  1. How do you guys do it? I mean in solo, on die rise. I was playing by myself I had pap'd an-94, pap'd hamr, pap'd ray gun, and I had all the perks, set up was perfect, I was camping in the roof and I knew I was going to get overrun so I went downstairs in the Buddha room to run trains. But I got downed while running a train in the Buddha room while using the ray gun like an idiot. My question is where do I run trains? I know it may sound silly but I've been running trains in the Buddha room and in the room below the SVU unsuccessfully. I've survived on those rounds purely on luck sack. I run the train but they just come from every direction. it's not like in town that they come from 2 or three places. They come from everywhere. The Buddha room is much easier but there are certain time where I just get stuck randomly. What is the will to continue playing After round 20? Please help.

Tl;dr fear of being stuck running trains in buddah room and below SVU room, and what is the meaning of playing after round 20?

  2. DT2 doesn't use more ammo, it doesn't use 2 bullets per shot, it actually splits your 1 bullet into 2 as it comes out.

so for all intents and purposes, it doubles your ammo/damage capability.

to test buy a sniper rifle and ADS with DT2. shoot 1 bullet. you will have 1 less bullet but see 2 trails from the 1 bullet that left the rifle.

see the updated emblem for DT2.0

    it actually splits the bullets.

I see, I see. But why does it feel like i'm wasting so much ammo in such little time? I mean in tranzit i always ran double tap but i never felt this depleted even with two weapons. even with a galil, and hamr i rarely ran out of ammo. but in die rise it happens to me often. I don't know maybe because i dont kite/train in die rise, and in tranzit i did, but uhhh... >.>

  3. Any and every time...It used to be in my opinion terrible as it wasted you ammunition faster than one could pull the trigger...but now it hase the ability to shoot two bullets for every one bullet...inevitably DOUBLING the strength of any gun...it is amazing and is an immensly benefricial perk to have honestly...my perk consumption in Die Rise- If all goes as planned is:

    Juggernog

    Double tap

    Speed Cola

Quick Revive/Mule Kick(whichever seems more pertinent at the time)

Quick Revive/Mule Kick(whichever wasnt recieved earlier)

    Whos Who

I know its amazing, I'm not saying its terrible. I got double tap by round 14. I was depleted by 21. i couldn't make it to the jumping jack's round. which was 24. I died in round 23. with no ammo. so my question is when is the appropriate time to get double tap? Oh, I was running pap'd an-94(depleted), pap'd pdw 57(depleted), and a sliquifier(depleted). I'm pretty sure that if i wasnt running Double tap in such an early round i wouldn't have died and kept playing. :(

Note:What I'm trying to say is, when is the appropriate time to get Double Tap? In which round? Which round so i don't deplete my ammo in such low rounds, that is my dilemma.

  4. The an 94 is to stiff. The galil isn't. The only thing the an-94 has an advantage on is the ammo. Maybe with speed cola, and double tap the an-94 would beat the galil, but other than that the galil is the superior gun IMO. It's handling, it's damage, it's just too good. It takes forever for me to kill a zombie with the an-94 at 15+, it doesn't for the galil. It's a good wall gun, and I love the an-94 but I will always choose the galil if given the change over the an-94.

  5. I'm arguing that Green run and NTZ and Great leap forward all happened, or better said are happening in the 80's. they were blown up in the late 60's maxis has been searching for decades more than (1). Maybe it is 1996, maybe its 1986, I don't know. But i'm pretty sure that we're not in some 2025 era because the chinese soldiers have the SDC emblem. or because of the futuristic guns.

  6. Treyarch was founded in 1996...

This. I don't think all of this " the poster says 1996 therefore it is after 1996" is true. It's just something treyarch added, it's not something that is actually true, it's there just to as I guess you could say a mini Easter egg. It's not that it's actually 1996.

