  1. Well something to keep in mind is that we can see in the trailer is that the empty box location has the boxes with the teddy bear on top just like every map with the classic mystery box. So unless they plan on breaking the trend now, my money is on classic mystery box for the time being. However, it is quite possible that is just a placeholder and the real box location "stand" is yet to be implemented into the game.

  2. All this campaign team talk is irritating.. The only map they made was motd. Origins was classic team mostly. Anyway besides the point...

Buildables are great IMO im really happy the shield is back. I don't really see the swords being buildables, but I imagine there will be at least one other buildable item on SoE.

And to all the people saying no buildables in The Giant, I will be shocked if there isn't any. At the very least the shield will return.

  3. My guess is that they an actual weapon, like the ballistic knife, that does the samurai melee attack when you melee, and the unique effect (throw for fire, spike for electric) when you pull the trigger. Maybe with some sort of ammo system or a cooldown i guess

  4. Angel Arrow

    1/10

A golden mechanical bow, shoots a blue energy arrow that kills anything in its path. Zombies killed by it will glow, float a bit, then poof into a bright flash of light.

    Michael's Might

    1/16

The bow becomes silver and the arrows a brilliant violet. The arrow splits into 7 after flying for a few feet, but are smaller and fade out. The original arrow never fades until hitting a wall, making for some useful and very awesome "cross-the-map" kills.

  5. I like ice cause i can upgrade it by memory after games of using it. Wind is fast with a little reminding. So one of those two as long as everyone helps collect the parts. I think in a lobby everyone should focus on helping each other get staff parts. Lightning and wind particularly go much much faster this way.

And i see no problem calling out staves AS LONG as you are not a dick about it. Demanding fire (or whatever element) no matter what is plain rude. Ive seen plenty of people leave lobbies over staves. Thats why in random lobbies I just take whatever is left... Its not worth the fight.

  6. Sounds really fun! I had an idea kinda like this, but this is more fleshed out. I would love playing like this in a party. The fifth player is silent for a while then roars laughing when his carefully planned trap kills us all. So much potential for fun. (God i miss playing zombies with other people...)

  7. Tranzit was a postcard. They did it on purpose from a while back, you could see in the building up days a picture of a large board with a sheet over it way back before release. They had it on their website. Why exactly they did this I don't understand. Maybe all the maps were intended to be post cards at the time of release, and nuketown had a comic as an homage to bo1, as it is taking place at the time of it technically. But due to the negative reactions to transhit, they went back to the old screen formula to make people happy. The way I see it, the comic is a pretty large thing. With shi no and der riese being the first 2 official "pages" and the layout of verruckt on a paper slipped in the front. Kino and all the others are on pages, and five is an old photograph in between kino and ascension.

Tranzit is a postcard for an unknown reason, and nuketown and moon are on either side of eachother, with ads in the middle(see moon). As it is a comic. Then die rise and buried, then stuffed in the back, the mysterious blue prints seen in origins.

It's a rough idea but you get the picture. (sorry for rambling)

The point I was trying to make is, I think nuketown was supposed to be the final page. they clearly showed of a back cover, and ads are 90% in the back of comics.

They were transitioning to postcards, but switched back for nostalgia. But I can agree with you on buried. There are some huge holes in the story, and the wheel did not look anything like that on buried. But on the "leaked" image it looks just like it does on die rise. Things like the giant and the mansion where added pretty late on, developmentally speaking. And contrary to popular belief, The original zombies team had a huge hand in origins, so they were likely too busy with that to care much about buried.

  8. Returning features!

    -Wunderfizz

-Upgrade system outside of pack a punch

-Something similar to the maxis drone

    -Challenge Board

-Weather. I liked the snow and rain! Particularly rain is something i've been craving in zombies since w@w. Its so atmospheric.

-Variety of weapons. The one thing they still didnt add was the MSMC. But origins brought in some of my top choices for BO2 including the ballista and the KSG.

-Box weapon attachments. I think this should be a customizable option in the future. Maybe even from the wall... Choose a simple attachment you like for a weapon. Easy and not that huge but it would mean sooo much to me.

    -!Origins Takeo

Features that should never ever in a million years come back, or ever have been included in the first place.

    -Mud

    -Panzer Soldat

-Maxis appearance. This once seriously bugs me. He needed to stay unknown in appearance...

-A million of the same wall weapon. Seriously there are like 6 MP40's on the wall. 2 is enough.

