In this particular times, inferred from the letters, Germany was the only "side" that wasn't common: Russia, America, and Japan were ally's at the time I believe... IDK my memory on ww1 is a bit fuzzy... They may have spared richtofen because he surrendered...

Guys, now i might sound completely like an idiot, but what if, just what if the mysterious guy standing on top on the top right side of the page, is also Richtofen? Now i just sound like an idiot I know but the silhouette and that mysterious figure. I am just saying we cant ignore it, but then i am also saying i sound like an idiot.

EI'VE thought about this too... My thoughts are that either the inside of the tomb is shielded from sam's control, the outside of the tomb is the only place POWERED by sam's contol, or the inside of the tomb is not even our own time period...

I think we will have to rethink that now since the main easter egg is about Saving Samantha. I mean if she was in control, I dont see how we save her.

This brings the major question. Whats going on here? I mean we have to save samantha, at the same time we are going back in time in which samantha shouldnt exist.(I might be wrong since i dont know her exact age). Richtofen is suffering from the side effects of 115 (This was proven in one of the threads where a guy made a connection with the 6 th radio i guess, where maxis points out that the 115 is affecting him.), and the other three seem unfazed by meeting each other. I mean its world war one, you see enemy you shoot rite? But they see each other and they instantly forget about their current situation.

I am not saying the theory is wrong, but it doesn't make sense (at least to me). The silhouette really doesn't mean anything at this point, seeing as how they even took it out in the Buried comic page. How does it relate to the eyes, however?

Just about all of us zombie fanatics have seen the Origins trailer,which in my opinion by far the best zombie trailer,they made all of them look like total badasses. But anyway alot of people don't understand the giant robot roaming around.

my theory is that,obviously was created in der reise.I mean come on "the giant is rising",that's a pretty big hint,and group 935 wasnt only working with element 115,there goal was to make sure Germany would have a victory in the great war,and I giant robot could probably be pretty usefull in either of the world wars,but anyways,I believe it may have gotten teleported from der reise to France somehow maybe a teletporter maybe it walked there.But what I found interesting is that the robots head is glowing yellow,just like the zombies eyes,maybe whatever or whom ever is controlling the zombies is also controlling the robot,maybe every couple rounds there's a special round where the robot starts chasing after the players,and they have to stay alive for a amount of time,like dogs or minions. Also wheres Maxis in all of this?Maybe the robot was teleported to France to stop the zombies,maybe they sent a distress call or something,maybe Maxis is controlling it,so many theories,questions,and answers all over the place.Comment what you think about the Robot.

Correct me if I am wrong but since this is the beginning Maxis has no reason to chase Richtofen or the others rite? I mean Richtofen didnt show his true self tell later in the story? But that aside i think its highly unlikely Maxis is controlling the Robots because then he would be helping us out.

But i will agree with your one question, WHERE THE HELL IS MAXIS?

I mean first we just hear his voices in the radio, but then we get to see his face but there is indication as to where the hell is he throughout this whole situation?

Cool observation I didn't really notice how Richtofen's picture looks like the silhouette from the Die rise comic. I don't think it means anything except an old hint that the old characters were coming back soon.. but awesome find nonetheless.

When people first saw it everyone thought it was maxis, but look at him in the trailer! He looks nothing like the silhouette. I do not know what it means but its just an observation. I am just saying that richtofens head fits the silhouette better.

or in other words debugging that silhouette being Maxis.

My theory , which i have put forward before, is that maybe like the ghost , blue zombies only occur after you enter the area...

I wanna discuss 2 theories I have about the things that struck me when i was watching the origins trailer. I havent read these anywhere and if these have been discussed then i apologise beforehand. So lets begin....

1.) Blue eyed zombies :- By now you must have already noticed that there are two different eye colored zombies. My theory is that maybe the Blue color zombies only appear if you enter the tomb shown in the cut-scene. I mean every clip we have where gameplay is shown shows only orange or yellowish coloured zombies being slaughtered. This kind of gives credibility to my theory. This could be similar to the ghost in Buried.