This can be seen on the collars of the zombies wearing armor. The fridge for me has some significance, since there's another fridge texture model in the Power building. To me, it seems like Treyarch wouldn't be using two completely different texture models for a fridge- it is saying, at least in my opinion, we're at least in a near future of some sort. I agree, my original thought was that after Hanford was shut down the entire city was just left to crumble. One thing can be 100% certain here, however- we are in modern times, and have been in modern times since Call of the Dead.

Re-used texture. IMO. Green run could have been abonded there are several theories out there that make a lot of sence. For the whole Chinese soldier zombies, the whole SDC is just reused texture. Remember that GLF is during the communist era of china. Correct me if I'm wrong by I'm pretty sure the SDC in campaign mode is a democratic government. It's just re used text. Zombie apocalypse happened the government brought in the military, they got overrun by the zombies and hence we have GLF. There's no point in making a whole new zombie dressed in a communist era outfit when you can just tweak the multiplayer character and save yourself some time. At least IMO.

I was looking around Die Rise to see if I could find any easter eggs, and I eventually found something interesting on a poster in the Mall (at the building where you start). You can find the poster down the purchasable stairways (when you open the first door), at the left of the doorway to the right. (okay now on to the easter egg XD)

SO the poster is a nail polish ad, nothing special, until I noticed at the bottom it said, "Since 1996." Now this obviously tells us that Zombies in Black Ops II is not in the 1960's. But the question is, What year is it in? I can probably guess it's in either the late 2010's or the early 2020's. Now Treyarch said in an interview, that they like to put SOME things from Campaign in Zombies, but not too much. That's possibly why the buildings in Green Run and Die Rise aren't really "futuristic."

BUT WAIT! If Black Ops Zombies on Moon and Black Ops II Zombies IS in the 2020's why were there modern weapons on the Moon and Future Weapons on Nuketown? Well, here's my theory. As our heros arrived at Area 51 and Moon they didn't know they were in the future, so our old announcer Samantha Maxis, didn't exactly want them to figure it out sooner or later, so she kept modern weapons on the Moon instead of Future Weapons.

And another thing, if the Earth was demolished in the 1960's then Call of the Dead would have been more apocolyptic since it was either in 2010 or 2011, so that's another mystery solved.

I don't exactly have any pictures at the moment, but I will eventually put it up on this post later. Unless any of you want to put one up yourself (which you don't have to but it's appreciated). If you have anything you want to add, feel free to do so.

    Regards,

I agreed with your post until the "but wait part". Richtofen and COTD all happened because richtofen was Time traveling and jumping across years. COTD is in a different timeline or I guess you can say an alternate timeline. After ascension richtofen time traveled to COTD, he then went back in time to shangri-la, and then to moon. After the moon the earth was blown up. COTD never happened because COTD was in the 2000's, and the earth was blown up in the 60's. meaning that never happened.

@ the guns. SVU, an-94 where made around the 90's which is believed to be the era we are currently in. ( check out tac's threat about the whole timeline it's actually believed to be around the late 80's IIRC) :0

  7. I don't think you should take parts of the game so literally that you incorporate them into the story. Take for example the perks: exactly why are there vending machines scattered around the globe which give you superpowers? It's a game feature to help you survive the hoards of zombies; you shouldn't come up with wild theories to explain their existence.

I know the four characters seem to be stuck in some sort of loop in Die Rise, but I don't think this has anything to do with the actual game cycle, just that it is part of the story which is to soon unfold itself.

We call some instances in zombies that are not exactly related to the story non-canon. But to say that taking parts of the game is "too serious" and not relevant to the storyline is more opinion-based, really. For example, would you ever expect Wonder Weapons to be crucial in helping us determine a particular time period or even propose short backstories of our characters? Or even grab something is simple as a poster/mechanism blueprint to display why we are in the setting we currently are in?

I don't believe the original four is dead; it could be possible, but then again, they may as well be finished off. They could have easily just left via teleporter back to Area 51. If you grab the SVU (PaP'ed helps a lot) and scope at the Moon, you can see a cluster of red dots in a particular spot. Supposedly, that's Griffin Station.