-The rest of the !Origins crew. They drive me crazy and make me want to throw my controller when they talk. They are so dull, so lifeless...and they dare to call them by the names of our classic crew. Somehow Takeo became bearable as I mentioned before. Which is weird...now I want to be him for once.

  9. Oh…. Well then 3 generators then….

Interesting prospect... Origins is a bit tricky to start up and this would make things oh-so-much worse. And to answer your question, you can build and upgrade staves as usual regardless of generators.

Can we do bo1 map challenges?

Sent from my SGH-T599N using Tapatalk

Yes obviously! But most challenges have been done that can be on BO1. I just noticed it wasnt as prominent in the community lately which was pretty lame, as I love them.

  10. I'm bored with zombies, I havent played it in months and I really want to breathe new life into it. So I want to hear from the community what challenges they would enjoy doing with each other! (and...obviously myself ;) )

Here are a few of mine to set an example and get the ball rolling.

    -Example-

    <Challenge Name>

    Road Trip!

You are a wonderful little family taking a vacation in scenic Washington. Trees, Wildlife, Tourist attractions, and plenty of zombies!

If someone is having a seriously hard time, they may purchase jugg only.

  11. Big Bang

    1/10

A HUGE rocket launcher made of rock and ice. It shoots out an extremely tiny projectile that bursts into a large flaming nova upon hitting the floor. It is an insta kill weapon, and the more zombies you kill with it the higher chance for a power up there is. Each zombie adds 5%, capping out at 100% with 20 or more.

    PaP:

    Primordial Ooze

    1/15

The rock has melted down into sleek metal, but strange coral like growths have appeared all over the gun. The burst is now blueish, and sweeps further. Killed zombies turn into algae and coral on the ground, slowing and damaging zombies that run through it.

  12. As much as I WANT a real 3rd game mode.. I just can't see it happening. Unless Sledgehammer are huge trolls, they would have known better then to reveal Exo-Survival instead if they had something else cooking. Their pre-orders are so low right now... It's just looking rather sad. I will still most likely buy the game, but the season pass? Eh...

Overall you could say I am very disappointed. Sledgehammer had something good going for them, and they were foolish enough not to round it out with co-op.

  13. you know my opinion on this mocking, Just most of all it could be neat if the character linked to your mulitplayer, so you could have a few custom characters that are your lil babies to use in multi and zombies. My only thing that might get in the way is call of duty takes itself waaay too seriously. Ghosts cured that a bit with camos like blunt force and ducky. I want things like that to expand so we can have a colorful, fun, and silly game.

  14. Prince, it's all just too OP. Besides 10% more health, as in 4.4 hits with Jugg?

10% more bullet damage is just too much as well, especially since dt2 gives you double bullet damage, so essentially the tank would have 220% normal damage.

10% quicker healing would be much better.

Pulling out a gun with unlimited ammo? Come on.

Also if you think claymores would last until 45 you have no idea how zombies health scaling works

Ninja actually isn't too OP, minus the invisible thing.

A double damage claymore? Way too powerful. As is a claymore can easily wipe out an entire hoard of zombies in the mid 20's, 2 can do it well into the 30's, you want to double them up, and give an extra. That would last until 45 lol.

    Survivor isn't too bad.

Just take away all of the extra abilities, they would make the game too easy, and all of the OP bonuses.

And i thought i was the OP nazi.

Unlimited ammo, as in the death machine? Something already in the game?

Also you just proved your noobiness a bit. Tank seems the most attractive but it is actually the worst class.

  15. Based on mockings post, i'm rolling with it. You get the jist of it, list new buildable ideas along with their functions in detail and their ingredients.

Here are a few of mine

    Paint Turret

    Parts:

    -Easel

    -Pallet Board

    -Machine Gun

    -Wiring

Its a large easel, with paint splotches on the paper, and the gun shoots essentially paint balls which damage and add a random color splat to the zombie. Must be powered, but to be powered you can either hook them up to a power outlet along the wall, or use a turbine.

    Sliqui-Geyser

    Parts:

    -Fire Extinguisher

    -Purple Goo in a package

    -Hose

    -Cinder block

A large Fire Hydrant tied sideways to a cinder block. Being placed down it spouts out purple goo that will cover the floor in front of it with sliquifier-esc goo. Zombies will slip and slide, and i wonder what happens when you add fire? >: )

    Blow Dart

    Parts:

    -Bamboo Shoot

    -Stone Idol

    -Poison Vial

    -Wooden Boards

Place it down at a cross-road, and watch it go. It shoots darts at passing zombies, putting them to sleep exactly like the emp. Can be upgraded to toss out sleep gas "grenades" which put to sleep large groups. Upgrade requires 2 more parts, and 3000 points.

