  1. -Favourite layout?

Easily Der Riese. As you said, the perks are in great places, LOVED Nightfire, and I really liked the idea of the factory.

    -Favourite starting room?

Ascension, because that big ol' centrifuge always caused some chaotic fun with my friends.

-Favourite map with the best wall weapons?

Die Rise, because it introduced two of my favorites, the AN-94 and SVU.

-Favourite map with the best Wonder Weapon(s)?

Shi No Numa or Moon. The wave gun because it could be ripped into two, and had two very different effects, and Shi No introduced the Wunderwaffe!

-Favourite way to access the Pack-a-Punch?

Der Riese. I like how linking the TP's accomplished two things at once, activating the teleporter and getting closer to PAP!

-Favourite map with the best traps?

Mob of the dead. Introduced the Acid and Fan traps.

-Favourite map with the best special enemy(enemies)?

Gotta give this to Shangri-La. I always wondered If 3arc would add mutations to these basic zombies.

-Favourite way to get the Free Perk power-up?

I always liked the challenge of it on Ascension.

  2. Really great analysis, MMX.

In my opinion, It's from the perspective of Misty, realizing that... She is killing people she doesn't even know. Faceless, anonymous people. Realizing she is becoming one, (At the beginning of most Buried games, she says she thinks "this wound will never heal" possibly referring to a bite.) She wants the zombies to be gone, for it to all go back to the way it was. She questions herself about why she's numb to all of the killing. But she knows she can't go back, not after such an experience.

  3. So my group just finished the Ric side EE, however our box never lit up so we could hit the button.

All our people followed Ric through the whole thing yet beyond the very first time we played the map that box hasn't lit up.

So how do we get that box to lit up and we hit the button? Our Achievement has already popped up and we have the perks, we just can't hit that button. So its us 4 standing near that box, with big guy holding our crawler.

Are all of your Navcards linked? I believe you have to enter another game, because once you started building the Guillotine, the box wont light up for the rest of the game. Or, at least, that's my experience.

  4. Yeah, I really think Maxis has just lost it. What is the point of saving Samantha if there is no more home for them? I suppose that they could just stay together, their souls in the Aether. But I don't think even Sam would want that. He is truly just a selfish, insane man.

  5. What I'm more intrigued about is this: What side benefits you the most? I heard doing the Maxis side will NOT give you the permanent perks back, after starting a new game of Buried. But Richtofen's side does, giving you infinite quick revive in a Solo game, 4 weapon slots and infinite Fire Sale?

Can anyone confirm these things for me and tell me not to waste my time doing Maxis side, even though I've already done Maxis EE in TranZit & Die Rise? These were the hardest, too, and you get no reward at all..

Richtofen's bonuses sound QUITE overpowered. Almost unbelievable. But, eh, guess that's the point of being (practically) god.

  6. Omfg, 5 hours into it. It kicks out and says "Server Disconnected- anim overload."

Me and my team are... EXTREMELY angry. We were at the switches part, obvious to my last post.

Yeah... To reset the levers, I think you return to processing.

Did anyone else have this happen to them?!

  7. Not sure if this goes here, but Benn from PTG has uploaded something VERY interesting.

    HUUUUUGGGGEEEE Spoilers.

    Link removed.

Now, has anyone found anything about flipping the switch during this "Infinite Round"? I'm starting to question it's legitimacy. Even with the picture.

    ====

Link was removed for following reasons.

    1. It does not help solve Easter Egg.

    2. No explanation to the video was provided.

  8. Honestly, I really wanna see a grief map here. At first, I didn't like grief, but when Cell Block came out it changed for me. There were more elements to it than just survive. More things to knock out the enemy team, or help yours. (Traps, Dog.)

I really hope they do something with the maze, or the hillbilly. For example, Gaining the hillbilly's favor grants him attacking zombies, and for each kill he gets each of your team members get 15 or 20 points. I would suggest 15, as 15x4= 60, the normal amount of points for a zombie kill. A little could easily go a long way.

  9. I think I already know how to get a free perk, guys.

Now, in the achievements list, there is a certain achievement...

"Ectoplasmic Residue: In Buried, acquire a perk for free."

    "Ectoplasmic Residue"

As we all know, there is a new female ghost "Boss" in this map.

We also notice that she bleeds out PURPLE when she is shot. That Purple is ectoplasm, as that's what ghosts are made of.

Due to the combination of this title and how you get this achievement, I can conclude that killing the female ghost boss will give you a free perk.

    What do you all think?

  10. Listen.

Alright, when you first start up zombies now, the entry is "Al's Journal", right?

Well, he talks about taking his revenge on "The Editor."

Now, I'm sure you've seen the picture of The Weasel's drawing w/ the Editor's comments on it.

Okay... The Weasel knew his art would never be published. He showed his drawings to Sal, Finn and Billy, but they didn't care. In a fit of rage during the night, Weasel was talking to himself. In his head, a voice started speaking. (Alcatraz is known for weird shit!) It's the Devil.

The Weasel makes a deal with the devil. Whatever the Weasel draws becomes true because of this. About a month of not drawing, he decides to sketch a plan to escape the island.

As the Warden states during "Pop Goes The Weasel", they didn't accomplish building the plane in time. However, the plane is still seen flying in the air. This is because The Weasel's deal.

Because of the failure, Sal, Finn and Billy murder The Weasel. They get executed by electric chair.

The Devil is not happy with Sal, Finn and Billy, because by murdering The Weasel, The Devil couldn't get his end of the deal (Not sure what it is...) and so he put the group in Purgatory, where Weasel's drawings became real, giving The Weasel the chance to change history and survive the attack.

This explains why the group says things regarding Weasel's drawings. Even Weasel talks about it.

When he eventually kills the group, The Devil brings Weasel out of Purgatory and back into the real world, where he continued his drawings.

Later, these drawings became the comic books that we see as loading screens for maps.

The whole thing is The Weasel's doing.

    BAM, MIND BLOWN

......... this is something my friend sent to me on another website. Interesting theories you two have here.

    Thanks for the credit, Sparty.