Would you consider the box the same?:0

  8. So I'm a PS3 player, and I want to purchase Nuketown Zombies my friend told me I had to buy the season pass is that true? My other friend told me I can purchase nuketown zombies for 3 bucks alone. So I'm really confused. Off topic: but where can I purchase nuketown 2025

Edit: I've been looking through the store.. Can't find much. Or I'm just really dumb and I can't find it lol.

  9. I'm surprised no one has mentioned how you use Samuel to revive russman in the Buddha room for maxis. I always associated russman and stu with Richthofen, so why maxis? Why is it stu that revives russman? Stu is very important in richtofen's plan, but why give such a key role in the maxis Easter egg side to him? the guy who serves your enemy. Why isn't it misty reviving him or Marlton. LOL. Jk. About that one. But seriously. Also, "The blood sacrifice" for Maxis is to offer russman and then later revive him, but in richtofen's side it's just launching zombies towards the tower.

Does anyone get what I'm saying? There's so many questions popping in my head. Welp?

  10. I feel you man.

I was playing survival on town, and I decide to turn my mic on since its round 20. I'm playing with randoms, and this guy screams on the mic " what are you doing PKMNTrainerBlack?! Why are you making crawlers with the ray gun?!!" They were doing the apartment glitch on town. I believe it went until round 23 of me emp'ing their PAP'd weapons. And making crawlers in the apartment until they all went down and I later killed myself after making a crawler just before the eve ended and jumping on the lava. They lost their marbles.

  11. This is amazing. It makes you think someone from treyarch is a descendant from tesla and using zombies for his own personal agenda. Wow this is amazing, I can't express that enough. My mind is completely blown. No but seriously what if zombies is actually prepering us or trying to enlighten us about this. This all makes sence. At least to

    Me. ^_^

  12. I don't think zombies will get their own game for the reasons a fellow poster posted above. I like it the way it is right now. I can alternate between 3 hour games of zombies to multiplayer 10 min games. Will they end zombies in blops 2? I don't think so. There's too much yet to be explained. Campaign is going to suck if they make blops 3 though lol.

  13. Its just a game dont expect everything to be logical. And Shi No Numa was in Japan (now part of modern day CHINA)

Japan was important to the story line since it involved the nazis and the axis. I don't see how china adds up, I mean it makes sence from the black ops 2 timeline since the story line involves china but china in black ops zombies... Ehh.

Inb4 but Japan conquered china during ww2, so it makes it relevant. I guess but I mean it's a city map not military map.

    Help? :(

  14. Hey friendo, welcome to the community!

To answer your questions, the blue eyes are related to your activity period when you play at least five consecutive days of zombies. They are not related to rank. Deaths are the times you bleed out, the step beyond going down. Gibson are blowing limbs off the zombies as a form of "crippling" them.

For strategies, I'd recommend this guide:

    http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/view ... 36&t=26878

You can still use it in online matches. It's very useful and informative; I'd highly recommend you give it a good read. :)

Thanks man! Wait so how do we actually rank up? I'm confused. Is it by the rounds? deaths? Thanks for the help.

  15. Hello everyone happy new year! I'm new to the boards so forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong place. I got blops2 about 3 weeks ago and that was the first time I had actually ever played zombies. I had played zombies before but I was a total scrub. Still am. Lol. I digress, my point is that a week into the game I had the skull with blue eyes I had about 6000 kills and about 150 downs I mostly played grief, and my highest round on tranzit at the time was 19. After that game I deranked, and I got depressed after that. Yesterday I got my blue eyes back, but honestly I have had terrible games. Like terrible. My stats are

    Kills: 15319

    Bullets: 88571

    Downs: 437

    Revives:126

    Grenade: 289

    Headshots: 3173

    Deaths?:136

    Gibs: 9752

    Perks:208

    Doors: 60

    Hits: .66

    Miles: 260

Just a couple of questions. What exactly do deaths mean? Gibs? Is there any way I can improve etc? My highest survival round was 25 with 1026 kills and 8 downs. Highest tranzit was 21. Thanks for reading!
