  1. Okay...here we go.

Since BLOPS II details started coming through we got some hints towards zombie maps. For many it started here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jy17fTZriog

Here we got a view of a town which brought a few speculations and theories about a dinner and a church which was suitably called "The Map"

(NOT my image!, taken from google as couldn't find the forum version)

We now go ahead in time and we turn up at the reveal of the hardened and care package edition of BLOPS II. This revealed to us a new zombie map Nuketown Zombies!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcijQmOkam8

Now skip to the present, we've been given 4 (almost 5) audio files along with a sneaky preview of zombies:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVxDid8qMgA

So I want to ask you throughout all of this which fits where.

Is Nuketown zombies the map Treyarch are giving us as a preview? (the bus could be perceived as the bus from Nuketown along with some of the recent screen shots)

^ That red car coming from the wall could be the one from Nuketown.

Is "The Map" the map we're seeing in the preview as one HUGE map that can be accessed via bus as it is too big to walk around?

OR are these simply three maps that stand alone? "The Map", "Nuketown Zombies" and "The bus driver map"

Bear in mind though we do have the addition of 4z4 maps & traditional maps so one or more of these maps could be specific. (so the map could be a 4z4 as it did look like it had enough space and a decent layout)

Tell me what you think about all this!

  2. Hello guys.I am New member in this community.I am Jenifer Wilson from Canada.I am enjoying here so much.I like to play PC Games and Online games alot.

It's an intro within an intro within an intro... inception!

    Hello & Welcome!!! :D

  3. I haven't seen the leaks so I presume I'll just go on speculating!

It looks like it says RIP (as many of you have said) with a name below it ending in 'RA' With maybe an E before it.

Could this possibly be a door or as Liam in his vid said part of the EE. To me it doesn't look like a perk MACHINE as wouldn't the machine have something to dispense the bottle out of? It could also be a spawn point after you die...

*OFF TOPIC: That zombie looks SO detailed, it's amazing.

  4. These are practically the same but it could mean several things.

    1) Are we going back to the future again (as in a hint at the time setting (the future))?

    2) Are we playing as the characters from back to the future?

    3) Are we going to 1955? (I don't think that would make much sense though)

Great link though! I don't think this is a coincidence.

  5. Ok radaustin27 just posted a video and said what if its a new perk and the new electro zombie walks past it and turns it off. My point is what if its a new perk's song.

It would fit nicely as a perk song,

Sounds like this new boss is gonna be a grumpy ass dude who likes to spoil peoples fun, and their electricity.

I like this idea. Maybe it's been overloaded with electricity. MAYBE this has something to do with that thing on the bus, he is your ticket to making everything work or something, it make things more challenging... I prefer the electric boss idea though :|

    EDIT:

The Z in Waltz is capital, just thought I'd point that out.

Yeah, I guess that just stands for Zombies or something though. Like, you have "DayZ", "The War Z", etc. Although it may just as well mean something else, who knows.

    Probably.

  6. I KNEW IT!!!!! ZOMBIES LOVE DANCING! :D

I'm not going to lie but these things are starting to freak me out...

Also is something said at 0:16?

The Z in Waltz is capital, just thought I'd point that out.

To me it really doesn't have that 3/4 feel to me it sounds like it is in 2/4 time... i can't be sure though, haven't played a waltz in ages but know that different forms do exist.

EDIT: 2/4 waltz is known as sauteuse, have we seen this somewhere before?

  7. Great thread!

    Umm... here we go

    Primary Weapon: Assault Rifle

Primary Attachment: Select Fire AND fast mag

    Secondary: Probably a Launcher

    Secondary Attach: N/A

    Perk 1: Hardline

    Park 2: Scavenger OR Toughness

    Perk 3:Engineer OR Tactical Mask

    Lethal: N/A

Tactical: Shock Charge AND Black Hat PDA

    Wildcards: Tactician

So there's my 10, the perks really do depend on how well I'm doing but it'll probably be a class like this.

  8. That statue in the background....where is it from...I feel I've seen it before in a picture or something...

    Here it is zoomed in:

I too am sure that I've seen this before but annoyingly I have no idea where. It wouldn't be there if it didn't mean something...

