And that's the problem with the current voting method. Say there are 20 people, 8 think the Ray Gun mkII is the best and 12 think it is the worst. So 8 people vote for it and the other 12 people vote for the Sliquifier, An-94, and Paralyzer in equal parts. They have for votes a piece, despite the fact that more people dislike it.

I didn't think we needed to account for how many people disliked the gun even though it got the most votes. :oops:

Well it looks like we have a tie for a couple of guns!

We'll give it till 12 pm CST today, because not many people have voted yet.

I may just move the deadlines to when there is a certain amount of votes in each poll. Like 20-30 or so.

Idunno a lot of people favor the RGM2 and the Paralyzer over everything nowadays.

It happened when MOTD came out with the Blundergat, and the as for mentioned Sliquifier. It just keeps getting better and better. :)

I can't see how people say that the an94 is the best gun. Its the best wall gun for sure, but the paralyzer, (what I voted for) jet gun, sliquifier, and other wonder weapons are much better. I agree it outclasses almost every other gun including the hammer but I think the paralyzer is a great gun and I would love to see it return in the next map.

You're probably right. I mean the paralyzer is rechargeable and you can fly. But I think the fact that you can get the AN off the wall and it's just fucking powerful right off the bat, it's got to be up there.

I came up with this idea for you guys, the CODZ community, to rank according to you, the Best Weapon to the Worst Weapon in Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 Zombies!

How This Will Work

We will list out all 54 Weapons that you can obtain in all the Black Ops 2 Zombies Maps thus far, but only 20 in each poll. This included Tranzit, Nuke Town, Die Rise, Mob Of The Dead, and Buried.

The Community will vote 1 Weapon each day for the Top 10 Weapons, from then on it will be 2 weapons per day. The #1 ranked Weapon according to you guys, voting will end on Friday, July 12th, 2013 at 12:00 AM CST.

We will list all the dates and times when voting will end for each Weapon rank.

Since we can only use 20 for the poll, I'll do my best to put the top 20 weapons. If you want to add a weapon I forgot to add to the list that you wanna vote, simply reply to this thread saying you want to vote for a certain Weapon. And please if I missed any weapons that I forgot to put on the 54 listed, please don't hesitate to tell us.

Note, that I didn't list any of the Pack A Punched/Upgraded Weapons, so it's for you guys to decide if the weapons you rank are because of their upgraded form as well!

Have you ever head of a forum game known as hurt and heal?

Baiscally, you have a big list, everything has 10 life points. Voters can hurt 2 (1 point from two weapons or 2 points from one weapon) and heal 1. You can then rank the guns based on the order they go out. Granted this makes it more of a popularity contest, but ultimately that's what it will end up being.

Obviously, vote frequency can be adjusted to whatever frequency you would like, however I feel a vote every 4 hours or so is a good frequency.

Another option, to speed up the early rounds is to say allow people 6 hurts while over 50 remain 5 while over 40, 4 while over 30 and so on.

Haha that sounds fun, ecspecially for a Zombies forum. I'm gonna see how this goes for a couple days, and maybe we could implement it if people lose interest.

So far the Sliquifier is winning with a whopping 6 votes! WOOOO :lol:

I once tricked someone to thinking on Die Rise, when they sing "we all fall down", you have to jump off the map, and you'll get revived with all 6 perks. They did it a couple times even after the song, because I said they didn't do it right. Funniest thing ever.

Persistent Jugg is the only thing making it easier. I'm fine with the rest.

Imo I think Jugg is too easy to get, and it's an advantage over other players.

Honestly if they would just add some icons to show you have them, and not carry over from previous games, I think they wouldn't get as much criticism. I mean having the bank and the fridge/weapon locker is enough for a carry over, but starting out with Jugg on round one without earning it is just ridiculous. :?

I get it. In that case the title should be " ypur fav weapon" not " best weapon " cuz ray gun is the most powerful gun in the game other than wonder weapons like t gun, wave gun which are infinite round weapons.

Guess it works both ways.

Is this because of the Paralyzer?

I know one fixed the ability to hop over the hole in the gate by the mansion on Buried.. Sucks they did it on a high round game though bro.

A lot of people will hate that they fixed it, but it's for the good of the map. Using a trample steam is just as good as it for that rock. Unless they fixed that one too.

As of 2 hours ago, I could still trample steam over it. (Used it for Awaken the Gazebo.)

That's good. It's a good strategy for wanting to not have that guy take the time to get over there to break that thing. Also you can train easier in there as well when the barrier is not broken. I used it as well for the Awaken the Gazebo. :D

Sorry but this is completely dependent on rounds on maps.

Generally I'd go for ray gun or mark 2 till round 40. After that it is pretty useless unless I want crawlers. I'm sure 99.99% will go with same.

I like the idea of fav weapon in general.

I think people will have a lot of different views on which guns they choose like you do. Hopefully we'll be surprised on to some of the different weapons people think are the best of the best. The AN-94 for instance, people could all pick that because it's a powerful starting wall weapon that many people think is the strongest gun in the game.

Just tried it, he turned the perk into a magic drop. useless haha

I think you can get points from the Fountain if I can recall.

I would also not try to get the max amount of points unless you have 1 zombies left. I got killed so many times yesterday trying to do that in the middle of rounds.
