is a Richtofen, sent from the future, and popped into his younger self. Why? I dunno. I don't make the storyline, but it just makes sense.

Let's look at it this way. If you noticed that you were suddenly your younger self and you were reliving a day from years ago, would you not be very confused and awe struck? Yes, you would be. I guarantee it.

That's all about Richtofen I want to talk about for now.

"But Tak! When are we going to get to the giant robots! That's why we're here!"

Fine. We'll talk about Richtofen a little bit more, but we'll throw Maxis into it too.

The opening scene in the very beginning gives us everything we need. Let's look at a specific quote.

Two German scientists sought to harness dark and mysterious forces buried for centuries. They believed their discoveries would assure Germany's ultimate victory.

This is the only thing we need to know, aside from the history of Maxis and Richtofen's rivalry.

I feel that it is very safe to assume that the buried force is referring to element 115, as I doubt they actually knew the zombies in the tomb were actually there. They planned to utilize element 115 for energy, but in different forms. Richtofen wanted to use it to create the Ultimate Human Soldier. This is what he was doing in the intro scene when he was first introduced. He was testing the effects of 115 on a body. I'm sure of it.

Maxis, however, used a different approach. Maxis wanted to create a super soldier, but he created a MECHANICAL one. An iron giant, if you would. This is the robot that we see in the cinematic.

Throughout the story of Black Ops 2, while not IMMEDIATELY revealing any evidence about an actual plot, did give us a major hint about Origins throughout the maps, minus MoTD. They hinted at a struggle between Life and Machine, between Richtofen and Maxis. Whether it was killing zombies to power a spire (Life), or collecting the energy of Him (Machine), flinging zombies into a radio tower, or bouncing metal balls from trample steams, or even the different methods of collecting the wisps in Buried. Maxis even talks with us through electronics, while Richtofen just speaks normally!

The hint has always been there.

That's essentially all I have for this thread. Thanks for reading, and maybe I'll be back with a crazy theory. Maybe.

UPDATE: I'm currently working on a concept that essentially wraps up all the games, essentially ending the story. The concept that I'm working out right now is that it is actually that either Richtofen sent himself back, or Maxis sent him back so that way they can guide younger Richtofen in what to do? The voices in Richtofen's head? It's been Richtofen. It's always been Richtofen. But it's been a Richtofen that knows what he's doing. Essentially, Richtofen/Maxis sent him back in time, into younger Richtofen's body so that way NONE of the story ever happens. Maxis keeps his daughter, Richtofen has his body, and the zombie infestation is done. Over.

The only reason I'm considering this as even remotely possible is that Treyarch is very heavily hinting that this isn't just the beginning, but it's also the end.

This explains how he knows how to stop or try to stop maxis. Such as how he knew about the golden rod, shangra la ect ect. Just pointing it out that maybe this isnt the first time this has happen to poor edward. Maybe he wasnt always insane and all the time traveling has gone to his brain? Quick restart the xbox and lets play again tehehehahahaha spleeeens

However, my shortened, guick response is that I believe that that isn't young Richtofen. It's actually older Richtofen who got placed into younger Richtofen's body. Although, I think I may have come up with something much more sensible but still around those lines. I need to go compile some information.

I actually really like that theory, Future Richtofen going into his past self (somehow) maybe to change something?

In all the radios before Richtofen touches the MPD, his voice isn't as high pitched and he's calm. Literally, after he touches the MPD, you can slowly hear the transformation into the Richtofen we know now. After hearing Richtofen so much in this game, I'll welcome a different Richtofen.

Thats what i was thinking. Then they released the intro and the look on his face when he cut through the zombie and saw the blood was a "wtf am i doing" face. Its like hes not insane YET. But we see how he transforms i mean look at his face. It isnt as twisted as it usually is in the games. Makes me wonder if hes gonna be crazy or if hes going to be dare i say, normal?

Not what i meant. Supposidly if maxis rose to power hed destroy earth. Making everyone die o4 probly died on the moon but it hasnt been confirmed. Im just saying what if the o4 are in their own time loop and figured it out so they went back to the beginning again to try and stop it. Which is why they look young. Devil wouldnt want them dieing of old age.

The o4 died in buried but someone wanted to have fun and sent them to their own hell. The vials from the trailer could prove this as well as the whole eyes being different and I mean who wants to live through that shit agin and again? Unless their in a vicious cycle. Which is why its a "prequal"

Everyone keeps asking if richtofin will be insane. If u look at the pic of the o4 in what looks to be a cave, he doesnt have that "i sommenly swear that im up to no good" look. Id post the pic but im not sure how to since i typed this on my ipad. But has anyone noticed how more detailed our original crew are? I think its cause they figured out how to go back in time and end their cycle for good