I also agree with Electric Jesus agreeing with Ziggy. The game should really come Wednesday but that image looks as if CODZL will happen again at some point but it doesn't have to take up the whole trailer, it could be near the end or something.

Also it does make sense that if CODZL started at the end of moon they would take it through in some shape or form.

    EDIT:

    That structure behind the statue...

it looks like the Washington Monument.

Would that make the statue the George Washington statue?

  9. So today I give you all a question!

I know it is early on in the process but by what we've seen and by the descriptions what do you think your ideal scorestreak set-up will be. Here is the scorestreaks in the spoiler if you don't know them already (it will take up a lot of the page).

Choose what would suit your play style and yourself.

    RC-XD - 325 Points

Allows you to remote control a small car that's packed with explosives. The RC-XD can be detonated at will - enemies can also shoot to destroy it.

    UAV - 375 Points

Shows enemies on the radar as red dots for 30 seconds. The UAV can be shot down by the enemy.

    Hunter Killer - 400 Points

Deploys a flying drone that seeks out and tries to destroy the nearest enemy player or vehicle.

    Care Package - 450 Points

The Care Package is the same as in previous Call of Duty games: it gives you a random scorestreak / killstreak. The Care Package can be hacked by the enemy team.

    Counter-UAV - 475 Points

Temporarily disables the enemy radar for 30 seconds - the Counter-UAV drone can be shot down by the enemy.

    Guardian - 500 Points

After the Guardian dish is deployed, it projects a microwave field that stuns enemies by slowing them down and also making their vision blurry.

    Hellstorm Missile - 525 Points

The Hellstorm Missile works like the Predator Missile from the Modern Warfare series; it allows you to remotely control one missile to the ground. The missile can be scattered into a cluster bomb at will.

    Lightning Strike - 550 Points

Equivalent to the Mortar Team killstreak from Call of Duty: Black Ops. You can choose three locations on the map for a coordinated strike.

    Death Machine - 600 Points

Gives you a powerful minigun that can take out enemies with a couple of hits. Unlike in Black Ops, the Death Machine lasts until it runs out of ammo, even after dying - the Scorestreak can be reactivated and the ammo count is where you left off.

    Sentry Gun - 600 Points

An advanced version of the normal Sentry Gun that's been featured in previous Call of Duty games; once deployed, the Sentry Gun automatically attacks enemies. This version can, however, be remote-controlled at anytime.

    War Machine - 700 Points

The War Machine is a semi-automatic grenade launcher with a 6 round magazine. The War Machine works like the Death Machine; it lasts until all the grenades have been used.

    Dragonfire - 725 Points

Allows you to remote-control a quadrotor droid that's equipped with a lightweight machine gun. The Dragonfire is lightly armored, so it can be shot down by the enemy with ease.

    AGR - 800 Points

The AGR (autonomous ground robot) is air-dropped into the battlefield and it automatically attacks enemies - it can also be remote-controlled at anytime. The AGR is heavily armored and has a powerful machine gun and a rocket launcher.

    Stealth Chopper - 850 Points

An advanced version of the normal Attack Helicopter from previous Call of Duty games. The Stealth Chopper circles around the map and hunts for enemies, but it doesn't appear on the enemy radar.

    Orbital VSAT - 900 Points

Shows enemies on the radar, but also the direction they are facing - it shows the enemies on the radar in real time. The Orbital VSAT can't be shot down.

    Escort Drone - 1000 Points

The Escort Drone follows you around and will attempt to kill any enemies you encounter. This scorestreak reward is equivalent to the AH-6 Overwatch pointstreak from MW3, but it's more advanced.

    Warthog - 1025 Points

Calls in an A-10 Thunderbolt that provides air support by doing several strafe runs on the map.

    EMP Systems - 1050 Points

Temporarily disables enemy electronics, e.g. enemy players will have no HUD (head-up display) and can't call in Scorestreak rewards.

    Lodestar - 1150 Points

Equivalent to the Modern Warfare 3 Reaper Pointstreak; it allows you to launch multiple missiles from the Lodestar to the ground.

    VTOL Warship - 1200 Points

Allows you to be the gunner of a powerful VTOL Warship. It works exactly like the Chopper Gunner killstreak from Call of Duty: Black Ops.