2.) This one is a bit far fetched but just have an open mind.

Remember the Die Rise comic strip which had a silhouette of a man which we presumed was maxis?

Hmmm, the eyes do look similar to the wisp...

Looking back at some of the Buried EE quotes, look at how the wisp was described:

"Follow the wisp. He will show you the way"

"Energy cannot be destroyed, only transferred. You must sever the wisp's link to the undead"

"Keep going! The Wisp knows its energy is needed for the greater good"

"The Wisp's lifeforce has been exhausted, but further energy is required!"

"Maxis calls it a 'wisp'. It's really just a ball of lifeforce, imprisoned in this place for all eternity!"

Maybe what (or who) the wisp is can be explained somehow through this?

I had no clue that the wisp was actually a separate entity. And when we do Richtofens side we have to take it to the HangMan's Noose , as Rechtofen said "Ah the Wisp is such a tricky little sausage. I think he may have chosen to return to his points of origin. That's just a fancy way for me to say: 'START AGAIN!". Now for Richtofen to say this means maybe the wisp was somebody we knew? or somebody that holds great importance?

As someone mentioned that maybe the force from Die Rise is connected in this. I think it is highly possible since we totally forgot about it. I mean i sure did with all these maps coming out. But i highly think there might me some connection. What if the Entity that samantha mentioned back on Moon was not actually Lucifer but this entity. Could explain the color. Again i am colour blind but could anyone tell me the Eye color of this zombie and the zombies in Die Rise is same or not? If not then this will be just another arrow shot in the dark. Also please check the cutscene for die rise when they are teleported. Maybe the color might be same. Maybe......

Ok so you are telling me that richtofen is controlling the zombies. I am colorblind (no joke) so help me out and tell me is this the same color as Rochtofens cause if it is this is some serious fucked up shit. I mean as if we werent mind fucked already!!

Whats the thing with blood vials? I missed that one :?

I spelled vials wrong, damn. That aside in the trailer , the very first one, they show the close up of all the characters and Richtofens character has two blood vials on his waist with numbers on it. These numbers are the prisoner numbers for Sal and Finn (My favourite character!).

Well to be honest what i really think is that maybe this is just a start over to fill the Gaps, but as someone suggested that the blood viles are just there for a nod, i strongly disagree. I have been shot down many times so I will be ok if you reject this but there is a connection. Nikolai's name and these blood viles is just too much of a troll dont you think?

Oh there is A connection to Alcatraz, even if it goes all "lost" and we end up with cursed numbers....

Also: Congrats! Let's celebrate this with the cutscene that I've been told will drop today!

Does their even have to be a controller? It's the 115 that reanimates dead tissue right?

Let's say their digging, it's obvious there is a war going on, people die. They find whatever it is that kick starts the outbreak, reanimates the dead soldiers and they just run rampant. That seems good enough explanation to me, the "controller" given they become strong enough, can control all the energy, zombies would be the easiest for whatever reason.

That could also be the case , but like i said who knows? We cant speculate until the opening cut scene that drops sometime this week....

Like the image treyarch released of the original 4 was pretty bad ass and then they said that they will release the Opening Cut-scene this week. So if we make anymore speculation, it should be after watching it. I mean when we see the trailer one thing will be confirmed or denied. Does time travel or the Original 4 being in the moon have connection to the current prequel O4.

As for the Alcatraz connection, (IN WHICH I STRONGLY BELIEVE), it will only be confirmed or denied once the map drops. Or, just a speculation, in the opening cutscene we hear Lucifer talking to most prolly Richtofen. Because then we will have another solid evidence that Lucifer was in control here and alcatraz. Also, another thing to note is that Alcatraz and Origins are not really that far apart. If origins takes place in 1918, then the time span is not that big

If lucifer is in control in Origins then the eyes would be red. plain and simple, he's not in control on Origins. I very highly doubt anything about Moon and Time Travel will be involved since neither have happened yet.