    Bonus Parts:

    -Dart Frog Sack

    -Empty Canister

    Hypno-Matic

    -Pinwheel

    -Pocketwatch

    -Mysterious Crystal

Based on one of the only cool things in extinction, it chooses a target and hypnotizes them. Hypnotized zombies stick near the player, attacking zombies that come too close. You may only have 2 hypnotized zombies at one time, and the device has a 30 second cooldown.

What are some of your ideas?

  16. I had already thought of electric pads ages ago, glab im not the only one.

I think it would be cool to have like 15 or so possible electric pad locations, but only enough parts to construct 3 or so.

Another cool thought of mine was that placing them near perk machines could auto-power them, as electricity is flowing there from some infinite wire source.

On the thought of turrets I had a fun idea for a new turret varient:

    Paint Turret

    Parts:

    -Easel

    -Pallet Board

    -Machine Gun

    -Wiring

Its a large easel, with paint splotches on the paper, and the gun shoots essentially paint balls which damage, slow, and add a random color splat to the zombie.

  17. This thread was poorly thought out...by which I mean not thought out at all, so allow me! :)

    BADASS(Tank):

    -10% More HP

Lucky you, survive two hits without juggernog! That is besides two in very quick succession (im talking milliseconds)  After purchasing Jugg, this is further increased to your advantage!

    -10% Increased Bullet Damage

    Do a bit more damage...yay.

    !-Power Skill: Walking Death

Double tap X quickly to pull out a huge death machine! Has unlimited ammo, and scales up damage so it is very useful no matter the round! Lasts for 10 seconds, and has a 120 Second Cool down.

    NINJA(Sniper/Melee)

    -200% Bonus Melee Damage

Knife in one hit on round three? Sign me up! (Applies to Bowie knife and Galva Knuckles as well. Does not apply to golden spork-esc weapons)

    -Build in ballistics CPU/grip!

This trained killer can't be held back like your average soldier, Keep that sway at bay with the NINJA! (applies to normal guns, but especially powerful on sniper rifles)

    !-Power Skill: Vanish

Double tap X quickly to become invisible. Zombies completely ignore you, snipers get an enormous damage bonus, and melee attacks become an insta-kill. Lasts for 10 seconds, and has a 120 second cool down. (NOTE: cannot be used when below 100% HP, its not intended to be an escape)

    SCIENTIST(Tactician)

-Frag Grenades are replaced with Shock Charges

These little electric dicks will damage, slow, and disorient zombies. Keep them at bay by setting them up at choke points for later, or be a crazy person and chuck them into a train...both ways work. Purchasing semtex grenades will create a tracking device sticky.. or TDS. Throw them around to make a mini-map, or stick a zombie to keep track of it until it dies.

    -Tactical Boost

Claymores gain increased damage and count, throw down this little baby with double power. And you get three every round! Tactical Grenades have a max total of 4, and you replenish one every round now!

    !-Power Skill: Z-Strike

Call in a powerful strike. This missile can go through walls or rock, whatever is in your way (cause eff logic its zombies). Has a 240 second cool down, and cannot be used more than once per round.

    BOOM(Explosives Expert)

-300% Increased explosive damage, this includes grenades, rockets, launchers...everything that blows up besides claymores.

    MAKE EVERYTHING GO BOOOOM

    -Extra BOOoOM

Frag/Semtex Cap increased to 6, Get 3 back every round. Missile launchers and such have +10 added to their total ammo reserves. Underbarrel launchers get DOUBLE reserve, and automatically come on papped assault rifles.

    !-Power Skill: BIG BOOM ASSAULT

Double tap X to pull out a large cartoony bomb in each hand. Tap LT/RT to toss them out rapidly, taking about half a second to pull out a new one per hand. You are temporarily immune to explosive damage. Lasts for 10 seconds, has a 120 second recharge time.

    SURVIVOR(Survivor...)

    -Honed Body

Boosted reload speed, running speed, switching speed, ect. (Not as fast as speed cola/stamin-up. Crazy fast with the aforementioned perks)

    -Suit Up

Tactical Mask/Combat Boots/Flak Jacket are all on your prepared body. Take significantly less fall and explosive damage, stun and gas attacks from special zombies have little effect on you.

    !-Power Skill: Eject Button

Double tap X to pull out a comical oversized eject button. Blasts you forward about 20 feet. Has a 240 second cooldown, and cannot be used more than once per round.