    K9 Unit - 1275 Points

Spawns multiple attack dogs that hunt down enemy players.

    Swarm - 1400 Points

Calls in a swarm of Hunter Killer drones that search and destroy enemies on the map.

    Mine is-

Hunter Killer- 400 points, I think this would suit my play style of rushing, as it is a small killstreak I would be able to get it easily. It also look REALLY cool, the way you throw it like a paper plane and it finds the enemy for you. I like it.

Care Package- 450 points, I choose this often, as long as I don't get fed up with it I will be choosing this as I have the possibility to get scorestreaks that are higher than this.

Finally the last spot would either be:

The Guardian- 500 points, this set-up would be easier to get, from what we've seen the guardian actually does something good and aslong as the map has a good space to use this then this would be my choice.

Or DragonFire- 725 points, if this flys like the Recon Drone in MW3 then I would probably use this, this also depends on how effective the guardian is in combat.

So from seeing what I've seen I think this is my ideal scorestreak set-up at the moment. This is also taking into account what killstreaks I can get in previous games.

So based on your style and what you think you can realistically do, what do you think your ideal scorestreak is?

  10. Is it just me or does that music remind you of a really high tension/suspense moment, like something's stalking you? What if you hear this thing charge up/spawn and then it disappears and hunts you down one by one. And when you hear that attack noise.....

Basically a perfected George Romero....

    Or an electrical Slenderman

It would make a lot of sense to have an electric zombie from all the info you've provided. There is something about the death video that just doesn't seem right to me though... it could possibly be a new WW on the electric zombie as I seem to hear more going on than just a zombie dying, it seems like it's being killed by someone.

Anyone who has watched Scooby Doo 2 Movie (the one where all the monsters return, candy floss man etc.) (it was a long time ago) remember how they killed that big electric thing, didn't they overcharge it with electricity. So maybe this could link into that.

^Can't believe I just used that as an example

  11. Can't make heads nor tails of it reversed or not. At 2-3 it sounds like a voice saying "oh" (painful oh)? It reminds me of Richtofen....

I'm honestly thinking Robots.. perhaps that bus driver looking thing is the scary boss or you need to protect him and if he dies then the buses power goes out. Thus the electricity. Hmmm.

  12. MW3 wasn't the best, the MP has gotton boring and the campaign wasn't something I loved but it did introduce some pretty neat game modes and features. Saying this Spec Ops isn't that special and MP really isn't that best, don't know why but there is something missing.

I'm hoping that BLOPS II will improve on this. The campaign really does seem to have an amazing storyline, the way it is going to be portrayed as seems great. The new features will also stop it being the same as past campaign and very linear.

MP also seems to have a LOT of new features, the maps they have shown off looks great, I think it's Cargo where they have the moving crates, I LOVE THIS CONCEPT, something moving during play which will effect how the game is played out, also the scoring system seems fairer this time, I can now go get objectives and actually get something extra from it. Also those streaks do look great!

Podcasting will hopefully be a mode of mine that I will use a lot. I would be fun to use and put up on media sites.

Lastly with league play I am looking forward to playing with people of my skill instead of getting thrashed or beating the other team by miles.

Finally Zombies... do I really need to say anything here... I will anyway.

WORLDS!!! They're making worlds! I looking forward to some new innovations (from the preview it seems like we have a lot of this) also 4z4 zombies would be fun to play & hopefully bring a little challenge.

Black Ops II will definitely live longer than MW3 did & will keep my interest longer. Not sure how long, but hopefully long enough!

  13. I'd like to see hints of weapons and possible hints of perks but overly I would like to see mainly the characters, gameplay with new innovations.

I can just imagine the trailer starting and we get an a view around the bus, we then see the bus speed off and a horde of crazy zombies running behind it. We are then as a character inside the bus destroying the zombies and maybe some quotes.

We then get little shots of characters killing zombies with weapons, drinking perks, their jingles, some quotes to see who they are. Maybe see a little of the 4z4 game modes. Then it goes back to the bus (as if you never left).

The camera then dramatically turns around, we then get a glimpse of the bus drives face, he laughs like a robotic Richtofen/or maybe the teddy bear and says something like,

"Welcome to the ride of your life  "

    OR

"You don't want to miss the bus...or it won't only be the school teacher you'll have to worry about  "

And then the trailer ends. Maybe with a glimpse of a wonder weapon after or some extra features.