A: No one has said this map takes place in 1917, that's all speculation with the letters.. They say they "return to when the characters first met"...

B: MOTD takes place in hell... The've been there sense 1933, it's entirely possible their "cycle" is in a seperate time bubble where nothing ever ages... Meaning the GGB would never be compleated, and they've been sitting there fighting zombies for nearly 100 years now.... Never succeeding in breaking the cycle, until one day, four perk machines appeared where there wasn't noramaly: Juggernog, speedcola, double tap, and deadshot. Using their newfound drinks, the four were actually able to compleate the cycle 3 times without being "killed"... And having their memory's eraced (except the Weasle: He never had his mind eraced) and thus they could end the cycle: The Weasle who wasn't a Fallower of the sins:

Billy: Thou shall not murder

Sal: Thou shal not commit adultury

Finn: Thou shal not lie

Was able to escape the eyes of lucifer and thus, should he escape his wrong-doings in his freinds, would mean he would pass on into heaven... If not, the cycle is in tact and he is killed and forced to repeat the process....

The cutscene in the begining is not the real Alcatraz either, it's purgatory, a place where god would deside the fate of the Weasle, should he serve his sentence and wait patiently, he would Assend... However if he were to be fooled by his freinds and lie and murder... He would instantly be sent to a zombie-filled hell... The cutscene is why Weasle is in hell...

Dude i apologize man. You are rite, i saw the trailer again and there is no date mentioned. As for the B part you blew my mind. I SHIT YOU NOT, i never thought about it that way or knew that the three characters represent the three sins.

Now lets see here, 2 blood viles belonging to Sal who committed adultery and Finn who lied, both in the hands of Richtofen who actually committed both the sins. But he also murdered , so there is the flaw in my theory , but that aside thanks for enlightening me with this dude. And i apologize for being rude and shooting you down like that.

Dude, i wrote that Sal committed adultery and his blood is with Richtofen in the trailer. There is no apparent proof of him committing adultery anywhere. Though many times it is hinted that he is gay, but that aside no such proof of him committing any adultery has ever surfaced.

Nice research and find dude, i mean the circular markings and the markings on the ORIGINS logo are quite identical, too much of a coincident to be ignored. Also, to be honest i didnt understand about the pillars too much but from what i did understand , you could be onto something! Awesome research dude!

Also, maybe this is a stupid observation but notice for rusty cage we find the bottles for the Maluka's song we have to type 935. Any involvement of 935 in Alcatraz? I think not.

In the Origins trailer, Richtofen has blood bags on his belt, matching Finn and Sal's inmate number. You probably know he worked for Group 935.

Also, I found a hidden Alcatraz reference on the official Activision site. On the Origins bio. Hard to see, but it is visable.

Group 935 may not have had any involvement with Alcatraz, but both points are worth noticing....

Typing 935 in was one of the reasons that had me wonder if "where are we Going" was actually about these characters.

Also as you said the vials match Sal and Finn's prisoner numbers exactly and that's waaayyyy to coincidental in my opinion. Why would they just throw that in there if not to reference Mob in some way, they had to know that we'd make that connection, the question is why?

Thats the point man, These two maps are connected, we know that. How is the question. I mean we know weasel knows or hears Nikolai's name. We know that we enter 935 in that number board for the song. We know richtofen is carrying their blood. So assuming that he has their blood could it be that Richtofen collected the blood by their tomb. I know it sounds far fetched but these two maps arent that far apart . This was pointed out to me by Stop Mocking Me (I hope i wrote his name right.) in my thread which is about the MoTD reference in the origins trailer. Now we know they are connected, no doubt. But y and how is anybody's guess.

Purhaps the vials contain the sins he did not commit:

That could be but he did keep a lot of stuff from Maxis and as for adultery, if i am not wrong, he is gay and there dosen't seem to be any thing to suggest he has commited any of these acts so maybe you are correct there.