  14. I do know what Lenne is saying about it being shown in the trailer means it was shown for a reason (and I'm always on about mechanics and items being there for a reason!) but I'm just not 100% sure about this having much relevance. The sign doesn't seem to have any ware like the Shangri-La one doesso I don't think this has any relevance to Shangri-La unless this area develops into Shangri-La (so Shangri-La would be further forward in time than anticipated).

It could be that Treyarch were being lazy with the textures or it could be a hint at others being there. It could be a hint to characters we know being there OR as crazy said it could be from another map, I have a feeling Jungle had a sign like this, I was always walking past it to walk into those land mines :D

  15. I've been thinking since the preview yesterday and was seeing how fast the zombies were running.

This got me thinking about their actions with pulling things off the bus. This make it seem like their even more intent on killing you, so Richtofen isn't playing around!

This has also got me thinking on how many strings he will pull to try and kill us...

So I'm here to ask what strings do you think he will pull and how far do you think he'll go?

We know that Sam could control people (from the Ascension EE) so could this come into play... maybe we could see things that aren't there. The environment could also come into play and the possible types of zombies could well affect the way we play.

Bear in mind it does look like Richtofen wants us dead!

  16. WHAT DO I THINK!!!

I think it was great Carbon! Seems like a challenging map which is what I'm going to love about it. It also seems huge! Wednesday should be good.

You've been nice enough to give us a leg but now I want the whole chicken because I'm that hungry :D & yeah! Well done & thanks!!!! Pumped me up.

  17. We haven't seen the zombies when they're not trying for the bus. It could just be a temporary thing while you're on the bus. Personally though I would hope the zombies run at this speed what rounds get higher. This would give the game more of a challenge, not as much training because of their speed.

I don't know why but I have a feeling this map is going to be a horror map that many have asked for. Faster zombies would make you panic more adding to the tension. If you look at the background of the trailer on the last scene the distance that that zombie takes within about 2 seconds is amazing! Looking forward to 6 days!

  18. Think I've found something...

At the end scene where we see the zombie gripping onto the bus ripping off the plank what is that thing behind it? To me it seems like something on all fours, reminds me of a monkey... either that or the zombies are running so fast my eyes can't separate them as two zombies... I'm not sure. I'll upload a photo ASAP.

EDIT: Photo bucket is crashing :|

  19. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D heheheheheheheh TREYARCH!!!! YOU'VE DONE IT :D oh well that's just great!

what does he say at like :10? almost sounds like tank. def not the voice of the busdriver.

I'm sure it isn't the voice of the driver but I've listened to it about 10 times now & I still can't figure it out... it sounds like someone saying something about gas? I hear, "we're in.." I think... that's a tough one... but the person sounds American for sure. I think you can also hear someone else ABOUT to say something straight after but gets cut off?

  20. I believe that this is Nuketown. If you look around the map you can see that there a lot of power cables going around to the 'hut' thing. That tower in the background also looks like the nuke drop off.

    Those eyes

Like others have stated, there's little chance it is. Look at the vegetation. Plants like that can't thrive in an area like Nuketown's. It looks like a forest on the top left.

I did see that point but I'm just thinking would a nuke have had much impact to nuketowns land?

  21. I believe that this is Nuketown. If you look around the map you can see that there a lot of power cables going around to the 'hut' thing. That tower in the background also looks like the nuke drop off.

    Those eyes

If it is Nuketown then they really have opened it up ALOT. I have always wanted to see what was in that hut...

  22. My theory:

This seems like it is Nuketowns tv. In Nuketown you have a timer that ticks down to tell you when the game is over, this is when the nuke drops. What if the bell is a bomb alarm, they have those bunkers and everything. Then the nuke drops (0.32) BANG! Then the next bit is, zombies? game on!

Maybe the image is the aftermath?

    (just an idea!)

  23. Wow, seems like it's been burnt and rusted over TIME!(in a good way) :D So where does this take us...

Well I like it. Looks good! Still don't think that others are perks though guys, they'd be quite annoying to have in the bottom left of your screen as they're so (textured?).

I have had another idea. What if these are modes for 4z4? (the other two emblems)
